Lovely warm welcome from Hannah and Lisa ( hope that is right ! ) Delicious home made sausage roll, cheese scone and chocolate brownie to go with our coffee and tea. Very reasonably priced.

We are travelling in a camper van & booked one of the 2 free parking spaces, for campers, at the pub. The free space allows for water filling and disposal of rubbish. The free space is a trade off for having a meal there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Service, on a busy Saturday night, was still spot on. The meals are a high standard pub food menu. Ingredients are good and quantity likewise. Glad we stayed there.

An old traditional pub as they used to be, the heart of a beautiful small Suffolk village. If you like a genuine rustic atmosphere then this is for you, can't be many pubs like this left anywhere. Food was excellent and the kid's burgher would satisfy most adults. For a small pub a good choice of beers with some cask ales on 'tap'. Huge garden or alternatively some family games available inside, dogs are welcomed. If you are near Middleton the Bell Inn is a must.

But breakfast at the Tea Shed was a great consolation. Lovely garden, peaceful village centre, some amazing breakfasts, from the full English to my French Toast, a great experience and highly recommended. Thanks to the kind and attentive staff, brilliant end to a lovely local weekend.

Decided to go to Sizewell for a change. We always go to Southwold or Dunwich but why not Sizewell? Why, indeed? The beach is gorgeous, not many people around, the water isn't quite as brown as further up the coast. Easy to park, and with a lovely little Café that served the best Scampi and chips I've had in a long time. Just because of the power station, I think k people give it a wide berth....don't know why! We will definitely be back.

The Duck is one of our favourite places to eat in the Woodbridge area. Like the other pubs owned by Vernon Blackmore, the food is both exciting and delicious. Our last visit was in December when we enjoyed an excellent confit duck main. My dad had the pheasant, which he thoroughly enjoyed too. Service was efficient and friendly as usual. Highly recommended.

Lovely welcome and good flat white. Only issue is with outdoor seating - two fairly large tables with one couple on one and a singleton on the other. We had a dog so sat in the square as neither party prepared for us to join. Would be brilliant to have 4 smaller tables we thought - would help the issue!

A bit less pretentious and showy than places in the square but good basic fare at reasonable prices. Great coffee. Bacon roll is colossal. Fab doughnuts. Can't really understand the reviews that say the staff are poorly trained or unfriendly. They aren't gushy or have-a-nice-day ish but I go in regularly and find them welcoming and helpful. Very good WiFi as well.

My husband and myself visited for lunch in February, we arrived just before 12 and were pleased we did as there weren’t many free tables as it is a popular place. Our order was taken really quickly and we did not have to wait long for our order. I had a toasted cheese sandwich and my husband had a sausage bap and cheesy chips. I also had a banana split. The food was good, the staff really friendly and efficient and I can see why the place is so busy.
