Cafe Valeriya in North Hertfordshire

Had breakfast here and it was just lovely. The outside of this place may not looking appealing but this is a nice little find. Welcoming staff and prices are very reasonable. Thumbs up from me 👍

My local cafe for work, so I've tried many of the things on the menu, and am never disappointed. From simple stuff like decent poached eggs on toast, to the lamb chops with veg and lovely thick gravy, to the simple but juicy quarter pounders, it's all good honest grub at fair prices. And, a decent cup of tea where they leave the bag in so you can have it like you want it. Perfect.

Good breakfasts and lunches. very clean. Staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. I would certainly recommend

This is a good local cafe sat on a junction next to an industrial area. Clean light and airy. It has outside seating too. The bacon roll and coffee really hit the spot

Deadest omelette in the country, milkshake looking like fairy up liquid. Waited 30 minutes for soggy mush in a box. Chips were dusty aswell.

I had resigned myself to standing around in the cold while my car was being cleaned. However I was delighted to find this little cafe and even more delighted by both the food and service. What a discovery! Despite being well out of the town centre in a pretty dull part of town it certainly delivers what one has come to expect from eateries in Hitchin. I only had freshly squeezed orange and a bacon sandwich but the menu offered many other attractions.

I actually live closer to Hitchin town centre than this excellent cafe, which is out on a crossroads by the main industrial area, but despite the wide range of eateries on offer within walking distance we often take the trip out here when a full English is called for. The welcome is always friendly, the breakfasts bang up, there are tempting specials too, and the menu is wide-ranging. My only minor gripe would be the bucket-sized coffee cups, which are a little hard to handle when full - it's undoubtedly a generous drink but a smaller cup with a refill option would be a step forward.

Second time visit today but the first since it opened over two years ago (I'm not local). I had a Spanish omelette with salad and a few fries and it was delicious and a huge portion, I will definitely try the special next time as I saw that being served up after I ordered and it looked great. The staff are friendly and the coffee is great and cheaper than the town centre that's for sure. Will undoubtedly be back as long as my daughter lives nearby.

This is a nice small family run cafe. I arrived for breakfast and ordered coffee and eggs benedict. Both arrived swiftly. The eggs were very good - nicely poached and runny in the middle, with a topping of hollandaise sauce. The cafe was clean and the leather seats comfortable. It's on a busy corner so parking is tricky. But a good cafe.

In the area for work early on a week day so popped in for brekkie as it looked a nice place. Really nice little café. Reasonably priced, decent sized breakfast and brew for £5.60! Good service, really clean and a bit of telly to watch whilst eating!

Had an hour to kill before the meeting in a town I've never visited before. Chanced the first cafe I could find just down the road. It turned out to be first class. Good menu offering breakfasts, lunches and sandwiches, all looked fresh and well cooked. Fast, friendly service in clean environment. Recommended.

Lovely little restaurant, with friendly staff, the food was exelent, the lamb was soooo tender and tasty, I will be back.

Cafe out of the way from town. Parking an issue but if you can stop by then do so. Best milkshakes around and nice food. Friendly staff. Resonably priced.

Beautifully prepared home made food! Coffee drinks were outstanding and so was the quality. Definitely will be back again.
