The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North Hertfordshire East of England

The food is always on point, the baps and the sweet treats are 10/10. My only complaint sadly is recently, going on a weekend has become very busy with small children/babies so it can get LOUD, and doesn’t exactly give you the best atmosphere when trying to enjoy your breakfast/lunch after a long working week! Especially for the price, if you’re spending £30 pp for brunch to then be subjected to babies crying etc… doesn’t exactly make you feel relaxed. Which is a shame, as I do love this cafe and think the chefs are very talented, I just don’t love the recent demographic it’s attracted… maybe I’ll try and visit during non peak hours

Stylish and cozy interior. Food was perfect; I would highly recommend the Dauphinoise. Very much enjoyed the seating being able to watch the chef’s put together the tasty dishes too. Well worth the money.

Came in for food this afternoon and the new trainee Zack served me, who was very helpful and seemed to be picking things up quite well! Food was delicious as always, lovely vibe at the bar

Fabio's is the perfect spot for a Sunday treat with the kids! I took three children for ice cream, and we were all impressed by the wide selection of flavors and the incredibly fresh taste. The lovely weather made it ideal for grabbing our cones and strolling around town. The staff was quick and efficient, which is essential on a hot summer day when the shop is buzzing with customers. Overall, Fabio's is definitely a great choice for a family outing—highly recommend it!

New menu, new staff, absolutely delicious. While waiting for food to arrive were given mini canapes, very nice. Waiter Daniel extremely pleasant and very good at his job.

The ambiance and quirkiness was wonderful and the cakes we had where good but oh the coffee. I ordered a cafetiere for one and was actually gobsmacked to see the server pour coffee from the filter machine into the cafetiere, the coffee had obviously been standing for some time judging by the taste. My wife did not believe me, so I attempted to find coffee grounds in the bottom of the cafetiere. Will not be visiting again.

I had lunch here today and for a start don't think the food is as nice as it used to be just a year ago and nowhere near the same variety. The other thing is I don't know what's happened to those lovely old friendly staff who used to smile at me and have a chat with me and couldn't do enough for me and it always used to be such a lovely atmosphere and a cafe I could totally rely on whenever I was in town but now it just seems to have been taken over by sulky looking students where one of them today I thought was quite rude because all I did was ask for some jam to go with my scone but this young girl bought me a jar of marmalade instead and I said to her excuse me but could I have some jam please as this is marmalade and instead of being apologetic as you'd normally expect she instead said. "Well isn't it the same thing it's just that it's orange",but in a sarcastic way I thought not even in a fun jokey way then said staff finally went to get me some jam and then she gave it to me and gave me a really dark look as though I'd really inconvenienced her and then walked off which is not what you'd expect as a customer and very poor customer service I thought and a world away from the old staff who used to be there and who always made my experience of visiting this cafe such a joy. Such a shame it's changed hands or I'm assuming that's the case so will now think twice about going in there for my lunch again which is so sad as this used to be my favourite cafe in Letchworth and I was always in there most days and have always been a regular customer here for years. 😕

I saw they'd had a change of owner, so dropped in for lunch. The food was very good - a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich lives or dies on the quality and quantity of the ingredients, and this didn't disappoint. The flat whites were excellent, and the service was efficient, warm and welcoming. Prices were reasonable too. Recommended!

Poor quality weak tea. Got charged £2.95 when I told them the tea was weak and requested stronger. Staff and management require training.

Wow the food was delicious, best nut roast I have ever had. My friend had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries, tried some, we both agree best veggie burger we have ever tasted and she isn’t a vegan! Kept me full all afternoon and night! We will def be back!

Had breakfast here and it was just lovely. The outside of this place may not looking appealing but this is a nice little find. Welcoming staff and prices are very reasonable. Thumbs up from me 👍

This has now changed hands. The new team are Sikh and have brought an absolutely brilliant alternative to the usual ‘indian’(Bangladeshi) cuisine available in town. I cannot rate it highly enough
