This is my go to sandwich shop! As a fellow family run independent business I think it's important to support the little people and supporting this one is a pleasure. Always friendly and polite and the sandwiches are ALWAYS AMAZING!! Freshly made focaccia on site, filled with the most scrumptious selection of fillings. Different specials also available on their board. I'm currently working my way through their menu. I also quite often nip in there and buy them for pack lunches for my husband and children to give them a special treat! I'm on my second loyalty card so I've already had one free sandwich!! If you haven't been make sure you do!!!!

Perfect sandwich shop. Fit for Notting hill. Great coffee used, great menu. Flowing with Italian roots but really has a sandwich for everyone! Under £7 for a luxury sandwich is not far off subway, but uses luxury ingredients! Beautiful service too. Clearly family owned and run. Owners cooking focaccia as I write this! Lovely place, lovely decoration and lovely food. Ipswich was missing a sandwich shop!

If you're going to charge £6.50 for a philly steak sandwich it needs to be a lot better than a smattering of dry brisket and pretty much non existant cheese.

We stumbled on St Nicholas Stores quite by chance. And what a find it is. Friendly staff serving amazing homemade freshly prepared food. Burgers, sausage rolls, salads, filled rolls and many more. We enjoyed a medium salad, there salad brings a whole new meaning to salad. Not a limp lettuce leaf in sight. This Store is a must to visit, they have a loyality card too.... We will return. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

If you are looking for a quick lunch in Ipswich then St Nicholas Stores is the place to go! I work in Ipswich 3 days a week and the highlight for me is the short walk over the bridge to this fantastic little deli! They have the best range of sandwiches and salads with awesome ingredients! I would recommend the Donna! (Halloumi, Sweet Chilli, Chorizo and Rocket!) Simply Superb!!!

We had fantastic service from Sam and his team at Fresh Fillaz. The sandwiches for my event were so fresh, 3 days later we could still eat the leftovers. Prompt delivery to our venue too. I wholeheartedly recommend Fresh Fillez

We visited Mariners for a birthday celebration. The restaurant was nice, and had a good vibe. We ordered starters, all ok. When it cam to the mains, my husbands order didn’t arrive. By the time most of us had finished, there was still no dinner so we cancelled it. Our table was cleared and apologies were made which was fine as mistakes happen. Clearly the waitress was embarrassed, which resulted in her skirting around us and eventually i had to seek her out to bring the menu for desserts. When we came to pay the bill, what was disappointing was that other than another apology, there was no gesture to compensate for the mistake. If a complimentary round of coffees had been offered or an offer to take a bottle of wine off the bill , I would not be writing this review. But nothing. As it was a celebration, I didn’t want to make a fuss. I stupidly added service to the bill which in hindsight I wish I hadn’t. I accept things go wrong sometimes, we’re human, but how it is rectified is the measure and Mariners failed on this occasion.
