A great cafe, I've never had a bad meal there and the staff are always friendly. I do wish there was some heating in the winter for the customers.

Reasonable food and pleasant service, sausages good quality and everything cooked nice. Kids were very happy with everything apart from the OJ! Needs changing that...

Lovely friendly owners, i went with my grandad who is a regular, and i can see why. I requested my bacon to be very well done they cooked it to perfection. Nothing seemed too much to ask. Cannot wait to go back.

Really disappointed... horrible breakfast

Me and my partner came here for the first time today for an early Sunday breakfast. The staff, especially who I think was the owner was very friendly and chatty. The food was nice we will be back 😊

This place is really good, we have become regulars and go most weekends. The food is really good and Oz and his staff are really friendly.

Decent breakfast well cooked and served, it is a bit overly priced.

Cracking cafe not far from the station

First time visit on Thursday 2 March 202 food was spanking hot, spat sausage in front my son and his wife. Burnt my tounge. Food and service amazing. Good prices. I can see why my son eats regular there.

The best full English breakfast I have had for a very long time. All good quality ingredients, plenty of it and most importantly, perfectly cooked. Nothing burnt, runny yolks etc, absolutely brilliant. Very tasty, and all in a nice welcoming environment.

**UPDATED** NOW TAKING CARD PAYMENTS All my colleagues at work were raving on about how great the food is at Hitchin Hitchin, so one lunch time I joined them in trying it. I was not disappointed. Didn't have to wait long for our take away orders, which were still hot on returning to work. Fair sized portions, at a good price. Recommended!

Food was hot and cooked well but pretty expensive £10.50 for what was essentially a regular size fry up with lots of beans

Ossie and his staff go above and beyond to give you a wonderful experience at his fabulous cafe. I brought a disabled friend and he created a ramp so my friend could join us for brunch. Food is delicious, cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you haven't been yet you must go,you won't be disappointed Miss Sharon

For a Northerner, like myself, it's pricey. I was made to feel welcome, appreciated and at home. The food is a cut above the average greasy spoon.

I would say the Fridge in the Cafe is very dusty/ and the walls in the cafe need a wipe down, few stains on walls.

There are many cafes in the area but we come specially to this cafe food is exellent value and very well presented staff are very freinfly and make us very welcome would recommend this cafe to anybody 5 star rating

They use the same utensils to prepare vegan meal and bacon on the same grill, and the same knife, and cooking tools, they said that they cant separate the meals. Regardless of your choice, or complete disrespectful and ignorance acceptance from the staff towards my choice of eating vegetarian meal.

Clean cafe and reasonable prices .

Good honest ‘Caf’, friendly staff, quick service, clean. Does good breakfasts, lunches, teas, coffees, snacks and is quick walk to the Train station.

Had a large full English Breakfast which was really lovely and well cooked. I would most definitely recommend this place. Staff are pleasant and the food arrived very promptly.

We came here with high expectations and were not disappointed! Everything was hot , tasty, and brought out swiftly . Delicious omelette with beans and chips, and Full English breakfast, which included a drink and toast. Just the job!

Fabulous cafe serving clean and fresh food always hot and staff are great at making you aware of deals and what's included with set meals etc.

Great place for straightforward, no frills food. Generous portions, speedy service, it’s the ideal spot for a morning after refresh. Plentiful breakfast options from poached egg on toast to full English and good lunch choices ranging from baked potatoes, lasagne to traditional roasts. They also have herbal teas. Excellent value for money.

I love this cafe you are always made to feel welcome and it is a lovely relaxing place even though its busy. The food is fantastic and great value. As for the staff they are the best. They are always friendly and you would be hard pushed to get better service anywhere else. Highly recommended.x

Ok . Working man's cafe type food. Pricey!!!

We were a group of 6. I Had one of the set breakfasts today, everything was delicious and the portion was huge! Probably should have left some of it...the coffee was ‘proper’ coffee and the bread/toast was lovely and fresh- not just sliced white bread. Service was friendly and efficient and the cafe was clean. The loyalty card gets you a free breakfast after 8 visits (providing you buy a set breakfast)

It's a typical working man's cafe. No frills. Food is ok. Staff are friendly enough. I saw a kid in his pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers with his dad having breakfast in there. Prices are reasonable enough.

Love this cafe. It is not posh place but always they welcome customers with big smiles and serve GOOD breakfast and sandwich etc. Amazing for breakfast and lunch time. Can not go wrong.

Always love coming here for breakfast, staff are always very friendly & welcoming. The set breakfasts are great value especially as they include tea/coffee & toast. The food is always top quality with generous portion sizes - I’ve never left still hungry! The cafe is always incredibly clean & service is quick & friendly.

Popped in for the first time for a sandwich and coffee. Sandwich was made with lovely fresh, crusty bread and filling was generous. Coffee very nice. The staff are friendly and very courteous.

Really good food and the black coffee it's really strong and tasty. We been there lots of times, they open early on Sunday's.

Loved it. Great place for breakfast/lunch 7 days a week with fast and a friendly service. Bonus was portion size being more than enough - I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
