I had afternoon tea with my mother in law on Saturday afternoon and it was wonderful! The cafe is stunningly beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. I really love that the afternoon tea has a Spanish tapas twist,it makes a nice change to a traditional afternoon tea. The macaroons in particular were incredible! I don't usually like them but these were by far the best I have ever tasted. I also think at £20pp it's good value for money. I cannot recommend it enough! They also have loads of other food options and cocktails which look equally delicious.

I visited the Coffee Pot for a takeaway lunch, specifically looking for a shepherd's pie after chatting with a family member who had recently made one at home. As I was craving that comforting dish, I decided to purchase it instead of cooking myself. Upon entering the Coffee Pot, I asked for shepherd's pie, which was not visibly displayed on their food shelf. However, the server confirmed they had it. I paid £7.50, and to my surprise, the server pulled out a tray of shepherd's pie from under the displayed salad without it being covered properly. He mentioned it would take 7-8 minutes to prepare, but after just 5 minutes, it was ready. When I returned home, just under 5 minutes later, I opened the takeaway box to find that the box was already soggy. The shepherd's pie appeared excessively shiny and was smothered in watery gravy (pictures attached). To my astonishment, it came with an overwhelming amount of coleslaw and slices of tomato and cucumber, which I never asked for. The food was cold, despite my short journey home. Overall, I found the dish to be greasy, lacking in mashed potatoes, and the minced meat was tasteless plus it was cold! At £7.50, the meal was definitely overpriced for the quality. I cannot recommend this place for a shepherd's pie — it’s disappointing, especially considering the establishment itself is quite well presented.

I called the venue politely and asked an email address of the venue to speak with someone in regards to live music venue. The lady who replied to my call on 30.01.2025 at 16:44 was very rude on the phone and unpleasant! She had a really bad customer service and rudeness and I asked her to recommend myself and she mentioned she is not able to or want to!!! The worse experience I ever had with someone! I DO NOT recommend dealing with these people

Nice overall. Spaghetti tasted decent without too much salt or additives. Had that home cooked Ng feel. Mash was good too.

I just went to Cj's for the first time. Friendly staff, food was delicious perfect size and very good price. Food was prepared and served very quickly.

Fabulous Sunday lunch - tasty food, generous portions and relatively inexpensive - great value for money. Whilst the meat and veg had loads of flavour the gravy was the pièce de résistance - delicious. Oh, and the Guinness ain't bad either!

We are from Luton, living in Spain. Back for a family break we popped in for breakfast this is only the second review i have ever written but this place was worth it. Friendly young staff, great to see. Clean and well laid out cafe and good food. Menu looks good for lunch so recommend evryone to give it a go

I have been a patron of this establishment for several years. The service has always been exceptional, and the staff are incredibly inviting and welcoming. The atmosphere is a delightful blend of peace and liveliness. It's five stars across the board!

Always good for (a) pre football match drink to get us in the mood, (b) post football match drink to celebrate a good result, (c) post football match drink to drown sorrows after a bad result. Seriously, though, the drinks are good, the staff are good and polite, the food is good a nd there's a pleasant atmosphere.

Cockroach in the whole costa on the sofa they were crawling on the pastries I’m disgusted and will never go there to think I’m allergic to cockroaches aswell and they so pathetic no hygiene nothing

Good friendly bar alot of history. Great back garden dog friendly and staff are great.

Had the chai latte. Was nice but not worth £4.20. I think the drinks are priced very high compared to other shops and because of this I probably won't return.
