Excellent coffee shame for limited sitting areas

Hidden gem of a pub. Short walk from Victoria, full sports coverage, good drink offers, and a pool table. Couple this with the very nice food menu, and you've got a winner. Will be back for those wings!

We used to visit years ago, and its nice to return after a while and see that Czech beers are back on offer. Good atmosphere, pleasant service and clean bathrooms on Thursday night at 9pm. We will surely return. Shame we did not have time to stay for the drag show. Perhaps next time.

Brilliant evening of live music at this lovely venue. The Gamble White Band are a fantastic talented bunch who thoroughly entertained The venue is cozy and intimate and the staff were reaponsive, welcoming and attentive. Thanks all for a great evening.

The club sandwich is to die for !! I’m always walking around the forest so it’s a great reward afterwards! Dog friendly as well so 10/10 for me ! Friendly staff !

Amazing food Really nice coffee shop and a very warm environment On Sunday have a lovely service church, and everyone is welcome

2 stars for the food ; waitress failed to concentrate when taking our order as it was incorrect . Minus another star for the shocking noise in there when it’s busy - can’t hear yourself speak it’s like a kid’s playground (due to the low ceiling?) . Minus another star as a criticism of the owners definitely not taking note of how ridiculously short - and I mean it (!) the teenage waitresses wear their skirts. I’m not a prude, but one girl’s short skirt on the day we visited may just as well been a belt - the tall girl with the long wavy fair hair could barely bend over to serve the food . That sense of dress should be for her own social life , certainly not for waitressing - it’s a deterrent for decent customers. Please would Old Village Cafe management install a set of high standards for staff attire as I think it’s unprofessional and unattractive to be exposed to someone’s future laundry basket contents .

Their sandwiches are out of this world! So good!! Staff lovely as well and friendly

Excellent service and a very interesting selection of wines

This is about the gin and tonic £15.95 for a Monkey 47. Bought to me with not much ice, had to pour my own tonic, tonic was warm - not chilled. Tasted like I made it at home, clumsily. Underwhelming, over priced.
