Kabanas in Luton

Always good for (a) pre football match drink to get us in the mood, (b) post football match drink to celebrate a good result, (c) post football match drink to drown sorrows after a bad result. Seriously, though, the drinks are good, the staff are good and polite, the food is good a nd there's a pleasant atmosphere.

Bottled beer Heineken and Budweiser 2 for £5 ...

I have only been to this place twice and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed both times. The staff are friendly and the manager is also attentive to customers needs, greeting us with a friendly smile and escorting us to our seats. The DJ was playing a good selection of tunes. And as a Malaysian with little knowledge on the genre of music, I enjoyed it. The only thing I'd like to remind you guys, when you serve a bottle of wine, please uncork the bottle first. Thanks for a great night.

Very nasty and slow staff especially the Polish woman and the tall and black man. They made us feel like we're begging for free drinks

Bit small and therefore the music is always just that little bit too loud for the venue. Overall a decent night out with a good crowd. Could do with more bar staff on the busier nights.

Kabanas Is One Of Best Venue In Luton. Venue Clean And Nicely Decorated. Friendly Door Staff, Lovely Staff & Cheap Drinks. I have to big up the young lady who is the manager there who was extremely helpful and patient.

Had my nephews 16th birthday bash. Nice place, nice venue and atmosphere fantastic. Food was really nice and the DJ didn't disappoint.

Good African club and African food every Sunday

The dancehalles were small, but the sound system was loud and powerfull.The prices were acceptable.

Club Kabanas is a nightclub based in Luton that is great for a night out with friends if you like reggae and soul. Located near Sainsburys, there is ample parking and a very good ambiance.

Very polite host, was flexible and accommodating.

Brilliant club but never know when there's a function

This is a brand new restaurant catering to the African population in Luton and Bedforshire. Owned by a very nice Nigerian guy. Spacious restaurant seats about 60 people It has a night club with a large dance floor next door . There is a bar serving the restaurant and a bar to serve the nightclub area My wife and I were the only two people in there as it was late on a Wednesday night. The tables were beautifully decorated and knives and forks came in their own paper envelopes. There was still Valentines day confetti in the form of little hearts scattred on the tables but it was romantic and I didnt mind. there is a row of tables in an alcove down one side of the restaurant with subtle lighting which change colours. There was saxophone music being softly played on the PA system which I thought was odd for an African themed restaurant. We ordered Grilled Tilapia which took about 30 minutes to arrive while we drank a bottle of Cabernet Sauvginon We were served sides (large portions) of seasoned rice ( yummy) and slices of fried yam (much like potatoes in taste) Plus a side dish of cabbage with red peppers in it. I found the Yam dry in texture and oily,perhaps its an acquired taste. The Tilapia came and it was perfectly done. It comes on a large plate as a whole fish and the idea iis to dig at it with a fork peeling pack the skin to reveal the tender flesh inside My wife who is Kenyan said it could have done with being marinated in lemon juice to enhance the flavour. I wasnt hungry as I had eaten earlier but I enjoyed what I did eat We were served by an attentive young girl from London and nothing was too much trouble. Perhaps we could have asked for our own plates but we picked and ate off the dishes that were presented to us. At the end of the meal we were both given goodie bags which were beautifully made which had chocolates inside as my wife had complained about the fish. For an authentic African experience and to enjoy the true warmth of African hospitality I recommend it. The staff are very happy to explain dishes to those un familiar with African cuisine. This is food that hasnt been messed about with. Its unpretentious down to earth fresh as you can get food. I highly recommend it as its sets the bar for quality in terms of African dining. Total cost of the meal and wine was £37. They are open till late fridays and saturdays so if you fancy dancing your socks off to some great afro rhythms then Kabanas is the place.

Only been for the nightclub, and it's not bad. Good vibes, decent music and plenty of parking places.
