Lovely little cafe in the heart of Ipswich. Friendly staff. Coffee, cheese scone, bacon baguette were great and a special mention for the amazing scrambled eggs. A very simple dish, but so easy to get wrong. Thank you.

The only place in Ipswich to get a decent vegan fry up. Cute atmosphere and nice hosts. Enjoy going semi frequently.

A really great little cafe with very friendly staff, an excellent and extensive menu, also serving super home made dishes all at a fair price. I had a very tasty homemade mushroom soup. I would certainly recommend this cafe and I will definitely visit again.

Very nice all-day breakfast and friendly service.

Despite being very busy they very kindly let me come in for a breakfast when they could have easily turned me away (as they did with several others after id sat down). They have a good selection of food and drink and once I'd ordered the freshly cooked food was soon brought out to me. It was delicious; obviously good quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and all for a very reasonable price (I swapped out mushrooms for black pudding at no extra charge which is rare these day and was also appreciated). I would highly recommend Cafe Myra but would advise booking in advance at busy times to avoid disappointment!

Nice little cafe on this side of town. Very good service. Yummy cheese scone and coffee. Owners care about the food they offer and might even make a sausage roll in front of you. Worth a stop. Note: the door sticks so give it a shove.

The English breakfast was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. And bring married to an “English” husband, I have eaten many an English breakfast! The bangers were very tasty. The proprietress was so pleasant and warm, making me feel at home. She gave information about historic Ipswich and also how she is trying to keep an atmosphere of community with her customers despite some of the economic challenges of COVID’s aftermath. I would come back to this cafe if I lived here. And of course, I’ll come back here if I visit Ipswich again!

Five stars all day long! One of the best Full English Breakfasts I've ever had, with special mention to the black pudding and sausage, which were excellent and quite simply the best I've ever tried. It is clear that this is cooked with dedication, using very high quality ingredients. Even the beans taste carefully home cooked (as opposed to the usual sugary stuff from a can), and the mushroom and hash, also off the charts. The same excellence repeats on the drinks! Delicious black coffee and hot chocolate. I had a second coffee somewhere else later today and kept remembering how good this one was in comparison. Coming back for sure!

Love this place. My family and I are frequent visitors here. Great food with a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a quality breakfast or lunch at a competitive price, this is the place for you.

Came in for lunch yesterday and had lovely home cooked food. Really rare to get good quality stuff like this nowadays 👌

I had gluten-free toast with vegan butter (at no extra cost!!) which was delicious. My girlfriend had the small breakfast which she said was great. Various non-dairy milk options as well! I also had the gluten-free vegan flapjack which was honestly one of the best flapjacks I’ve ever had. The prices were good and the owners were both very friendly!! If/when we ever come back to Ipswich, we’d definitely go back here!!

They have just started doing Sunday lunches. It was absolutely lovely and there was plenty of it. They are a lovely couple who own it, very friendly and I hope they do well. They also do music evenings from time to time which are well worth a visit. You will need to book

Staff friendly and place looks clean, but dont rate the bacon baguette I had bacon was very chewy and the baguette was taken out the freezer and defrosted in the microwave which left one end unable to eat as was hard. I actually didn't know people still defrosted stuff like that in the microwave surely there's a more cost effective way to make these baguettes nicer. Just to add...I now have tummy ache and feel sick! Dont recommend at all!

This is my absolute favourite cafe in Ipswich. The owners are so welcoming, friendly and easy to chat to. Their fry ups are definitely the best I’ve had and the prices are incredibly fair for the quality. Everyone we have recommended the cafe to has had glowing reviews of it too. Everything we’ve had from here had been delicious, from the smoothies, to the sausage rolls to the cakes and sweet treats. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a top notch all day breakfast or a toastie to take away!

A great little cafe with wonderful owners/staff. The food was very well cooked and tasty and plentiful. The coffee was very good and in a very large cup. Everyone was friendly and it seemed to attract regulars. The cakes looked wonderful and we actually watched the cakes being prepared and filled proving everything was very fresh. I would highly recommend this place and will certainly return.

Dropped in for the first time in quite a while, grabbed a large coffee and quite possibly the tastiest slice of flapjack I've had in years.. in fact I liked it so much I bought a 2nd piece to take home! Really liked the pleasant relaxed atmosphere, service with a smile! Well done to you both. Will be back for more.

Lots of vegan options to choose from including homemade sweet treats! I had a really tasty sticky ginger cake, so light too. This is a lovely cafe with friendly and hard working staff. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely egg mayo toastie, with a salad on the side which mum paid extra for me. They had gluten free bread too, fab. Peppermint tea was delicious. Mum said her tea was good too. Good space between tables. Comfortable seats. Cushions as well.

Nice cafe very reasonable as to affordability, great customer service and they take great pride in their dishes cooking from start to finish. The breakfast menu has many choices and the food tastes great. I would recommend a visit here and it's value for money.

A great all round experience - friendly, welcoming atmosphere with lovely service and quality food! Our breakfasts were cooked exactly to our individual preferences which in itself was quite a challenge! The atmosphere the owners created in the cafe meant that the four of us all had a really enjoyable experience and only wish we lived in the Ipswich area as we most definitely would be regular visitors! We were also delighted to be able to buy some edible snowmen for our grandchildren’s Christmas Stockings which the owner had made and I also highly recommend!

We both had a small breakfast which was the perfect size. It was really delicious and set us up for the day! The owners were very friendly and the café has a lovely atmosphere. I couldn't resist a brownie to take with us, and it certainly was extremely chocolatey!

This cafe has become the go-to brunch spot in ipswich, always feel so welcomed with delicious food (the eggs Benedict is my fav) fair prices and warm smiles! We always end up walking away with another plant from here too which is the cherry on top. A must go for anyone looking for a happy place in Ipswich!

At the end of August I made my first trip to Ipswich since Lockdown, and was keen to visit Cafe Myra again. I was delighted to find that the cafe was still being run by the same friendly people, and that the coffee and cake were as good as ever. I hope to return soon.

Have been enjoying this cafe up until now. However, went in for breakfast with my autistic partner this morning and felt very unwelcome as the owners were making jokes about “care in the community” and “licking windows”. Will not return in future.

We were just visiting Ipswich for the day and wanted some lunch. We spotted the colourful chairs outside Café Myra and went over for a look at the menu. There was plenty of choice - sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes and more substantial dishes like spaghetti bolognese and chilli con carne - so we went inside where we were greeted by the friendly owners. I had a salad which was enormous, full of variety and very tasty. My husband had a baguette which was so full he had to eat it with a knife and fork! No room for any of the lovely looking cakes unfortunately but we would definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

This is an amazing Cafe, we came upon it by accident while looking for somewhere to have breakfast. It is now the first place I'd go to for anything to eat. Really friendly, food is fantastic quality, great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit 😁

So glad I accidentally found this café. Great food. LOADS of choice for everyone: veggies, vegans, omnivores, carnivores, lactose-intolerant, gluten-free-ers! I went for a coffee and stayed for lunch. Had veggie cooked breakfast and wasn't sorry (although should have ordered a small one as the large was HUGE!) Family-run and reasonable prices. What a gift this place is! Small but perfectly formed.

We visited the cafe for breakfast before setting off home after a 2 night break in Ipswich. My husband ordered the small full english breakfast and I chose the mushroom hollandise - both freshly cooked and were absolutely delicious. We also chose 2 of the sausage rolls as a picnic lunch to eat en route home, which were very large, really meaty and again delicious. We didn't need anything else to eat they were so filling !! We did also buy 2 of the large cheese scones to eat at home the following day which were very tasty, you can really taste the cheese. The cafe is in a good location and has a very friendly atmosphere, its nice to see that they have a regular local clientele. The menu offers a good selection of food at reasonable prices both for takeaway and eat in. It is a small cafe but I noticed that you can reserve a table if you have a particular day/time in mind. When we return to Ipswich we shall definitely be returning to the Cafe Myra.

What a charming little cafe, I ordered the small all day breakfast and it was lovely the portions are large and the quality of the food excellent. The staff are very friendly and professional I saw the sausage rolls on the counter they were huge and I wanted one but so full from breakfast so the staff suggested I take one for later so glad I did it was really the best sausage roll I have ever eaten

Quite a small cafe but what I had was delicious - coronation chicken baguette and a chocolate brownie. Yummy! Lots of choice from a full range of breakfast style (full English, various egg dishes), sandwiches, quiche and salad, baked potatoes and then good selection of cakes and savoury bits - the sausage rolls are pretty big and really meaty. Proper homemade sausage rolls. The cheese scones are also big. Friendly staff as well. Reasonably priced and a good place to pop in for lunch

Myself and my partner stopped here last weekend for coffee and a brownie. Despite it being near the end of the day we received fab service, the brownie was DELICIOUS and the company was great too. Great to meet you guys and wish you all the luck! We will stop by next time we're in Ipswich.

First time visiting and will definitely be going back. Just stopped by in passing and had a toastie and coffee. Both were really tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced. There was other food on display like cakes, scones and the biggest sausage rolls I’ve ever seen which all looked delicious. The staff were very friendly and it’s nice to support a local business.

Went for the first time today and ordered an Oat Milk Latte and Sausage Roll to takeaway coming to £6.15. The sausage roll was homemade and the best I have had locally from anywhere well worth the money, this alone I would come back for. The only reason for 4 stars was the coffee didn't taste good guessing this was due to using the wrong kind of oat milk for a latte but not sure and it was quite a wait for such a small order.

All can say is so welcoming and made to feel comfortable, food was gorgeous tate great and good value for money. It's a must stop
