Costa Coffee Upminster 2 in Havering

1 member of staff in the whole store rushed off her feet

The place was not clean and there were a lot of flies. When I asked for a cup of mango, I saw flies standing on the cup. When I asked for a different cup, the waitress changed it, but her face looked annoyed and dissatisfied.

Someone should sanction both Costas in Upminster. Almost all their products are expired. Sandwiches and croissants, chocolate twist etc. Today the gentleman wanted to open a new pack of almond croissant and it was expired 2 days ago. I told him and he apologised. But this happened to often.

Went in twice this week and poor boy was all on his own with a very long queue of people, but did amazing. Costa really need to get him some help!

Coffee looks good, looks nice, but cold, food always stale, there always seems to be friends of staff distracting them.

These 2 Costas have NEVER been the same since Farris and his excellent staff went. They were absolutely amazing, he was on top of everything. These shops are dirty .. or a nice place to eat . Needs to up its game

Staff are always welcoming. Coffee can be a bit hit and miss, guess it's down to the barrister. It's a shame it will be torn soon to make way for a hotel!

Came for a job interview and was served a delicious coffee and toastie by the friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the café too.

think this is one of the best Costa Coffee outlets in the Havering area of outer London. It is run with super efficiently and a lot of care is taken to meet any special requests such as extra hot etc etc I do not know how long the young lady whose name i understand is Valentina has been at Costa but she certainly seems to be very experienced.She stays calm and organised even when it is very busy. I like to give praise where praise is deserved and she certainly deserves it. She has the perfect manner for dealing with the public and makes the minimum fuss about it. A credit to Costa ! Her colleagues are very good too and no doubt are recipients of good advice from Valentina. Thank you Paul

It was extremely busy which I understand but the service was poor and the prices are awful. I waited in the queue for 20 minutes just to buy a road tie for my lunch and i paid £4 to wait a total of half an hour. There were 3 people working a lunchtime rush on a Saturday and the staff were rude and unprepared entirely. I am extremely disappointed!

Relaxed atmosphere,music could be a little quieter,but overall a pleasant experience ..... My friends and I were particularly impressed with the two girls serving who greeted us with warm smiles and were efficient and professional .unfortunately though the staff never seem to stay very long and some previous employees haven't been as friendly or efficient and sometimes as a result we reluctantly go elsewhere....let's hope these girls will be encouraged to stay! Good staff are hard to come by these days !!!

Overall good but my latte was made with skimmed milk when I wanted Semi skimmed, the queue was too big to take it back. The staff are friendly.

Coffees are always so great and the staff are so friendly whenever we visit! Not to mention how clean and tidy the shop always looks.

This store is our regular go to Costa. Whilst the shop itself is a little ‘tired’ the environment is relaxing and friendly. The staff are all friendly and mean well. Weekends is our usual visiting time, there have been some new staff being trained so obviously need a little more time to develop. If the new starter Rachel is anything to go by then the future is bright. Helpful polite hard working has time for the customers.
