We found this coffee shop thanks to the sign in the alley way . We came in through the side gate to a lovely garden space. Then headed inside where there are a couple of tables tucked away. We ordered 4 drinks and sweet and savory baked goods from what was available on display. The savoury scone was delicious and the peanut butter cookie cup was amazing. Great for a catch up over coffee.

Visited a few times now and we had very nice coffee and flapjack, dogs are allowed and the owner is very friendly. Definitely a must if you want to go somewhere quieter.

What a pleasure to be served a coffee with such passion and an amazing environment! Sure the space lacks the size of other coffee shops in the area but Lily make it grow with her persona and genuine care for both café and it’s guests! Thank you Lily for your amazing work!

If you are ever in need of a quick and cozy stop-off and coffee then Eight Ounces is the place to go. It's tucked inside Purple (clothes store) so please don't miss it! All the teas and coffee are delicious and insanely affordable, the music is bright and energizing, the furniture, decor, and vibe is warm and inviting and the cake selection is moreish. Can't recommend Eight Ounces enough and Lili is sure to make your stay an unforgettable one.

The best pub for a roast in Hertfordshire—never disappoints! We went for a Mother’s Day meal and were welcomed with complimentary Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The trio roast was great value, and despite the pub being fully booked, the food quality remained exceptional, as always. Highly recommend!
