Really enjoyed my time in home bar & kitchen. Food and drink top notch. Staff friendly and helpfull. Nice to sit in front of a fire also as the weather was terrible outside. I would recommend this place

We visited here for lunch in a group, and as you enter, the restaurant is lovely. Decorated nicely, good atmosphere, and good amounts of space. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectation. Whilst the wings in the starters were excellent, that was it. The Korean BBQ chicken was pretty bland with minimal BBQ flavour, the pizzas were LOADED with cheese to the extent it was quite off putting, and the lamb skewers weren't packing a flavour as you'd expect Moroccan food to. A shame as reviews generally looked good here. Could be an off day.

Was here for a baby shower, so I was not here for long , parking right outside, which is very handy .

Went for Sunday roast beef dinner, it was very nice, only next time would ask for gravy on the side because felt they put too much on and dinner was floating in it.

Very quiet for Friday lunch we were the only table at the venue. The service was prompt and friendly, food was Good, apart of the mushy peas for the Fish and Chips, which was dry and and not very nice.Prawns in garlic butter and squid were delicious.Chciken was tasty. Will definitely be back and recommend.

We came a family with our dog, first impressions are the bar area is lovely very warm and welcoming feel. We ordered the wings and calamari to start which was a really good portion and very tasty. We had the roast which was superb and my sons had the cheese burger which the loved. Time to talk about service from the moment we arrived they couldn’t do enough for us, brought a bowl of water for the dog without us asking and really tried hard to make our visit excellent very highly recommend giving this a try

Great atmosphere, food and service. Staff always friendly and engaging. Really love the laid back vibe created by the music and decoration/furnishing of the venue. This was a return visit and received the same great service.

Hidden gem in West London! This restaurant was beautiful and has an inviting atmosphere. Our waiter and the manager were super attentive and lovely to speak to. The menu is varied and has something for all tastes and preferences! We went with the Baked Camembert as a starter which was deliciously creamy and melty - paired perfectly with the truffle honey sauce it came with and delicious bread. For mains we chose the sea bass which was on the special menu - the fish was soft and tender and the sauce it came with tasted so fresh and was bursting with flavour! I highly recommend it! We also ordered the Moroccan lamb kofta with rice which was also very yummy. And the dessert… also amazing! We had the hazelnut chocolate doughnuts that were the perfect end to such a wonderful meal. 5* and would highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back soon and try more delicious things from the menu.

We went for dinner as a birthday treat for my husband, four adults and two children. There was plenty of choice on the menu and we could see our order being freshly prepared in the kitchen. A gentleman who we found out later was the owner spent some time with us explaining how they source their products and the quality that they expect from their suppliers. We really enjoyed our meal and the gentleman sent my husband on his way with a bottle of wine which he just took out of the fridge and gave him. What a lovely thing to do. The food is not cheap but you are paying for quality and we will definitely be returning.

We booked a table for Christmas dinner with friends last Thursday. There was a lot of big bookings in and there was an initial mix-up with ours getting lost but the owner and staff were very accommodating and also gave us a free bottle of wine by way of apology. My husband and I have eaten here on several other occasions in other seasons and the food is very good quality, definitely gastropub level. Tonight's festive menu was no exception and the place looked fantastic and was decorated beautifully. My duck was melt-off-bone and yet the surprise star on my main dish was the cream cabbage and bacon - so moreish. With a table of 28 and another of 10 or 12, it did get quite rowdy but even being so busy the owner took time to male sure we were enjoying our meal. Big shout out to Giuseppe (I think?) who will also be getting married in Sardinia in June as we did and was equally attentive to us whilst still waiting on the big tables. Would definitely visit again.

We had our Xmas meal and it was delicious, one of our party was in a wheelchair and the staff were very attentive and accommodating! Food was delicious! Atmosphere brilliant.

We were a group of females and got assaulted by a group of Asian males and females, staff didn’t care or help. We had men punching females and the staff just stood and watched. Stay away if you are a female. Edited to add after Home Bar & Grills response below - Yes we definitely do have the correct venue and you definitely have had such an incident in your establishment. We have since discovered that the group of people who attacked us know the owner, so this is why you are lying and trying to cover it up. We have a police CAD number of 357/26Nov23 and trust that you will be cooperating with the police who will be asking for CCTV. The fact that you are insinuating we are lying is quite frankly an insult and shows what sort of place you run there. My review stands as we have plenty of witnesses to the attack and will make sure all who are thinking of going here know that it is not a safe place and the low calibre of clientele and friends the owner keeps. Absolute disgrace of ownership.

I am deeply disappointed by an unprofessional behaviour of Home bar & kitchen manager who I spoke with over the phone today. A while ago, I booked a table for 10. I have received an email from Home bar & kitchen with a confirmation of my enquiry and also a member of the staff will be in touch with me soon. Nothing has happened for the last 10 days. Until today I have received an email that my booking was cancelled. To my disbelief of this cancellation, I called the manager. He said I was supposed reply to this enquiry and make another enquiry to pay a deposit! I read him the previous email and asked where it says to send another enquiry to this enquiry email. Basically this booking system doesn’t make sense, it confuses consumers and to my disbelief, this manager didn’t try to help me. Nothing but arrogant. I am a new consumer and this completely put me off ever going to this restaurant.

I had my best birthday party ever! Bespoke your birthday "mountain" I highly recommend!!! Berger with brioche bread is the best cheat and also the signature with the old faction cocktail..till the end!!!

This was our 10th visit to Home in the past 5 years (the app Swarm reminded me of this little “anniversary”). I remember viewing houses in the area and when we found “the one”, we sealed the deal with a meal at Home. It was the first restaurant in the area that we’ve visited. First and best! It’s become a lovely tradition since then. We have never had an average meal at Home. The food is always great! This time was no exception. Food is tasty, always a tad spicy, it’s locally sourced which we totally love. Staff is really pleasant. Ambiance is superb, I love the dark blue walls and the cosy feeling you get in that place. Honestly, can no recommend this restaurant enough. We’ve eaten everywhere around Ruislip by now, by always come back “Home” :)

Outstanding service and attentiveness. Our waiters was one of the best I've ever experienced. We had such a lovely evening with our waiter service and conversation he really enhanced our night and I enjoyed our time. The food was so good too for gluten free delicious chicken wings, steak with sauce and a moorish peanut butter brownie. Thank you, I won't forget this in a hurry.

Dropped in for a pre theatre meal, it was early on a Tuesday eves, we had a warm friendly welcome, delicious food Would visit again

Our visit was for an early evening meal so there was only one other group of customers. They spent the time of our stay talking and laughing so loud, made worse by it echoing around the room. Plus music was playing very loudly. Shame as these two aspects ruined our stay.

Only had drinks, they have a good choice at a reasonable price. Happy hour is the best time to visit :)

Good restaurant friendly staff two course lunch with drink

Saturday night and we did not plan ahead and no prior booking was made! But, the staff here was unfazed, and calmly sorted us a table. Even as we noticed they were very busy, with tables of group parties taking place. And, so glad we came! Service from our server Sam was both friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the food was GOOD and very well made! We ordered for Starters: Crispy Squid with black ink aoili (really light and crispy) and Spicy Chicken Wings (a tiny bit too much seasoning in the sauce but very tasty!). For Mains: Korean BBQ chicken (nicely marinated and generous portion), Seafood Linguine (perfect!) and Duck Breast with wild Berry sauce (cooked just pink, tender and juicy!). For dessert, the Crème Brûlée was excellent with a satisfying crunchy caramelised topping! Overall impression: there's a top Chef here cooking up some very tasty foods! Highly recommended! Looking forward to trying out other different items on the menu soon! Praises for MrGeorge and his team!

Shame I can only give 5 stars for the service - the food was great as usual, but what really made it was the team working there - had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends who had travelled a fair way to join us! The kids absolutely loved the food and even our friends’ baby made a BFF with the waiter (maybe because he brought her some ice cream..!) Thanks for a lovely meal once again!

We stopped off here on our way home from London. The staff were really chatty and child friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the drinks menu was varied. I particularly enjoyed the portobello road gin and tonic and the whole family loved the cinnamon donuts. I would highly recommend coming here for a few drinks and or dinner.

Absolutely awful. Where do I begin. Apart from never getting a reply to two emails asking to increase number then having to phone to confirm ok. Two of the burgers smelt awful and we sent back, two of the other burgers were partly eaten and sent back. One of which caused one of our sons to vomit quite badly several times even having to stop on their way back home to Alfreton in Derbyshire as they had been with us for the weekend for a family gathering. The 2 granddaughters had to wait for nearly an hour for their free ice creams I had to ask for several times. The my daughter in law requested the chicken with only potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with gravy, it came with all the veg. I requested chicken no gravy, guess what it was covered in gravy. We waited at least 20 minutes for ours after the others had been served and needless to say it was only warm. Considering it was not very busy we couldn't understand. They took the burgers off the bill and we had to request they take the service charge off. I had previously paid 2 drinks bills. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We live just down the road and use regularly but I don't think we will again. I would really appreciated a reply to this.

We walked in and Giuseppe met us and showed us to a table. We felt very welcomed. The food was great and tasty. We had a really positive experience. I had ordered the Korean BBQ Chicken which was so tasty but spicy and needed some sour cream to take the edge off. The Chef Neil made an alternative sauce which worked really well. I was really impressed and would definitely go again with friends and family. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Wow! What a find, pretty much on our doorstep! Four of us tried three courses and not one bad plate-in fact, the calamari was possibly one of the best versions of the dish we’ve tried. On top of that, service was polite and attentive without bring obtrusive. Plus they had Camden Pale Ale on tap (rare!). Will be back to try your cocktails and wines!

We held a baby shower event at Home Bar Ickenham this July and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue and service. We hired the small terrace area towards the rear of the venue and it was ample space for hosting a cocktail style event for around 40 people. We were able to move the chairs and decorate the area to make the space suitable for our requirements. The staff, including the manager, George, were exceptional. George and his team were extremely attentive and took great care of us to ensure we could host a successful event which everyone enjoyed. Nothing was too much to ask. They helpfully rearranged the area to suit our requirement’s, they helped manage the budget I had for the event, they offered to help with the set up and they ensured everyone’s glass was full! We could bring our own decor and play our music. I would highly recommend this venue for events. Honestly I did not expect to have such fantastic local service. Thank you to all of the staff at Home Bar, you were all brilliant!

Very good food in a pleasant, classy pub/restaurant. Excellent bruschetta, squid. Very good pizza. Pleasant service although the pizza came out quite a while after the other mains. We booked through TheFork app and got an absolute bargain on a Monday night. It was an enjoyable experience.

My wife and I went out at Home Bar&Kitchen and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was a dessert they had, chocolate doughnuts with cinnamon and caramel dip. We were delighted.

Trendy brasserie in Ickenham, quality drinks in a pleasant and comfortable venue. Lovely seated garden space with separated area for smokers and non-smokers. Heat lamps available on request. Friendly table and bar service available. Food available between certain times.

our regular place in ruislip for our roast and the kids fish and chips and we were huge fans but we were very disappointed today as i ordered the kids the Home breaded Cod Goujons but instead we were given just regular frozen fish fingers. not impressed to be tricked this was not the regular kids fish meal and because it was already cooked and my boys were hungry i didn’t say anything but didn’t appreciate being given something different from the menu and not being told about it. the staff were very friendly. but I left feeling my kids were fed junk.

Love this restaurant. Staff are lovely. Food is yummy and they have an excellent selection of wine, beer & cocktails. I also love the colourful outdoor seating area and the chicken wings are the best I've ever had!

A few friends and I went after having a send off for one of our dear friends and the two bouncers were quite rude to us, not to mention the prices are unjustifiable, I’m not leaving the comfort of my own home to deal with rude staff members and overpriced meals.

Great cocktails and bar staff, food was also ok! Overcharged at the end of the meal and the manager was called over and did refund us however didn't apologies for the inconvenience which seemed out of place.

Went there sat 25th Feb for a birthday get together,on the whole it seems a good place.Pizzas were lovely and heard good reports about meals BUT,the draught beer was terrible,they really need to learn how to look after the beers.Ranging up to £6.20 a pint,the quality of their draught beers was simply not good enough,not for the expensive prices.Shane.

Lovely place but was let down with what they called cheesey chips which was just a sprinkle of cheese over the chips

This place is fun, with tasty food, good drinks and lovely staff BUT after a £90 bill and still going home hungry you wonder whether it’s worth it. Either be prepared to spend a bit of money to eat properly (portions are small) or have a pizza ready when you get home. I did!

Menu for food was very basic and hard to choose something what do you really like. Cocktails average 8/10 . We are lucky it was happy hour. 2for1. The service was friendly.

Extortionate!!!!! They charge £3 for a pint of soda from the tap, so basically tap water with a bit of gas(not bottled). We thought we would support this local place so went as a family for a drink. We have 3 kids so normally costs 50p max for a lime and soda as most places don't charge for tap water with a bit of gas. Not this place! We got 2 pints, 3 lime and sodas and some peanuts and it cost us £30!!! THIRTY POUNDS.That's CRAZYYYYY! For basically 2 pints, a handful of peanuts, and some tap water you are looking at £30. It's appalling. I can happily say I will never come here again. Staff were friendly but wow the prices are crazy! It was practically empty on a Saturday night and I can see why.

Slow service, 27 minutes from arrival to receive first drink at table. Starters and main meals good, Pizzas hit and miss - 3 order, 1 good, 1 undercooked, 1 burnt (veggie option with gritty tomato paste?).Wine mark-up excessive and ladies toilets not cleaned for a long time. Overall experience disapointing for the cost, especially when they add a 12.5% service charge, with no option to decline...

Beware, Went here Christmas Eve and charging 12.5% service charge on every transaction regardless if you order at the table or the bar. They do not tell you and they insist that you should know as in their cocktail menu. No one knew about the service charge and no option to decline. Ripping off customers on the pretence of a service charge you should be ashamed of yourself People just thought it was dear as no mention at anytime of service charge Let people decide if they want to pay it don’t just add and tell no one Disgusting.

Amazing and Dog friendly restaurant. Went in the afternoon around 2-3 as was just passing by, food was nice, lovely place, great jazz music in the background and clean bathroom. some parking in the front. Outdoor seating space is nice and wide too would be nice in summer.

Nice cocktails, good service, the place is comfortable with a nice sized terrace, and the weekend nights you can even dance! I enjoyed.

The only thing going for it are the 2 for 1 cocktails until 9pm. The food is not good, I ordered the mushroom risotto and it tasted like a microwave meal. The atmosphere is odd - club music playing at 8pm whilst you're having dinner. Would only recommend for drinks.

We went a few weeks ago and I tried the vegetarian roast for the first time and honestly it was really really good!! It didn’t feel like it was an afterthought to the menu it felt just as robust and hearty as a typical meat English roast!! Really well made and portion was perfect!

We live in Eastcote, but have not found somewhere to call our local, we are now as far out as Ickenham. This was our first time at Home, bar and kitchen. We loved it from the ambience, to the food and wine, we had 2 roasts and a starter to share was more than enough food for us. very friendly staff, giving the place a relaxed and inviting atmosphere perfect to spend a Sunday afternoon in. We will definitely be back.

My first thoughts on entering this Bar and Kitchen was, looks a bit tired. However, although it looked ordinary, the service by Andrea was fast and friendly. The menu was limited in number but had variety. I ordered Ribeye steak, my wife ordered Steak burger and my son breaded chicken. I must be honest I was expecting an ordinary meal, but what surprise, the steak was perfect, the fries the best I have had in years. My wife and son were of the same opinion regarding their meal. Overall a great experience. Andrea was excellent, friendly and always smiling and the meal was well worth the money. If you are passing by, don't hesitate, give it a try.

Once able to get in, Food was good, we were very well looked after by staff. Security staff very rude and ignorant.!
