The Pheasant Restaurant & Pheasant Inn in Hillingdon

I had the Shepards pie, and it was excellent. We also had the prawn and Calamari starter, and they were also delicious. I will definatly be back.

One of the best fillet steaks I've had at one of the most competitive prices for size! 10oz for just over £30 and the other reviews don't lie, the portion sizes are no way small and the quality is definitely not compromised! This place offers a fantastic selection of dishes for starters, mains and desserts, an amazing selection of drinks, the staff were really attentive, helpful and friendly and honestly, this experience was significantly better than the visit I had to a dedicated steak place in the city the week prior. Would definitely recommend! Salad was perfect, steak was amazing, dessert was great and the bill, a whole lot better than it would've been at our hotel! Big thanks to all the staff here at the restaurant! Honestly keep it up! This is a gem of a place at Heathrow!

Great atmosphere, you could almost be convinced you are in a country bistro pub. Good food and all priced reasonably well. Recommend if you are staying on Bath Road for Heathrow Airport.

Invited a friend to have food drinks and dance but it is regretted to say the DJ was playing his own choosen music which was beyond our minds. I requested to play a song even it was not busy *Cheri cheri lady* twice but he didn't play. I was so much embarrassed she came specially to visit. I live on the opposite like 2 houses and this embarrassing moment I will not forget since 2006 I am living here. Please do not bring your friends for music and dance but food is good.

Fantastic quality food and great portions at a reasonable price. Our table had the cheese & bacon burger, pie and shepherd's pie. Not one of us had a single thing to complain about, everything was outstanding. The starter, cheese and bacon potato skins starter was much larger than expected, practically a whole baked potato. So unless you've got the appetite, maybe stick to a main and dessert. The staff were all super friendly, attentive, and took care in ensuring you had everything you needed. The restaurant itself was clean and well looked after with a quirky layout comparable to the 'relativity' stairs painting. If you're in the area, I 100% recommend a visit.

Great pub with great service and huge portions. Food served quickly, and they serve a good Guinness. Fairly busy for a weeknight with heated seating areas outside. If staying nearby, this is a must try!

I ate here after a late arrival at heathrow airport. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was awful. Chicken roulade was extremely dry, borderline inedible. Fish and chips were also dry and fries were bland. Kitchen was closing within an hour of arriving so maybe that was part of the reason. Stomach felt weird immediately after eating here.

Fantastic meal and super friendly staff. We recently had a meal here as a work outing and it was delicious. Good pub classics good and flavored to perfection. The portions are very big so make space. The service was spot on with a good balance between attentive without being pushy.

They add a service charge to your bill which is not good especially asvits already quitecexpensive. The only way not to pay/have the service charge removed is the waiter has to get the manager to come to your table to take it off, we didn't want to wait so we paid. We won't be going back again in a hurry next time we stay near Heathrow. Such a shame as it's nice there

Great food. Great service, warm and friendly very good prices for the quality and quantity got the chilli cheese burger with curly fries and struggled to eat it all (if i was that kind of person id of taken a photo). If I'm ever at Heathrow again I'm definitely going in for round two to beat the burger. Staff were on the ball as soon as a table cleared it was cleaned and ready to go for the next customers which even on a Monday three times I watched as a table left and almost instantly it was full again. Very good selection of drinks too

BBQ ribs with fries were really good. Juicy ribs, meat gets off the bone easily. Garlic cheese bread exceeded my expectations too.

The food is self service so u'll have to order and paid at the cashier however the food was awesome with reasonable price and generous portion. I always ordered pork ribs and find it hard to finish it.

I was here for one day (staying at the Marriott) and i came here via a suggestion. Food is very good and the portion sizes are more than generous... If you are from the US think "Cheesecake factory". Just make sure you are very hungry!... Great stuff

Nice vibes. Thought the food menu was quite standard , The beef cheese burger I got was lightly seasoned , The sauce that came with mussels didn’t feel authentic .. But great potion of chips with every meal Can definitely share between two. great portion sizes in general Would like to see a better variety of home cooked dishes !

Bread was lovely, olives were not marinated. Fillet steak was spot on, chicken supreme was dry but potatoes lovely.

The food is always amazing in the pub, prices are a little higher than a normal pub but the portion sizes are huge. I can never finish my food and always take it home. Service is brilliant and quick despite it being busy with the lunch rush.

Awful service from a waiter, he was pushing for my guests to buy alcohol, very aggressive, impatient, rude and did not comply with customer satisfaction. 10 people, the bill come to over £300, food was great but his attitude was unacceptable, left the restaurant very upset. Not going back.

Only fault I could find with this place was we were seated in the 'conservatory' area. Although there was a very good heater, it was a cold Jan evening and it was freezing in there every time someone opened the door. As for the food.....OMG the beef and ale pie is the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing but the filling stole the show. Packed full of the most flavoursome tender beef and veg. Hubby ordered me a side of chips, which were very good, but the table next to us was raving about the mash potato. Drinks, typical Gastro pub selection. Prices, a tad higher than I would have liked to have paid, but the quality just about made it worth it.

We ate here last night .. originally booked for the restaurant, but on arrival, decided we’d like the bar area. We were seated promptly.. you order your food at the bar area… I had gammon and chips and my husband had fish & chips… both meals were excellent.. Our servers were brilliant.. would definitely recommend this place.. next time we are flying from Heathrow, will definitely return here!

What a lovely hidden gem. We went there last night for pre Valentines dinner before we fly out to homeland India. Amazing place with beautiful ambience. Food is to die for. We had T- stakes , but no room for anything else after that dinner. It was huge. Staff were amazing, we were served by a very friendly guy and young lady . Very friendly and professional. On the other hand there were some customers making the atmosphere little dampened. There was a group ladies sat on a table one level below us, absolutely being rude to staff and disrespectful to other people. We asked for bill to be settled and had to wait over 45 minutes, no fault of the staff. That table with group ladies kept all the staff, rally around them, haggling over their bill and so on. In the end one staff member stop serving that table and came over to our table to settle our bill. People like that don’t deserve a such a beautiful place like that. All in all such a great place and when we back in the country we will most certainly visit this place .

Seems nice but apparently you’re not allowed to sit at a table if you’re only having drinks and no one lets you know that until you sit and they tell you to move.

MASSIVE portions, very tasty. Pub is very busy and hot, but if you are staying in Heathrow area after being abroad it feels like a proper pub! Little bit smelly in the bar area and the food ordering system is a bit creaky - but overall highly recommended.

I wanted to share some feedback about our visit on Wednesday for my mum’s birthday. We had heard great things about your food, and it truly did not disappoint—it was absolutely amazing! However, we were seated outside in a tent, which was unfortunately very cold. My parents are elderly, and my dad has arthritis, so the chilly environment made it quite uncomfortable for them. When I booked, I was advised that reservations weren’t necessary, but when we arrived, there was no indoor seating available. I did ask if we could be moved inside, but unfortunately, there was no room. I’d love to visit again, but I hope you can consider improving the outdoor heating to make it more comfortable, especially for guests who may have health concerns.

What a lovely local pub, came for dinner after landing in Heathrow. Perfect dinner after a long flight. Bar staff where nice and food was good. Portions where massive and menu was even bigger. Definitely suggest thinning the menu down. Food was served super quick so can't help but feel it's fresh frozen especially with the size of the menu and variety for the chef's to juggle couldn't help but see the cheese looked microwaved not baked... Having said that I'm no chef and it tasted good and couldn't complain so what do I know. Id definitely go back again. Oh and price of food for the portion was insanely good value for money

Look at the size of the portions!!😄🥳💯 I have been to The Phesant Inn for several occasions, and I do like the restaurant part. The landlord is a very friendly chap and lovely to talk to. The dishes are very generous and I feel like I am at an American restaurant:) the food was much better at the last visit and I do recommend sharing dishes as they are really big:) one of the most decent place to dine in the area. I would recommend it.

Average (except for the prices). Ordered Coke, got Pepsi - in a Guinness glass with a kids straw (even though it was 18+ pub) Dirty cutlery Food was tepid at best. Plate was hotter than the food. Mushy peas tasted as if they were straight from the fridge.

Nice location, it was busy on our visit but didn't felt crowded, they have more than 1 bar... depending on what you want to do... food portions quite generous and decent price! Had a fillet stake and it was on POINT!

My partner and I were staying near Heathrow airport and were looking for somewhere to eat on NYE. We were surprised to find a pub nearby and available. They warmly welcomed us even though we didn’t have a booking and got us a lovely table with party hats for NYE. The service was excellent and the food was delicious (highly recommend the shepherds pie and lamb shoulder). Thank you for a lovely evening!

We came here last night for the first time. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked but we were able to eat in the bar area, which was great before it got busy. The staff were attentive & friendly. The atmosphere was nice & relaxed had a cosy feel. Service was quick & the food was lovely, lost of flavour & the portion sizes were huge ! Great value for money will definitely be back soon.

The food was very good and the restaurant flexible to stay open later when I called and which appreciated. However, it is a little sad to see how quiet it is as years and years ago, it used to be a fun late airport bar and with music. I suspect many are put off by the unnecessary and rude security guarding the door - I think it would put many tourists off entering. I am from London and found quite intimidating
