We visited Chef’s whites today and it was excellent value. Very good food and attentive and friendly service. The focaccia and whipped butter was lovely. Atmosphere score was reduced as there were only 2 other tables in use, but it was a lunchtime meal. But could not fault the service. Yes, the staff are learning and may make minor mistakes but they actually make the meal more interesting. The drinks list is limited but what do you expect in a college. I will be visiting again and would recommend anyone going to Ipswich to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Great value 2 courses £12 and 3 courses £15.

This is my go to sandwich shop! As a fellow family run independent business I think it's important to support the little people and supporting this one is a pleasure. Always friendly and polite and the sandwiches are ALWAYS AMAZING!! Freshly made focaccia on site, filled with the most scrumptious selection of fillings. Different specials also available on their board. I'm currently working my way through their menu. I also quite often nip in there and buy them for pack lunches for my husband and children to give them a special treat! I'm on my second loyalty card so I've already had one free sandwich!! If you haven't been make sure you do!!!!

I was gifted an 'Afternoon tea for two' as a 60th Birthday present. I visited today with my friend Valerie. We had a fabulous time, with delicious homecooked food. It was an ample spread, and we are leaving full and satisfied 😌 Thank you Lianne and Russell for a wonderful time.

Great for a late night dance and the staff work hard and do a great job. Very busy on the Saturday night that I went and the staff were quick and perceptive, so everyone got served in the correct order and fast, so thanks for making it a pleasant evening and keep up the good work

Now called Harvest Moon, this cafe has delicious plant-based food, imaginatively presented and reasonably priced. Lovely selection of cakes and biscuits. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice staff, excellent quality coffee, and the baked goods are really great! I would say the best quality coffee in Ipswich. Definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Seating inside and available outside in the back garden.

We booked the back room.at the Arcade Street Tavern for a 50th Birthday Party. Ross and Ross could not do enough to assist with the preparation and planning for the event. They were so friendly and helpful, being flexible to meet our requirements with drinks and dj (DJ Jon was brilliant). The room is already a great space with the rear courtyard garden included, but they decorated it all beautifully with balloons and space for the cake, making it feel like a great party space. On the night, there were plenty of extra staff to cater for the requirements of the party goers, they were all really friendly and attentive and helped to create a lovely and memorable birthday.

Allergy modification declined and given a poor excuse. I have always championed the grazing sheep for their breakfast. Their menu has changed since I’ve been back and states they can make adjustments due to dietary restrictions at the top of their menu. I asked for the salmon classic breakfast but an egg instead of Greek yoghurt as I’m allergic to dairy, I felt this was not a large request or substitute . The waitress didn’t seem to believe I had an allergy and said she would “try to ask the chef he seems in a ok mood today so may make this adjustment” this was flat out declined by the chef due to them being one chef down in the kitchen and there was only two of them. The waitress came and told us this and therefore what it states on their menu is not true. I was extremely disappointed as they weren’t that busy. I was happy to wait and ended up having to have something I didn’t first choose. As a paying customer and someone who has allergies I was really sad to see no accommodations could be made as they used to be so good at this, this ruined the dining experience for me . Sadly I won’t be returning.

We enjoyed a Premium brunch which was great value for money, tasty and along with the unlimited cocktails and great music, we had an awesome night! We met the manager first who was welcoming and very attentive. Then we were served by Carah who was brilliant, she made ordering simple and delivered cocktails timely. All staff including were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble (even security were super helpful and approachable when we’d left belongings at our table, leaving at 1am). Would highly recommend and will return soon. Thanks for a great 40th Rev’s team

Jacey’s used to be lovely little stop when shipping in town, so of course it was our first choice today. Sadly, with my Mum being dairy and gluten free, there was only one GF offering on the menu and very little dairy free as the sandwiches etc all had butter in. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the simple addition of dairy free spread instead of butter would widen the range on offer considerably and wouldn’t be a difficult switch. The food when it arrived was just ok, nothing to rave about. I had to pop upstairs to the toilets and they were frankly awful. Bins overflowing on to the floor with paper towels, dirty toilets and seats, peeling wallpaper and broken tiles, and a piece of what looked like rusty tin foil for the soap to sit on! Sadly I think we might have to find somewhere else to go for our next visit!
