We had amazing staff for our cocktail making masterclass, really friendly and happy to get involved in the laughs with the group

We did the Whitney Houston bottomless brunch, and it was great! Singer was fabulous. All food and drinks were managed really well. We had a fab time. The only little negative I'd have was the narrow location was a bit of a squeeze to get through as so many people, regardless it was such a great event. Highly recommend

We had a bottomless brunch, though it states an hour and a half we had enough drinks that lasted much longer. They brought our last drinks at the hour and a half point but was well enough to keep the conversation flowing for a few more hours. Food was also fantastic!!

I was having a great time until I was trampled on by some guys who got in a fight and was stuck under them. My sister in law and a random girl had to drag me out from under them and I was understandably scared. The bouncers checked on me and a lovely bartender who kept checking on me but the manager was rude and dismissive. My top is ruined,my legs are bruised and my anklet broke and all I asked for was compensatory drinks and his response was 'unfortunately you're not the only person this has happened to so that doesn't mean you get anything out of it.' I'm fuming because whilst this was out of everyone's control he made no effort to make the situation better. I was just having a good night and tried to make the best of it but management were rude and dismissive.

Been here before, popped in for lunch (four people). Staff friendly and efficient, food served quickly and well presented. Good lunch overall, only downside was an unexpected service charge on the bill.

Mesmerised by the French toast made me leave this world

Popped in for some tapas. Tiger prawns and vegetable tempura were great. However chicken strips were dry and Patatas bravos was poor. Potatoes were cut into small dice shapes and drowned in bland tomato sauce.

Booked a bottomless brunch here for a friends 60th. The drinks were waiting on the table, staff kept them well topped up, food was great( although I did ask on my pre order for no maple syrup but still got it) . We were lucky as the weather was fantastic and it was so lovely out the back with the sun shining and the drinks flowing. My only negative is that you have to book through the special booking site and the booking fee couldn’t be avoided by booking directly. The waitresses worked hard to bring jugs of cocktails and food out.

This place is great for breakfast. I went with my Husband and Mother-in-law, to catch up after she went on holiday. I had the Shakshuka skillet with a baked egg and they both had the Brioche French Toast, my Husband with a sausage as well. My skillet looked impressive and I was warned not to touch the hot metal. I like tomato based sauces and sourdough bread, so I found it delicious. My Mother-in-law and Husband said the French Toast wasn't soaked all the way through with the eggy mix, but enjoyed their breakfast anyway. The place wasn't busy, but was filling up as we left.

17 of us visited for a bottomless brunch on 18 May. Had a fabulous time. Drinks were regularly replaced when they were low or running out. Great music. Would be nice if the brunch had interaction with the guests- haven't been to one that doesn't have interaction so that was a bit strange. Food was lovely, everyone got what they ordered. Lovely venue and great atmosphere. Would book again!

Bottomless brunch was amazing value for money!

Staff were amazing, particularly the staff member manning the event room at the back ( I didn’t get his name unfortunately) and made my birthday brunch really special. Glasses were never empty and the food was good.

Bad food. The drinks are average and nothing to write home about. The food is bad, like homemade food but not the good one - £15 for the driest burger ever and the halloumi wrap almost had no filling.

Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff

Hired the garden lounge for a birthday party (70th) on a Sunday afternoon. Able to go in early to decorate. Staff super helpful. Ordered the buffet, everyone commented how nice the food was and the large buffet fed 50-55 people well. Emily was particularly helpful, looking after us before the event and during it too. Great value for money, lovely venue in centre of Hitchin. Definitely recommend and would book again.

Breakfast was very average and lacked attention to detail. Ordered an English breakfast which was delivered with half of the items of the plate cold, and the rest warm. Sausages were hot but mushroom, bacon and tomatoes cold! Served margarine , not butter, no mustard available, hash brown which appeared to be a large wedge of a crunchy potato…. Definitely not a hash brown … and sadly the staff slightly underwhelming. All in all a disappointed and rather boring Sunday outing and will not be returning.

We went for the bottomless brunch yesterday and we were quite disappointed, not worth almost £80 at all unfortunately. There was hardly any alcohol in the drinks, the starter was simply hummus and Pitta and the pizzas did not taste very good at all. The base was completely tasteless and the Goats Cheese (as can see from the picture) doesn't even look like Goats Cheese and tasted funny. I don't know if it wasn't cooked or whether it wasn't even Goats cheese but something was not right, it looked see-through. Both me and my partner only ate half the pizza and declined taking it home as we just couldn't stomach any more. Whilst the waitress seemed nice enough, the service was slow and everyone had to keep asking for attention. We requested the bill and then found the man we asked was chatting at the bar with a waitress and on their phones. 5 minutes later, our waitress came over and asked if we had recieved the bill. When we got it there was a discretionary 10% which said 100% went to server but it was the man's name on the receipt rather than our waitress. Neither was a £7 tip justified at all. The atmosphere was not as we expected at all, was expecting a nice fun, cocktail bar type atmosphere but it just felt like a very slightly upscale pub. The interior decor was not up to image, felt very standard. Wetherspoons has better design and atmosphere. Felt uncomfortable and counted down the minutes until we left. Wouldn't go back I'm afraid.

Had great cocktails on the 2 for 1 deal. Beautiful decor inside. Worth a visit.

I’d organised a group of 22 to eat here and the service from the staff and the manager was top notch and the food was great and very reasonably priced.

Lovely food, especially the full English breakfast / Cinnabar breakfast, and the eggs benedict was really good. Service and atmosphere spot on, no doubt helped by the cheerful and helpful staff.

Table of nine, had the Christmas 3 course meal. Food was absolutely fantastic! I had three salmon, turkey and then the Ferraro Rocher cake to finish! All fabulous, lots of empty plates! The service was attentive without being too much. All in all a great value Christmas dinner, many thanks x

Went for lunch with a visitor. Being mid December it was inevitably heaving with work groups having Christmas lunch. Despite this we were very well lookef after, at least 3 different staff members attending to us and all very friendly. No long waits for drinks or food and no issues at all. Food was excellent and pretty good value for these days. Only suggestion would be to have a bit more choice on the mains menu. Otherwise very happy 😊

We had a small Christmas party at Cinnabar, just 18 of us, and we had a fantastic time. It was straightforward to book and we chose the buffet, which was great value with plenty of food. The atmosphere in the bar was very friendly and the DJ played some good music. Thanks to Richard for sorting the booking for us, we would do it all again.

We came for our works Xmas party. There was 15 of us. Rich and the staff were fantastic, really friendly and so helpful. Food was really nice and the party afterwards was great, really nice atmosphere. Everyone in my party said how much of a good night they had.

We had our work Christmas meal at Cinnabar Hitchin and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. It was really good value for money. The service before and during our meal was excellent and we were treated to a Michael Bublé tribute act who was fantastic. A great evening out. Thoroughly recommend.

We had our works Christmas party here. The booking process was simple and the manager answered my queries promptly. On the evening the service was excellent as was the food. They catered well for our colleague who is coeliac. Very happy and we will be returning.

Came here for a quiet Sunday breakfast. Lovely French toast with bacon and a good pot of tea (two large cups worth). Friendly service as well.

A group of friends got together to catch up and have a bit of lunch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We placed our food order, however, not sure if the food was as good as I was expecting. Most of us had a burger and that was OK. However, to charge £3.50 for a side portion of onion rings was a bit of a joke. Honestly, these onion rings were no better than you'd buy from Iceland and you got the grand sum of 5 onion rings for the charge of £3.50. Not great if you ask me. I guess I was expecting beer batter onion rings for this price. At least the staff were great.

Pretty slow service. Had to ask for a lot of basic stuff like a menu after we sat down (with a booking) as noone gave us anything.

Came for cocktails only. When we arrived, told we could order via the QR code on the table or go to the bar. What we weren't told is that for some unknown reason all the online orders go to one of two bars, so despite having 4 people stood around doing very little at one bar we waited half an hour for drinks. Chased twice at the quiet bar...zero impact. Then when they finally arrived, slopped across the tray. And as for the cocktails themselves...yeah, pretty poor.

Not enough superlatives for the team at Cinnabar Hitchin. From start to finish the service they offered absolutely made our daughter’s 21st Birthday party. From initial engagement with Richard (General Manager) … his advice around buffet and prompt responses to my many questions was very much appreciated. Day before and on the day, Claire was so accommodating, calm and relaxed she took away all my party stresses. Food was excellent… bar staff brilliant! Thoroughly, thoroughly recommend Cinnabar! For what is essentially a burger and chips restaurant, the food is excellent. Highly recommend the buttermilk chicken burger, and the millionaire shortbread was amazing. The young ladies serving the tables were all naturally friendly, and the place welcomes dogs too. Excellent

Went for lunch as a treat for my mum before I go away for a while and had a lovely experience to start off with from the lovely young lady who seated us & another one who took our order. Ordered some tapas dishes and the chicken was raw, completely pink so we sent it back & was told the kitchen was going to remake it, we would have just not had it again but wasn’t given the option of whether we wanted to swap it for another dish or not have it again. We had finished the rest of our dishes by the time the chicken came back out & didn’t really want to eat it as we were wary after the first portion. Went to pay the bill & one of the waitresses, a young girl with glasses just looked like she didn’t want to be there (another man who I assume was the manager looked the same)!! No smile, no thank you when I’d paid, just no friendly customer service to us or the people she was getting drinks for that were before us, so not a good visit & ruined what was supposed to be a nice treat for my mum. I won’t be returning after very undercooked food & unapproachable & unfriendly staff.

Ordered food outside via the app, 45 minutes later it hadn't arrived so flagged down a member of staff, Order had been charged but not gone through to kitchen, also App had an old menu and some food wasn't available. Re-ordered in person, staff were very apologetic and refunded my meal which was a lovely gesture. Food was delicious eventually.

Celebrated my 40th birthday at Cinnabar Hitchin recently, and was blown away by the super friendly, accommodating and flawless customer service. All the team were beyond helpful and I have to give special thanks to Richard (General Manager) for making the whole booking process seamless and very personalised. The night itself couldn’t have gone better. I had a fabulous time and really feel like a princess. Thank you Cinnabar.

Recently visited Cinebar for my brothers stag. I booked online and the communication was excellent. We reserved the outside seating area which was perfect. The staffs customer service was amazing and I would highly recommend this venue for gathering of friends. Thanks again!

First visit and definitely will not be my last. Everything was amazing from the moment we stepped in. The servers were extremely lovely and food was delicious. Those starters especially the prawns almost had me licking my plate 😂. I mean great food and excellent customer service....you can't go wrong !!!

First visit to Cinnabar. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was fast and delicious. They were happy to adjust the order as I'm not a fan of mushrooms. I sat out the front. It was so peaceful watching the world go by. Would highly recommend. Will be returning next time I'm in Hitchin

Great night at Cinnabar. Super friendly staff and great cocktails, some were a little delayed which is only reason not 5 stars and they did apologise profusely and give us a free glass of fizz to make up :-) nice sharing boards at good price. Would recommend :-)

It is a peaceful location throughout the day, but the overpriced dining and alarming number of flies around the tables are both drawbacks. Overall, it didn't seem very clean and I will not be returning.

My knitting group Hitchin stitchin go each week to Cinnabar. They are so welcoming the staff are lovely and so helpful. The coffee is good and food wonderful.we are very pleased with our new home .
