Disappointed..... On arrival looked dirty, like a messy garden storage area. In cafe staff chatty but hygiene was poor, girl with long dark hair standing behind counter with bright green/ yellow nail extensions was picking between her teeth and mouth then picking plates and using the till! Absolutely disgusting........ Really grubby low class feel to the place, Ashame as good outdoor space when warm weather, but won't return.

Wow…newly decorated tearooms really look great, even new outside furniture. The food was excellent, the lady sure does know how to make an excellent Eggs Benedict!! Service and staff so friendly, what a delight. Will be back very soon.

Not sure what is happening to this pub, think it maybe closing. On 3 consecutive weeks, I have taken my elderly parents for lunch, or tried, each time, a notice on door, "kitchen closed", the reason we have tried is that we have had splendid lunches before.Last Saturday, arranged to meet friends for a social drink, but the pub was completely closed. A wasted journey and very disappointed.Such a shame as this was a lovely local pub.

Best breakfast in Upminster Had a lovely breakfast today food good quality, well cooked and presented- tea comes in large teapots which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

This is probably the worst managed branch I have ever been in. The furniture is tatty and the environment is far from clean and welcoming. The staff have no interest and put more effort into upselling coffee blends and don’t listen to the orders, i requested an Americano but was given a latte..

Popped in for lunch. £10 for an absolutely awful Margherita pizza! Frozen pizza but got told only the base is frozen and they add the cheese and tomato and more cheese and more cheese. Took one bite; sent it back, complained and walked out. Bottle of water was nice though and ideal to take away because they don’t give you a glass. In fact they don’t give you a napkin of cutlery either unless you ask for it. With a handful of school kids in there, it seems to me that adults generally steer clear. I have no problem paying £10 and above for a good pizza but that isn’t what they are offering and it was insulting that they actually had the audacity to serve this to someone. I have also attached a photo of what a proper pizza looks like as they obviously don’t know
