Ordered halloumi bagel and salad for lunch. They looked and tasted like a meal that my reluctant teenagers had been asked to make. Cakes looked better.

Called in for a late lunch/sandwich. Good variety on menu, friendly staff. Only given 3 stars as the sandwiches we had were served with salad flooded in balsamic vinegar which really spoilt it. The ciabatta soaked it up too. It wouldn't stop me trying their food again, but I know now to ask for it without balsamic.Cakes looked good & drinks were fine.

Lovely little cafe in Framlingham village, walking distance from the castle. Has an unusual mix of food, very Deli and lots that is vegan and vegitarian friendly, but even my fussy teenager found something and enjoyed it. Home cooked food and very friendly staff who will adapt the menu to suit any requirements. There are only a small number of tables inside and outside, and no toilets, but the public ones are free and just around the corner (2 mins away)

I would just like to give praise to the Dancing Goat Cafe in Framlingham. I meet up with some friends periodically at the Dancing Goat Cafe on account of its location. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the service is always exemplary. May I suggest that you try their halloumi and avocado bagel. It truly is an amazing experience.

It’s also nice to go to a Cafe where you are actually sold a cold drink that is actually cold and refreshing the only way to serve a drink!! We will be coming back soon. Thank you. The Scott’s

We went for a coffee and a sausage roll each. Very nice. I had a small cappuccino but wish I had remembered to ask for just 1 shot of coffee as it was a bit too strong for me, but no matter. The sausage rolls were delicious and made that morning. We could tell they were fresh before we were told that. We will be back to Framlingham, when the Castle is open and will no doubt pop in here again.

Awful place. Worst cake I've ever had. Supposed to be coffee and walnut cake but it didn't taste of coffee and the icing tasted off and left me feeling sick. We sat outside. Table was dirty. We visited for lunch after a brief trip to Framlingham Castle. The cafe is approx 5 minutes walk from the main car park at Framlingham Castle, situated in the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly and our lunch arrived quickly. We ordered 2x Smoked salmon bagels and a goats cheese ciabattta with a couple of chocolate shakes and a fruit smoothie. Hands down the best ciabatta I've eaten for a long time. The bagels looked equally appealing. Chocolate shakes were delicious and had a generous helping of ice cream with them which helped us to stay cool in the heat of the day. All very reasonably priced, think we paid £30 for all of the above and would happily pay it again. Highly recommended.

I visited Framlingham on Saturday 17 August with my able sister. I parked on the Market Hill on double yellow lines as no other spaces were available - as Blue Badge holders are legally allowed to do. As a disabled person, who finds it very difficult to walk (as I have little or no cartilage in my spine and am awaiting major surgery) I need to park near to or outside where I am going.....this I did. We were only 65 minutes which included a quick coffee at the Lemon Tree Bistro (which has very good facilities and a toilet!) - the only reason we avoided the Laughing Goat was that they have NO TOILET! (I thought it was illegal for an eating and drinking establishment to not have a toilet?)

A cute, cozy cafe ideally located in the central market square area. Only a 5-10 min walk down the road from Framlingham Castle (which is also well worth a visit).Limited seating indoors (no more than 18-19 places), and more offered seating outside however. Lovely, attentive staff served us on the day. I and my companion ended up sharing a pot of tea for 2 (as it was a wee tad cold outside), over a meal of beetroot / feta burger and salad each. Although no break rolls/buns were served with the beetroot burger, which I found a little odd, the burger itself was really good - I could easily have had a second one without feeling guilty in the slightest! Later, this was followed up with a slice of traditional and tasty carrot cake for me, and my companion opted for a slice of the rather delicious and moist Hummingbird cake (i.e pecan nuts, banana and pineapple). All in all, our meal cost us less that £20 for the 2 of us - pretty good I dare say!

Excellent place to sit outside. Great coffee and great entertainment; watching the market, listening to the saxophone player and generally watching the world go by!

Always busy, this small quirky café looks out onto the Market Square and is perfect for people watching. The staff appear amateur in the nicest way, though there were some difficulty in ordering you would think they would notice when only one of two people at a table was served. They seem to know all their regulars and the establishment seems very popular with local people.Shame there is no loo, but there’s the one in the Crown that they are willing for anyone to use (An example of the fantastic local kindness). They cannot deal with credit cards, cash only!

We go here when we want to enjoy a pot of tea and a panini outside, watching the market (Tuesday and Saturday) or just the world passing by.Good service and friendly staff.

Stopped here for coffee and a takeaway. The menu is limited but the food was excellent. They were experiencing lots of hornets which spoiled the experience. They could easily have put some wasp catcher vases outside.

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

We always come for a walk to the dip when visiting family , a great spot to sit and have coffee and cake and look out to sea , today I had one of the homemade cheese scones it was one of the best I have ever eaten , whatever the weather always a great establishment for a warm welcome and delicious fair, great ice creams in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter .
