Amazing place, the dwarf ban is a tad harsh but hey rules are rules. Service can be slow if there are hot 80 year woman in. Owner loves his bus sister who is his hero. Just lovely

Lovely fresh bagels and ingredients, servers always happy and helpful, today’s bagel was bacon cheese and onion was spot on! Definitely recommend 🥯 🥯

The ambiance and quirkiness was wonderful and the cakes we had where good but oh the coffee. I ordered a cafetiere for one and was actually gobsmacked to see the server pour coffee from the filter machine into the cafetiere, the coffee had obviously been standing for some time judging by the taste. My wife did not believe me, so I attempted to find coffee grounds in the bottom of the cafetiere. Will not be visiting again.

I discovered this place while visiting some friends that live in Hitchin. We wanted ice cream and found this nice little place. Tables and chairs in the front reminded us of our hometown cafe terrazas in Spain. The gelato was really good, and best of all, all the flavours they had at the time were gluten free! 100% recommend this place and I will be coming back next time I'm in Hitchin.

I have been to three of these 'Lounge' places ( Malvern, Amerham and finally Hitchin) and they are all the same. No atmosphere, very average and quite expensive food and no service. You have to stand about waiting for someone to show you to a table and then they tell you that you have to order your food individually via a stupid online link think. Once you have waded through endless unwanted options and questions and demands for personal info (phone no. and email, why? Give fake ones) and finally get to order they have the tumerity to ask for a tip! They have done absoloutley nothing so why would you leave a tip? The service if functional, the furniture looks like a junk shop. I have been to three as in two cases we had a vegan in our party and the the last instance another member of the party said it looked like a nice place. I wouldn't use the place again, it doesn't seem to know what it is, it's not a bar, it's certainly not a resturant and it's to expensive for a cafe. And as for the ordering system....

Excellent approach to serving gluten free customers. So refreshing! On entry I said I was coeliac and the lady said they could cater for me. I asked if they had a separate toaster for gluten free and she said yes. Server had good knowledge of items on the menu. Happy to do me what I wanted even though not on the menu. Brought my food separately from my other friends but delivered in a very reassuring way. Food was also very tasty!
