Young girls more intressed in talking leaning all over the counter half cooked toast more foam than coffee even when told wet lattee rubbish shop 😑

Nice friendly staff, but the coffee shop would benefit from a refurbishment.

I visited Costa Coffee in Upminster and was truly impressed by the exceptional service from Shahla Sohail. Her friendly and professional attitude made my visit so enjoyable. She went above and beyond to provide great customer service, and I only wish we had such wonderful staff at my local Costa. A fantastic experience, highly recommended!

Myself and my wife didn't get to spend our money there as we lef I asked three times for the code to the toilet and was ignored one person standing around another person unbelievably slow I went and spent my money at the Nero

Shahla Sohail is a most delightful barista and a welcoming person. My favourite time of day!

I used to come here all the time, love it, Shahla is the one who is really good at flatewhite. Keep it up, cheers👍👍

Good coffee but the dirtiest Costa I’ve visited considering it’s a Sunday afternoon with little trade. Tables sticky and covered in sugar as is the floor which is also littered with serviettes,sugar wrappers etc. Two staff members were friendly and polite but made no effort to clean up whilst we were there. Not worth the 5*food hygiene rating on the door!

The staff are sometimes slow, it takes ages for a coffee. Most of the time, the tables, even though unoccupied, have trays on them. The staff are polite and work hard but I think the issue is mismanagement. Also, the food options are very poor. A lot of “all day breakfast” meals n various shapes, but no sandwich containing lettuce or tomatoes. Very few options for dietary restrictions.

Absolutely appalled of what i saw yesterday! Popped in yesterday, was queuing and there was a man with a ‘assistance’ dog who was so dirty and smelled, the lady making the drinks and handling food bent down to pet and play with the dog and let the dog lick her hands then stood up and carried on making the drinks and touching straws and plates without washing her hands

Was rather a messy place and food left on the tables and floor. Had to wait a while even when there was only one person in front of us. Asked what milk I wanted for my americano, and they said they had no semi-skinned and only skimmed, so that was a bit pointless asking me for a choice. First and last time will stop here. Shocking!! Costa would be embarrassed, I am sure.

Had a coffee in Costa in Upminster last week, was served by Al-Amin, he was polite, and very professional and the coffee was lovely. Next time I am shopping in Upminster I will definitely go back there for a coffee.

I’ve been a long time customer of both Costa Coffee stores in Upminster, but the experience today was frankly appalling. I did not recognise one member of staff and they didn’t appear to have a clue what was going on. I was prepared to cut the member of staff on the till some slack, as she seemed to be new to the job and figuring things out. But she subsequently misunderstood the order and I had to repeat the ask to another member of staff. The drink order took an inordinate amount of time, with only one barrista working the machine. The other staff stood around looking clueless, forgot the Bakewell Tart and offered no help. The same barrista then needed to step in and make the peach ice tea, which was frankly a cup of water that was barely shown the tea bag! I also saw unclean apparatus, a pileup of coffee bean grinds and the preparation area looked generally disorganised and dirty. We eventually received our order, but I won’t be retuning and will give my business to another establishment.

The decor needs upgrading it’s all very tatty

The size of the shop is on the small side which contributes the seating areas feeling quite compact and very close to the till. This causes you to feel like your in a rush and need to eat & drink quickly.

I would like to thank Yashi who I have found very efficient, competent and always has a smile on her face and the place is lovely to spend time

I just love all their services and management. They are very friendly, and the food is just delicious. I’m a big fan of Flat White coffee.

Always had lovely service in both stores in Upminster but today at 1pm the sandwiches were mostly gone, the millionaire short bread was all soft and warm so cooler needs to be looked into, no paper on the toilets and What happened to sofas? All the stuffing is coming out. Come on guys , with all the money you charge surely you can do better? Very disappointed We are in Costa for lunch or afternoon tea at least twice. Week but will have to look elsewhere until things imprive

I visited Costa Upminster 1 this afternoon and had a disappointing experience. The young blonde-haired girl made my latte extremely frothy, resembling a cappuccino. This is the third time this has happened, indicating a need for retraining. I hope this issue can be addressed to ensure better consistency in the future.

Lovely service from Ieva today. Her coffee was perfect. Running around serving everyone as quickly and carefully as possible. Poor thing was on her own

Whenever I visit costa small shop in Upminster there is barista who is working on every Tuesday morning I think at 7 am.Her flat white coffee is so nice and she handles the elderly customers in a best way.really appreciate!!!!

Kainat made our coffee this morning it was excellent and the temperature perfect. Took great care to make sure the cortado was presented in a manner with a leaf motif of quality and this was all done with a smile on her face

Really poor service, came in at bang on 5.30, the woman near the counter started to take my order, then another woman came from out the back shouting that they are closed no drinks. It was literally 1 drink and dead on 5.30. Zero flexibility and appalling customer service, the staff in this branch are really awful.

Quick & efficient on a cold morning !

Visited Upminster Station Road Costa yesterday and the staff are absolutely brilliant with the older customers. Spending time chatting to them, genuinely interested in them. Great Customer Service!

Not happy with the service. My costa app didn't update at their scanning point. And unfortunately they r short staffed and always busy. I bought the drink and they kept the reciept.

I had an excellent service from both Shahbaz and Flori. They are so welcoming and friendly I ended purchasing more than I wanted and they even gave me tips for the future. I'm really happy with this type of service clearly and example for all of the other Coffee shops. Thank you again for this amazing service

I just got served by Florinela and I honestly thought she’d mistaken me for somebody she knew she was so lovely! I’ve never had costumer service so good from anywhere. Went through the allergen menu with me and didn’t make me feel annoying for having an allergy. Lovely drink too. Give her a raise!!!!!

Never have any stock, went in today after getting a notification on app the Black Forest a available from the 19th for members to be told no we don’t have it. Went in a few weeks back after getting notification for discount on food to be told I couldn’t have it! Once I got them to call a manager he told them how to put it through. It really shouldn’t be this difficult

Staff were friendly, fast and helpful. Sandeep served us and he was a pleasure to deal with. Also they were continuously checking tables to make sure they were cleared and were polite when taking empty glasses away. Definitely would come back here. I only gave four stars rather than five because there’s hardly any vegan options but the service was a five.

Nice place, and up to 30 people can sit inside and around 8 outside the store. Customer service is very good. Peaceful place. Wheelchair access. Adjacent street parking is available, and there is also a private car park on the side street as well.
