The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Harpenden West St Albans East of England

As ever the Thompsons Close cafe team have looked after us with their friendliness and warm and kind atmosphere. An oasis of peace in a busy world.

We found this coffee shop thanks to the sign in the alley way . We came in through the side gate to a lovely garden space. Then headed inside where there are a couple of tables tucked away. We ordered 4 drinks and sweet and savory baked goods from what was available on display. The savoury scone was delicious and the peanut butter cookie cup was amazing. Great for a catch up over coffee.

We opted for here last minute on Valentine’s Day for a late lunch . Went for the special of chateaubriand which was good . Buzzy atmosphere and good staff engagement . Thanks to Emma, Michael, Jada and Valon fir a lovely afternoon

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch with friends. Great roast beef and beautifully cooked vegetables. Lovely wine and staff were great

First time visiting the Harpenden Arms but certainly won’t be our last had Sunday beef roast dinner which was delicious the staff were fantastic and very attentive

One of the best fish and chips, Sunday roast pork belly also amazing

Reasonably large store with standard Costa products. Plenty of seating.

Lovely pub, not tried the food.

We have visited this Costa a few times now and the coffee is always nice and freshly made. The only thing we didn't like was on this occasion a dog was allowed to sit on a seat with an elderly couple and keep it's head on the table. We find that very unhygienic and decided not to get any food. Surely if dogs are allowed keep them on the floor.

Good little coffee shop, I visit regularly as I have Octopus rewards but I do buy coffee too as I like the shop . Sat down for a flat white coffee today all was good . Busy but I managed to get a table .staff were excellent tables were clean
