Costa in Luton

A very expensive coffee and one of the dirty in town.Always all the tables are full with waste food,and the outside area is horrible!

good and fast service, easy to both pick up and is welcoming enough to be able to sit down and enjoy your order there as well.

The hot drinks were *extremely* hot (to the point where I'm questioning the calibration of their machines) and the floor and seating was extremely dirty and in disarray. The seats material was ripped and very dirty - clearly hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Same goes for the entrance mat - very dirty and had extremely old gum on it. If I didn't know this was a Costa I'd assume it was a run down cafe run by a couple just running out the clock until retirement, not a nationwide leading coffee chain. Absolutely shameful.

Staff are rude they are warning people to leave store Even we public wait 5 min for partner or frnds they are loosing words and customers lol I can order 1000 coffees if i want but Remember store manager your staff cant take words back

Many times the coffee tastes bad, and every once in a while they make it right, in addition to their bad manners with customers.

I have never ever visited such dirty, unmanaged and lowest at customer service. Not even a single table was clean. Rubbish on floor and on tables. I request them twice that I’m having my coffee here but still they offered everyone in paper cups. A very long queue like I’m in LIDL not in Costa. NEVER EVER COME BACK AGAIN

Decent Costa in spite of the apparent (?) dodgy surroundings. Friendly staff and quick service.

They increased the price and decreased the quality. Everywhere is dirty and there are homeless people inside. Unfriendly staff

Really dirty, when asked for a cloth to clean my own table been just smiled at but not cloth has been given. Seats with fabric cover need a deep clean, same as the sofa seats! Messy floor and walls! End it up leaving and not sure will come back.

Understaffed and service really slow. If you need anything in a hurry to Muffin Break.

The staff are extremely friendly, always have a good experience here. The premises is clean and they usually have everything in stock. Good job.

Not sure what I drank. Ordered a Oat Flat White, and got some sugary oat drink. Costa should supply with proper Oat milk and not whatever I had that day. Also tidy up the coffee machine it's dirty. Staff was professional, nothing to say about service

Just went in and asked for a chai latte. The server was scratching his arms like he had some kinda condition. Didn't even wash hands after Eurrrggghh... Don't go in there They practice nasty customer service 🤢

Been shut for over a month atleast. Doesn't even exist in the mall anymore, they're advertising for a new business to take it's spot.

Half the order was missing and what we did get was cold! .. won't be using them again!

I just love this Costa Caffe. I'm Brazilian and I was a Starbucks addicted, however since I moved to UK I became a Costa fidelity customer. Somehow their coffee taste better and stronger. I usually prefer to visit the Costa inside the Mall because of the staff, they are very kind and friendly.

At Hospital, captive audience, expensive, but if you are gasping after sitting about for 4 hours. Does the job.

Most of the time there is a good experience but many times disappointed because fewer people are served so that is why so hard to get coffee and breakfasts in the mornings

I got my wallet stolen inside this Costa and they wouldn't even help out or check the cameras. There's a lot of shady people hanging out there.

The Toilets were really disgusting urine and the floor with feases all around the base of toilet it was clear had been there for a good while. Also I seen a open needle on the floor. This Costa defiantly could do with a pin number lock on the toilets

We went into the shop so far everything was good the person taking the order was polite and took the order good .The problems started when the drinks were being made first the person in the back made one drink wrong after we corrected him to supposibly made the drink again right he then gave our drink but only 2 when we ordered 3 when then corrected him and he gave it 5 min later we left with wrong sized drink and one drink wronged flavoured. Disappointed with the service today

Ordered two flat whites with soya milk. Lady started making them with normal milk, her collegue remind her it supposed to be soya. She rudely answered "no one told me" in from of me. I asked her to do not heat up the milk more than 60 degrees. I've got my flat whites in huge cups, with absolutely wattery extra hot soya milk. Which I said I don't like how she prepared my coffees, because it was extremely bad quality and wrong size. She just ignored me. Unfortunately in Luton there isn't Cafe Nero which is much better than Costa 😒

I went yesterday for Cafe Frostino and I am trying to cut a bit on sugar I asked the blond girl working there if she can swap vanilla powder for Sugar free syrup. She said No what really suprise me but more suprising was when she told me that drink will be watery without it. That the powder is making the drink thicker but I always thought it is ICE. So paid for my sypup and of course she put powder plus full fat milk.

A bit crowded but nice. Has inside and outside area as well. Friendly staff. The iced coffee was good but not sweet enough for my taste. Staff was super helpful though.

Nice place to grab a hot or cold drink, but when sitting inside there are always plates and trays left on the table and nobody cleans it until later on when we leave.

Varies tremendously depending which staff are on. A common fault with Costas. Uncleared tables and floor in need of a sweep! Must try harder!

Seating is sometimes hard to find as it is often busy. There is only a single toilet.

Busy site in the Mall Centre Luton formerly known as the Arndale. With a large chain such as Costa you expect service and quality of drink and food to be the same and it was. Always liked Costa probably my favourite coffee chain and the one I always look for if there is no obvious independent. Cappuccino or latte always good

Very busy...but attentive staff..

Costa coffee is Costa coffee. Whilst I prefer Costa to Starbucks, it cannot compete with the independents. The quality is OK, the service varies from branch to branch but is usually average and the prices are not cheap for the quality on offer.

The tables need cleaning, never have a clean table to sit at! The coffee is expensive, leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

I met up with a friend here after coming to the Arndale for some Christmas shopping. Although it looked full I quickly realised there were many people just hanging around or playing on their device. Otherwise just a below average Costa. After two coffees and a bite to eat I needed the toilet. What a palaver with getting a code. I suppose it reflects on those who were hanging around. Doubt I will visit again!

Excellent coffee and great snacks. Just a variation in staff capabilities, it often feels as is no one is in charge.

It can be busy at this Costa in Luton's mall. That said, you can expect the usual excellent coffee, pastries and savouries. There is another Costa in the mall, located at the opposite end near the public library. This outlet is usually a bit less crowded and is quieter. You will still get the same excellent food and drink. On this visit I enjoyed a small cappuccino with an individual panetone, which was very nice.

Nice place but sometimes when you request a hot chocolate you end up having a sugary drunk that doesn't taste choccolate at all! Need to provide more info about the percentage of the sugar in every drink!!

Lovely place for a coffee and bite to eat! It’s nice to meet people here for a warm and welcoming environment and the menu is amazing. Lots of variety!!
