Best breakfast iv had in years. Food is top quality, fresh , lovely presented and plenty of it . Friendly and helpful staff . Very modern and spotless , plus easy parking close by . Definitely be going here again 😋

Had a lovely breakfast here earlier this week - does what it says on the tin. Not sure if it has new owners as it was so much better than when I last visited several years ago. The food was lovely, relatively inexpensive, and the service was genuinely friendly. After searching in vain for some bacon the previous morning I won't bother again, I'll just head to this place when I'm next in Luton.

Ordered 2 breakfasts and was served by the little brunette girl who for some reason had so much attitude & sighed her breath in my face when I changed my mind about what I wanted to order. The ugly attitude continued throughout the whole time when we ate our food as she served us, probably a racist but anyway food was mid all due to this small brunette with a horrible attitude.

Great cafe,food freshly cooked and presented well.Staff are welcoming and friendly.price is reasonable.But the bacon is very salty,just I case you have to monitor that intake. Well worth a visit

Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this little place is 😊 (recommended by my uncle/Aunt who are regulars) Immediately made to feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble. I had the loveliest cheese on toast and the rest of my family had some pretty epic looking Breakfasts! Accompanied by tasty decaf coffee, a real little gem! Thanks for having us!

Visited with my wife. Food was tasty, although small portions and the staff were nice. Fast service. The toilet is outside and the place wasn’t warm enough. I ordered Turkish Breakfast and chicken kebab which for some reason weren’t on the menu. The bill was £24.90; we didn’t have any drinks. I won’t be eating there again.

Another top quality breakfast. Excellent service. Food comes quick, hot and well cooked. Eggs runny too. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.

Best fry up in luton in my opinion only complaint is the amount of beans is never enough but honestly great food great staff quality meats clean and tidy

This is my favourite Café. I highly recommend it. Food is delicious, and there is never a long wait, despite it being freshly cooked. The staff are wonderful and will always serve with a smile. It is a very popular and busy Café, and if its your first time look at the empty plates left by the customers. My family and friends use it regularly

Perfect breakfast. Friendly staff. Food cooked well and served hot. Number 5 is my favourite and it fills you up for most of the day

Was recommend by a local hotel. A excellent and very cheap breakfast with very good filter coffee.Good staff can't faulty it even if it had cost more, but all in for 4.95 very very good

We haven't been here for a food couple.of years due to Covid, so we were really glad to see it has stood the test of time. Again a great breakfast and a great cup of tea. The toast was done to perfection. This place has not to be missed on a visit to Luton.

Good quality food at a very good price. Big portions. They used to have a very friendly staff, but not this time, as the person who served us was rough and unkind, as she took the plates and clean the table right after we finished, like if she did not want is there anymore. And she did not even reply when we say bye.

My wife and I are regulars at The Hardware Cafe, going in on Tuesday lunchtime, we are always warmly welcomed by the staff and the owner. There is a fabulous selection of food including a dozen different breakfasts and a vast array of other items on the menu to suit every taste, even so members of staff will happily add or take away from the listed food to enhance your experience. The food is always served quickly and hot to the highest quality with very generous portions at extremely good price. The menu also caters for vegetarians. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hardware to all.

Called in for a late breakfast as had a meeting near, generally ok, girl serving was miserable! and the sausage were of very bad quality, but ok for a quick bite.

The full english is generally nice but the sausages are where very cheap and you could really taste it,put me off finishing.

Ir a Londres, una de las Cosas que queremos hacer es probar el desayuno inglés. Si es tambien lo que desean, tienen que ir a The Hardware Cafe. La porcion es generosa, es muy Rico. Lo recomiendo

I went there from a stop to the airport. Atmosphere okay. I ordered full English breakfast, the sausages were very rubbery, the tomatoes were shockingly came out from a tim and not grilled?? the eggs were covered in charcoal what it looks like dirty oil. The toast was good. It was a passing by visit maybe il try somewhere else next time

As you approach the counter at this pay at time of ordering cafe, you are greeted with a wide smile and friendly conversation by the staff. First impressions count and they were fantastic. I ordered a set breakfast which, in my opinion, was rather over priced. Portion size wasn't up to the price but the food was more than satisfactory. What I had was excellent. I would return if in Luton, but there are definitely better value cafes around.

We came to Luton between flight and had a couple hours to spare, so we decided to try the true English breakfast. NOT DISAPPOINTED! Lovely place, very nice staff, food was delicious and way too much for me, and very quick! Perfect.

Super fast service and very friendly staff. The breakfast (set 4) was superrrr large and I had a baguette sandwich with 4 fillings for just £3.70. Overall it’s the perfect place for breakfast. Freshest breakfast I have had so far.

8 all day breakfasts to choose from with and average price of £6.50. Toast was nice and hot and not overly burnt (just the way I like it).

The food was prepared and served quickly. Unfortunately, almost everything was fried. Our breakfast was what I have experienced traditional English food to be. The Hardware Cafe had many customers because of its low prices and fast service.

Lovely and clean, fresh food, friendly staff, huge portions and cheap prices. Get there early for lunch it fills up quickly.

Recently dined here for breakfast while on business. The service was good and the food arrived in good time and piping hot. I opted for the light breakfast adding mushrooms which was ample to start my day. However I did notice someone getting the BIG breakfast and I can tell you it’s huge big enough for two.

Large portions of good honest hot food great value lots of choices and cater for vegetarians. Cafe style food. Close to town centre. Friendly staff, newspapers to read quick service.

Been here a couple of times over the years and it was good and it is still good. Good size, nice tasting, fast service. Good coffee, if you want a good breakfast go here.

Best Fry Up in Luton.. Bacon is on point, many different breakfasts to suit your needs. Don't want a Fry Up?.. they have a menu to suit all.. from veggies to children 😋

I'd say the best cafe in luton ! Great breakfast ! Fare prices always full up when you leave money well spent just needs more protection from the main road

I've been here for breakfast a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. Price is good, food is good and portions are big. Basically it's exactly what I'd want it to be.

I went there for breakfast couple of times. A traditional English café with fast service, only a handful of tables and chairs. Full English breakfast was nice but not worth to travel for if you don't live next door. I hated roast chicken but it is my fault that I do not like tasteless dry things (you get the same everywhere), service is fast and place is clean. You can't not expect more... they should do something about their coffee though, it definitely should be better.

Well cooked, reasonably priced and promptly served. Couldn't ask for more really.We make a couple of visits here a month at weekends when we can't be bothered to make breakfast, or we forgot to go shopping.

Very atmospheric and friendly. Great place for coffee or lunch. Evening opening times are limited so check first but the food is tasty. More café than restaurant.

I like this cafe a lot and tend to visit a few times a year when going to Luton or further on. Despite a change of ownership a couple of years ago the format has remained unchanged (so often people think they know better and change things the wrong way). There is a large range of breakfasts and other choices. The food always arrives quickly, freshly cooked and piping hot. Service is always polite and helpful.The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that like many places the sausages and sauces let the side down. I would (and am sure many more) would be willing to pay a little more for tasty meaty sausages than be served a 'factory' sausage. Or maybe it could be made an upgrade option?

A very popular café. We arrived just in time as all the tables soon filled up [although I note they have a takeaway service]. Interesting cross-section of society in there. We both had breakfasts from the extensive choice on offer. Yes it's a catering sausage and no the coffee is not fine Guatemalan filter but the cooked breakfasts are great. Perfect way to start a Sunday. Mushrooms were good as was the fried bread [I could hear my heart screaming] and the egg had a good runny yoke. I would definitely go back again.
