Cafe Bueno in Havering

We recently had a small gathering on the second floor of the restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The waitresses were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was amazing, spacious, comfortable, and perfect for the celebration, I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again!

I had an English breakfast 🥞 this morning. It was well cooked and delicious. Very polite and friendly service.

We celebrated a 50th birthday at Cafe Bueno and can honestly say they went above and beyond so we felt compelled to give a review. The service was exceptional, constantly smiling and being personable, making sure we were all okay throughout the evening. Whatever we needed was given to us in rapid time, and by genuinely lovely people. Secondly, the food was some of the best in Romford- we ordered a delicious mixed grill and perfectly seasoned rice which every guest loved and would recommend it to anyone. The entire staff and owner were so amenable to any special requests given that it was a birthday party, and the cafe itself is perfectly spacious and clean, meaning every guest had an exceptional evening and we will definitely be coming back!!

I had an amazing party in Café Bueno. From the beginning to the end, service was impeccable, the atmosphere was wonderful and the food was delicious, the mix grill was perfectly cooked, and presentation was beautifully. Was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it for a party or special occasion.

Good local cafe. Good food and portions for the price. However I would say they need to be a bit more flexible with their menu. Not everyone wants chips! Especially if you want to eat healthy. They used to in the past but that's changed. Scrambled eggs also needs to be more scrambly. However on the whole good and will still visit. Probably even today! 😂

A lovely cafe in Romford with great food! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind. I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the full English breakfast with tea, and my boyfriend likes the chef special set 1. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice during the summer. The toilet is inside and was spotless. I would recommend!

I come to this cafe regularly and it has always been great. They have recently had a revamp in n their decor and it looks fab! Eggs royale was so lovely and fresh. Food was served quickly and was delicious!

Amazing service, I think her name was Leanne or could be Laura, Lorna or Lorraine (sorry I've forgotten! 😂) Food was great as well, catered for my fussy tastes with no problems and tasted great. Defo happy to go back!

Leanne was amazing good hospitality skills made me and my twins feel so relaxed. Food was amazing big potion sizes too, staff all had a beautiful smile and all staff very friendly. They were always asking if we were good. I recently visited Cafe bueno for the first time, and it was a great experience. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff immediately made me feel welcome. I tried their dish Chef 2, and it was delicious—fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared everything was perfection.They have a variety of drinks from hot/cold and even milkshakes. I'll definitely be back to try the Oreo Milkshake! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed, quality cafe. A special Thank you to Lianne for her amazing service!

This cafe is amazing. It has a variety of food options. Leanne made us feel so welcomed and was very polite. Food was delicious and portion sizes are massive. The atmosphere was very calming. I would definitely recommend to come here.

Disappointing and Unfair Policy at Bueno Cafe, Romford We had a very disappointing experience at Bueno Cafe in Romford. I went with my daughter and sister, and since I’m pregnant, we only wanted to order chicken nuggets and chips from the kids’ menu. The meal included a drink, but the staff informed us that only children were allowed to have the drink—not adults—even though the price was the same. If we wanted a drink, we would have to pay extra, which felt completely unfair. This policy wasn’t mentioned on the menu, and the way the staff handled the situation made us feel disrespected. It felt like discrimination, and the lack of customer care was shocking. We left feeling very disappointed and will not be returning. If they have such a policy, they should make it clear in writing rather than springing it on customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fair treatment and good service.

Food is so so, but the prices are diabolical, what a rip off, wouldn't recommend. £8.50 for beans on toast!!

Food not as good as it used to be, very poor quality. Cannot fault the service, very quick and friendly but tables were all too close so it was hard trying to get in and out.

Decently run restaurant. Large selection of dishes. Prices are OK. The food could use a bit more spice (mash and gravy tasted a bit bland)

Me and my boyfriend came here for some breakfast the service here was terrible. The people just told us to sit anywhere but other white people were seated and told where they can sit. Stares that we got were not great, it was evident that it was because we’re black. Stares from customers and also workers. Extremely hostile as well. Food was basic, would not return again.

I know how long it takes to cook a sausage. After 5 minutes of ordering, they give me my food. The sausage they gave me must of been reheated a few times. Solid crust in the slit they make to check it's cooked. I didn't eat it. They aren't a cheap cafe, so i expect everything cooked from fresh, which it clearly isn't

Scrambled egg on 2 toast £6.95!!!!!!! Extortionate, my local cafe £3.50. Coffee £3.50 my local cafe £2. small bottled water £1.80 my local cafe £1.20. Eggs were microwaved, not the best. Due to the piss take on prices, will not be visiting again, can see why it wasn’t busy. £10.45 for 2 microwaved scrambled egg on toast and small bottled water, disgustingly overpriced!

After a very successful business meeting went to have brunch. A quiet Tuesday. Gave order and politely requested no beans as I am slightly allergic to tomatoes and may I swap them for something else ? Yes if you pay came the stern reply. I politely repeated my request again, she refused , adding that you cannot change the set menu. Again was about to repeat when she ran off . A man came back sating that you cannot change the set menu . I gave up . Our orders arrived very dry and tough. As we finished the whole staff blocked the exit as if we were going to do a runner. It would have been impossible to have stopped us if we had wished too I can assure you. We have been before and it was very good but the lot they have now are useless. We paid with incredulity . When my group of men return to Romford we will not ever return as we attend , ( as we already have )the café opposite , the Divan . We will be giving Agincourt salutes to them as we all go for breakfast ,their loss big time! ! .

Lianne was very attentive. Took us upstairs to a quiet spot. All of the staff on this busy Saturday was working non stop. Nothing was too much for them. Very friendly place to be and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend

Roomy big cafe on Romford high street. Looks like it's family run ? Extensive menu & sandwich 🥪 board to sort you out for a quick bite to eat or a more detailed brunch / lunch depending on how hungry you are ? Tables are clean & tidy. Quick & friendly service with a smile. Your bog standard cafe menu here & you won't go hungry either. I only opted for a quick cheese burger 🍔 & chips with a drink which came to £9.45p to eat in so wasn't too bad. Filled a hole in my belly and off I went to the dog track. Can't complain & a fairly solid 3* for this eaterie.

Leanne was a fantastic waitress! She was warm, welcoming and accommodating as some of our group were in wheelchairs, she found us a spacious table right away so everyone could sit comfortably and get in and out with ease, without hindering anyone else. The food was wonderful, and very reasonably priced and came out super fast. Would definitely come again!

Nice cafe with a good range of cafe food. Staff very efficient and friendly. Turnover of customers quite high and staff able to cope and accommodate you.

Music was too loud , burgers was too small for £6, one male staff was staring for some reason ,food is mid in general. Dare you to reply how you did with the other people.

Coffe with milk £2.50. Toasted muffin with butter and marmalade they charged me £5. Absolute ripoff. £7.50.total and waited ages to get it. Way to expensive! Won't be going back.
