Plough in Havering

Since this Cranham local Pub has been taken over, there have been several landlords/landlady's. But unless you use the place on a Friday or Saturday the atmosphere can be hit or miss, there has been quite a turn over of staff over the last few years, and generally speaking they have been a mixed bag of good and bad, its only saving grace for me is the proximity to my home and the fact the prices are below average having said that they don't manage the beer stocks very well, I often can't get my proffered choice.

I’ve drunk lager here for many years, friendly staff and punters. A no frills place that is reasonably priced with comfortable seats.

This pub has got much better, atmosphere and everything, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 7 quid for two fosters, friendly foxes and everything 😀

I watched a West Ham game in here with a few friends, three pints came to just over £10, so good value. The atmosphere was also good, especially as West Ham had won 😄

A locals pub, best value in the area (and for quite some way!) for grabbing a few beers. Friendly staff. Plenty of space. Decent outdoor seating area. Always a variety of sport on the screens. I pop in a couple of times a week for an after work refreshment! 🍺

Giving 1 star as it's ridiculous they have very loud live music on weekends that I can hear down the road till nearly midnight! It's illegal as it's after 11 and definitely over the noise limit and inconsiderate to people in the area who are trying to sleep.

Great atmosphere and staff worked really hard to keep pulling pints for hundreds of West Ham fans watching the European Cup Final. Well done.

Good honest local boozer. Not remotely posh or middle class! Lots of locals but there won’t be silence and tumbleweed if you’re not a regular- unless you are wearing a Spurs top! 🤣 lots of big screens and shows the Premiership games and big rugby games - primarily West Ham supporters. You can’t get a decent glass of wine or prosecco, but for draught/ bottled beers & cider and spirits you will struggle to get better prices anywhere. Good sized beer garden and a pool table. The landlord does a cheesy but fun karaoke every Saturday night with a few regulars who sing really nicely.

Popped in the plough with my son ,what a pleasure, the cheapest pint for miles ,excellent service.good seating and easy atmosphere, will be in there again ,xmas day if I have my way.

Warm and friendly people we didn't eat here but we enjoyed sitting and having a few drinks, they had football on but the volume was down, we will come in here in the future to try some food and the best part is its dog friendly

Now the public house has recently had a make over, it has changed the atmosphere into a great pub with some good real ales.

The service at the bar was quick. However i have been in there a few times to play a game of darts and was told im not allowed to play darts if i dont buy a drink. I have played darts in a few different pubs without buying a drink and they never had a problem with it except the The Plough in Cranham

Great local pub large beer garden all sports on several tv's children's play area. Live music entertainment most weekends. Great food at great prices,full menu to suit all tastes. Would recommend a visit to see this great treasure of a pub

I'd give it a 0 star rating for food if I could. Food is over prices. The chef ain't no chef. The chicken pasta dish came out and the pasta was hard like it had only been cooked for 10 minutes. Even if u reheat pasta it don't taste that hard. I asked the chef for a new one, he was rude, I told him the pasta was hard and he argued with me, saying he's a chef and he knows what he's doing lol. The reason I'm giving it a star is because I have to. Tbh the beer was cold so that's a plus

Great pub lots of TVs for the football. Quick polite service at the bar. Nice beer garden with wine bar. There was a family dj in the garden. Enjoyed my visit today. Didnt have time to eat there so i can't give 5 stars. But a really friendly decent pub!

Visited for lunch today, following a strong recommendation for their fresh fish dishes. Delicious choices and quite an extensive menu of pub favourites and more imaginative creations. Casual but very enjoyable eating

I went for lunch today and everything was great. The menu was extensive, with all the great British favourites but with a modern twist. All the staff were lovely, warm and inviting. The chef told us he worked in a top London restaurant in the past and it shows. Great food and fantastic prices. I want to go again very soon and work my way through the menu. Highly recommended.

Great family pub with fantastic entertainment every weekend. There is a lovely large pub garden with swings and climbing frames for the kids. All televised football and sports shown on several tv's. Wonderful place for socialising

Recientemente fui a este pub para mis amigos sorpresa padre fiesta y fue genial.Tenían una barbacoa en el jardín de la cerveza un castillo hinchable y un tobogán para los niños fue maravilloso que podíamos ver a mis hijos jugar y aún tener un ojo en ellos.También es agradable que el pub tiene una política de niños en los que los niños están permitidos en allí hasta 8.En general es un maravilloso pub, hacen buena comida y el personal del bar son encantadores, así que si alguna vez vas a visitar la barredorabuena Upminsterbromas ambiente agradableAh se me olvidó mencionar que no tienen Sky sports y los viernes y los sábados hay música en vivo y un poco de karaoke

Enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner at the plough today with all the trimmings and good portions, with hubby and two stepdaughters, highly recommend the food there. Also lovely garden in the summer and lunch menu is great. Looking forward to next visit .

A good friendly locals pub. Glen and Denise run the Plough as a good pub for locals. If you go there when a West Ham match is on the TV it will be very crowded, but at other times they have time to offer a warm welcome to everyone - and the garden is great in the summer!!

Lacks any atmosphere... Feels like a TV / Furniture showroom more than a pub.
