Morton's in Luton

The food was absolutely awful! Ordered at the counter then sat down, didn't even have time to take my jacket off before the breakfast was served to me. All of which was cold apart from the beans, the egg was still raw and looked like it had just fell out of the chickens arse 5 minutes before. More fat on the bacon than actual meat, chips and hash browns that were barely cooked. I would not recommend this place to anyone more ever eat here again!

Our local cafe , always pop in when I can. Took wife kids in this morning, great food and friendly service as usual. Highly recommended.

I had a half inch piece of coiled metal in my tinned tomatoes from the can opening. Got a sorry. Could have been so very dangerous!

If you are delivering to the trading estate half a mile down the road do your self a favour and go and search out this cafe, breakfast was excellent, price was reasonable and service was prompt and efficient….. what more do you want … five stars !!

First time I've been in and it's a lovely little find. Did not know it was there l. The food was hot and tasty. Staff are great. Certainly recommend going there.

This is a lovely little cafe. The food is always absolutely delicious, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Always pop in when we are down visiting family and never disappointed. The eggs here, whether poached or fried, are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place.

1st time eating here and it was a very enjoyable English breakfast at a reasonable price. Food was all cooked very well, tasted great and was a decent portion Looking forward to going in again for another breakfast If you're in the area, I can highly recommend

If you want reasonable priced food and coffee in a nice atmosphere, but food is basically English breakfast fare, there are options to have jacket potatoes with different topings etc, the ham egg an chips was delicious and with coffee came to less than £9, so i think exceptional value for money 💰

You can’t fault the food and service, friendly staff, but the seating area needs a really good clean!

Hidden Gem. Had a fantastic breakfast at 1pm and inside had a little place for kids to come and adults to relax and grab a bite to eat and coffee. Hot chocolate was so nice too. Highly recommended and we will definitely be going again. 5* as the customer service is brilliant and food was really delicious

Welcoming 10/10 Breakfast Price 8/10 (£6.50) Presentation 17/10 Coffee Taste (Not sure of Brand) 1/10 Breakfast Quality 3/10 Café Cleanliness 7/10 Rapid Service 6/10 Overall experience for 1st time is not great. As soon as I entered the café, I was greeted with a lovely smile. Not happy that they don't accept card payment. So I had to order breakfast then go and get cash at nearest atm. Coffee was tasteless. Some of the bacon and eggs were cooked in over cooked oil. Overall, won't be rushing back.

It was all going great until we had to pay. Cash only but no sign of it anywhere. If you don't accept cards nowadays you must make it very clear (at the door, on the menu, at the counter, anywhere). I hope it helps this info I've just updated here.

Visited today for a set 4 breakfast 2eggs bacon 2sausages baked beans fried mushrooms black pudding fresh tomatoe and chips and choice of tea or coffee, the service was very friendly and the breakfast itself very good, only criticism is replace the chips with hash browns and yes the cafe could do with a spuce up but otherwise 5 stars, just found out you can swap chips for hash browns so even better

Food was very tasty and fairly priced. Burger was massive and fresh but the portion of chips was small. Fast and friendly service by the staff. Definitely going again :)

Does exactly what you would expect.

Really shoddy decor. Needs gutted and decorated in a basic clean and tidy way. Less is more. No need for a kids play area as it is a greasy spoon and must be hard to clean soft toys everyday. Also different floors laminate and tiles and a make shift bar. Just strikes me as a half hearted attempt of a cafe. Food was good but i felt put off by the lack of effort in the premises. Waitress really friendly. Would be a 5 star if the premises was better

Love this cafe. Only just started recently coming here. Really nice breakfast, very reasonably priced and the people who run it are really friendly. Saves me a lot of washing up too! Highly recommend.

Good excellent with friendly service

From the outside, it looks like a typical everyday "caff", but the food I always cooked fresh and is tasty. The staff are very friendly, and you can mix and match the set meals to accommodate what you want, with no hassle.

Really enjoyed this. Staying at Toddington services (only 10 minutes away) after visiting legoland, we wanted something to eat before the 4 hour journey home. I have a VERY picky 15 year old who had spaghetti bolognese and actually ate it all! The mince pie was nice, the mashed potato was lovely, tasted like baked potato, but that's ok, its what I use when making corned beef pie. Would recommend if you're wanting some quick cafe food.

Food was not good value. Not sure what was going on? Staff applying Deodrant at the till, and another applying her make up! Food was not the best! Didn't seem very organised!

It's a nice friendly cafe in Sundon Park, Luton. If your looking for a noughty fry up this is the place for you. Plenty of newspaper to read while drinking your cupa.

Visit once or twice a week with family and meet friends for breakfast it's great to have a local cafe

As i speak i am sat in this cafe writing this. I have been a couple of times and EVERY time i go I am always treated with immense respect. Nothing is to much for them. They bend over backwards to forfill your food needs. They are always kind, curtosy and really helpful. I highly highly recommend them.

This is my local cafe. It serves excellent, well priced breakfasts as well as freshly cooked lunchtime specials. Nice variety of afternoon cakes, teas and coffees. Air conditioned. The staff will mix and match dishes to cater for vegetarian/vegan tastes. Parking is outside. Newspapers and children’s area/toys are provided. I would recommend for a hearty breakfast and if you fancy an alternative vegetarian breakfast

This place is filthy the floor honestly looked as if it had not been swept in months and the child's high chair was black with filth and rotten food after a long morning we stayed and ordered and the coffee was left as it didn't taste like coffee and the food was expensive and tasted terrible and was burnt i looked around a saw another man eating pure black toast i will not be going back

I went to the mortons cafe this morning. The breakfast was very poor. Luke warm beans, mushrooms and cold black pudding. The staff took it away to only return it so hot it burned the inside of my mouth. Worst breakfast i have had for a long time. I do however have to admit the staff were very friendly but the food was very poor

Estábamos visitando la zona de Luton para el día y parecía un lugar para sentarse y comer, y que también tenía un inodoro. Desde el exterior era Mortons quizás no es el más atractivo, como un café de transporte. Sin embargo, la comida era muy aceptable, y sin duda era barato. Puedo recomendar el tocino francés (baguette). El personal era amable y el baño estaba limpio, con instalaciones para cambiar pañales.

Yo tome no hay placer en este comentario como la gente parecía amable y el desayuno frito no estaba mal.Sin embargo, el lugar era simplemente asqueroso y sucio por dentro. Las mesas, sillas, piso, paredes, asquerosas.Los niños tronas estaban cubiertas de manchas de comida y suciedad que debe haber sido meses.Los platos y cubiertos no parecía sucio, pero supongo que es una de las zonas de cocina como lo son como.Necesita una profunda limpieza profunda y pintarlos.Tenía mucho peor antes de frituras, pero este debe ser el lugar que me he comido en grubbiest durante unos 20 años.Tiene 5 estrellas en las valoraciones de higiene de los alimentos, que es bastante impresionante.
