Costa Coffee in Havering

Jampacked, but... caramel nutcracker hot chocolate... HELL YES!

Small Costa. The choices are the usual. Often quite busy as located at the far end of the Brewery/ car park near TKmaxx. Service is ok. Quite loud. Not really a Costa where you can have business informal meeting. Clean and tidy. Just one customer toilet. During the summer or spring, seating outside is quite nice and calmer.

Fantastic, friendly, professional staff. I mean they pay attention to every detail that costumers ask for. They go extra miles.

2 days in a row ordered from this store on just eat received half cups of drinks when reordered I even wrote on notes and still came half empty and wrong chips when reported to just ear apparently this is a costa brand standard

Just being to Costa in Romford (brewery). The customer service was quick and fantastic. The woman behind the counter was kind and helpful. The frappé were delicious and the hot chocolate too. Would definitely recommend.

We came into this Costa today at roughly 5:25pm to get a quick coffee to take away and the door said this Costa closed at 6pm. Once we entered the cafe the 2 girls on shift told us that they would not be serving us as they were not open. I commented on the fact that on the door it stated it closed at 6pm. They replied to me saying that they still wouldn’t serve as the manager had specifically told them to close early as they had not hit their targets. This made absolutely no sense to me and seemed ridiculous. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone as this behaviour is ridiculous. After they refused to serve us we made our way to the other Costa down the road who very happily served us and was very polite so if your looking to go to a Costa don’t go to this one instead go to the other one down the road

Unfortunately, the server was new so got my order wrong. Tend to run out of stock here. Other than that, place is OK.

Not the best Costa. Quite slow and always a long queue especially in the morning. When I visited on Tuesday 4th June the toilets were out of order and in the disabled one there was leak under the sink. They had placed a bucket underneath which would of caused an obstruction to some disabled people and there was still lots of water all over the floor. Really dirty too

Had a Coffee and cake here ....met a friend that hadn't seen for a while for a catchup.... really like Costa coffee...was a bit noisy/busy but it is was it is.....

Horrible coffee and very expensive! I ordered medium latte, the cup was big but I couldn't taste the coffee. So if you like paying for coffee and getting glass of milk you should visit this place.

Horrible experience. 2 ladies in this branch refused to bring my order to the table while I had a newborn in a pushchair. Other branches treated people in a better way and immediately offer to bring the tray to the table to anyone with a pushchair. Disabled and nappy changing room had a sign that it was out of service, however staff members were using it to change. I then realised that it was not out of order and they put this sign so only they can use it and not customers.

Friendly and polite staff. Busy place most of the time which makes it really noisy and unbearable, soundproofing the place would be beneficial.

I think coffee got worse over the years 😫 don't enjoy it anymore , I also had a tuna sandwich, nothing special, really. I think the place is overpriced and won't be coming back . Staff, no problem, atmosphere 👌 next time Wetherspoon so much cheaper 😀

Not friendly stuff, long waiting , always dirty tables, very cold, dirty toilets.Dont revomment unless you do not have a near place to have a morning coffee.

I went yesterday on 11/10 around 1pm and bought 1 drink and Costa flask and the staff was so rude and inpatient. The First Lady was fine putting my hot chocolate through but second lady putting flask through was rude. The lady at the till kept telling me to wait before I scan my reward card, why not speak clearly and loud the plastic in between is stopping the noise! I will not be returning. She had such a nasty attitude.

Staff rude and impatient, like they couldn't be bothered. Tables and toilet filthy... so much for additional cleaning measures due to COVID-19! My ham and cheese toastie had some type of orange "meat" in it, that did not look or taste like any ham I have ever had before... awful! Will not be returning there again. Will stick to the Costa on A12 next to PC World - friendly staff, great service, clean premises with good food.

Just ordere x2 flat whites, delivery came with a cup of quite literally hot milk, didnt even taste like a coffee.... also the ammount is not that of flat white and the cupbsize wasnt even right. Absolutely terrible...

Twice now they have got my order wrong! Staff need to learn to read the order ticket! NOT HAPPY

Dont know what they are doing with the covid .. the staff should or do need training I am very concerned. FURTHERMORE if you want a quick coffee go to anywhere in Romford but this really slow costa. Staff prefer to talk amongst themselves even tho there was 2 people in the shop and 4 staff members.. dont waste your time for this branch!

If I had written this review a couple of years back it would have been a 5 star review. Unfortunately a new manager has taken over, and service has seriously diminished. The manager has no fear in being rude, and treating loyal customers as an inconvenience, and anything challenging or off menu is a major issue. The new staff and manager can not seem to cope with taking more than one/two drinks at a time, and the drinks are often not completely filled. I am often in there with my family and we order 5 drinks; we are normally welcomed with rolled eyes and the queue ends up backing up. The few original staff are still fantastic, but are obviously caught up with a manager whom doesn't care and is purely profit driven. Costa customer service as normal is always willing to listen, but this is not the first incident my family and I have had with the new manager.

Ordered an earl grey tea and it was disgusting. Wont be returning ill stick to starbucks for my tea. Over all its a nice place.

Asked for a medium hot chocolate but half of the drink was missing , I believe they have given me a small but in a medium cup and I am not happy

Perfectly placed coffee shop to pop into to have a coffee ad a snack. Both were tasty and hot which was nice.

I always love to have chai tea latte from Costa when i way to my office. Enjoy my walk. Service is good and fast so when you running late for office and need coffee, stop by a costa cafe

They were busy, three ahead of me, and I had to wait in line for what seemed like ages. I ordered an Americano which they spilt into the saucer and didn't wipe it clean. The flavour was the usual Costa effort which I enjoyed. They seemed short staffed as some of the tables were left with used cups and plates and weren't cleared and bits of dropped food was still left on the floor. Not one of Costa's best

Stopped for a quick coffee break with my sis in love on my visit to UK, lady who took our order was very sweet and friendly. Coffee was yum yum as usual, always so at Costa’s, lady who made coffee for us needs to learn to smile at clients 😜. Had slice of carrot cake which was delicious.

I have been using the independent coffee shops in the town and in particular the one next to McDonalds in the Liberty so called in to Costa today and they are now charging almost £3 for a large cappuccino 60p more than most and almost £1 compared to McDonald’s which is equally as good. This may explain their recent decline in sales

I frequently use Costa Coffee and know how busy they get but when you are being served and food is heated on my tray and the coffee still not made I think trying to figure out the till entry is not good. I had to have my food reheated but got my coffee. This store needs a refresher is customer service and training when menu changes.

On arrival there was 1 member of staff working the till and making the coffee's even though there were another 3 members of staff hovering in a room through the back - this drives me nuts as they all came out to see how busy it was and then went straight back in the room. Come on guys help your colleague and make your customers happy. Had to ask for the table we sat at to be cleaned. Drinks and snacks good when I eventually got them

El problema que tengo con este particular costa no es el lugar en sí, sino algunos de los clientes que frecuentan el establecimiento.Parece ser un lugar para determinados grupos de hombres para que algunas de las mujeres incómodas. Aparte de eso, la conexión es buena, el inodoro puede llegar a ser un poco desordenada pero el personal son capaces.

Visité este Café Costa con mi hija en la ley y nieta. Había mucho espacio en el parque para graduaciones, nos las arreglamos para conseguir dos sillas muy cómodas para sentarse en el brazo y esto lo fácil que sostenga al bebé. El café era bueno como siempre, y sin duda volveré

This is a typical Costa coffee shop but the staff are friendly and fast and the place is always clean

I pop in here frequently, there's a nice atmosphere and there is usually somewhere to sit. I always ask for my drink to be made hot otherwise I can usually drink it down in one. I'd recommend having a toasted tea cake, you can pay extra for jam if you want it. Why didn't I give 5 stars? Sadly, in ccommon with nearly all other Costas the seats are grubby and I have changed chairs sometimes in an effort to get a cleaner one. Also, there are frequently groups of 3 or more people with only 1 having a drink and the others simply occupying seats. I think that Costa needs to limit the amount of time people can choose to sit in the cafe without buying a drink.

nice friendly place good coffee good company what else do you need... plenty of snacks to choose from .. its a little pricy but well worth it ...

Visited this Costa while in Romford. I say here with my daughter in law and my new granddaughter. We stayed here drinking coffee and tea for over two hours, we were not rushed or asked to leave so it was a good place to catch up for a chat.

Visited here with family on a day trip to Romford, I love Costa and this branch certainly didn't let the side down. Very clean and spacious, very polite and friendly staff. Well worth a visit, good meeting place for friends and family
