Now called Harvest Moon, this cafe has delicious plant-based food, imaginatively presented and reasonably priced. Lovely selection of cakes and biscuits. Friendly and helpful staff.

We really liked it here the menu was large enough to choose from but not too much choice either. The drinks and cake counter looked delicious too. We opted for the brunch menu as sadly the full lunch menu wasn’t available on the Wednesday only soup & bread but it was tasty and filling We would like to come back for lunch a great atmosphere and all made in house from scratch with good quality ingredients too so we really liked that about it. On a single level mostly and a kids /family section and a toilet to the back of the cafe too.

Hullabaloo takes me back to being vegetarian in the 80s - a time before fake meat was the default option. It's so refreshing to have real food used in an imaginative way. The Capel mushrooms are highly recommended. Lovely atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

We have visited this lovely cafe many times and always find the staff welcoming and helpful. It is in a very independent street close to the Waterfront of Ipswich. We always enjoy the cosy atmosphere and quirky decor. My wife has a gluten, dairy and egg restriction but it is never a problem here as all the food is cooked fresh and homemade by the owner. The food here is delicious with an unusual twist to everything and great for people with allergies. It is a family friendly place with a little room set aside for parents and children, but also very much a relaxing place for couples and singles alike. The owners are usually on hand for a welcoming chat.

We met vegan friends for lunch. The choice of food was difficult as it is all homemade, inventive and excellent. Mushrooms with a cashew sauce on sourdough bread was delicious, as was the coffee and pistachio cake.

The best toasty I have ever eaten. Their own micro bakery bread and a festive filling. Great coffee too. The cafe lacks good ventilation and the windows could do with a simple wipe down to remove the condensation. Or just open a window. Definitely one to visit

Our first time here. Excellent food and good wine list. Only had Sunday lunch but couldn’t fault the beef short ribs and sea bass dishes. Service could have been better had to prompt the waitress for my wine order, she was pleasant but a bit absent perhaps a late night the night before. Friendly team overall but a bit off putting having the fires lit and maintained whilst we were sat close by. Perhaps get the restaurant ready before guests arrive. Overall the food made up for minor shortcomings so would definitely recommend and will revisit.

I’ve been meaning to visit here for a while now, as always hear good things & it’s always busy when I walk past. I wasn’t disappointed! Mu friend and I visited on a Sunday morning in November, around 11.30. Luckily we got the last available table! Which was outside, with a lovely view. It was a warm morning, but there were blankets just incase. I went for Smoked salmon Pan De Cristal & added a poached egg. Really generous portion size and a generous amount of tasty salmon, fresh rocket etc. I really liked the dill oil on my bread, absolutely lovely! 😋 To drink I had a tea ☕️ (Pictured) My friend had Chicken Pan De Cristal and a smoothie. I’ve added a photo. Really nice atmosphere, you’re not rushed at all. Friendly staff, especially the owner, who has a great sense of humour. He made me laugh when he told my Spanish friend how to order 😊 An absolute Gem! I can see why it’s always packed! See you again soon 😊

I visited this excellent real ale house in ipswich I visited it on Sunday, 17 April 2022 Excelen building and drinking rooms excellent outdoor drinking facilities Peacefully adorned next christchurch park ans if like real ales A must to visit when in Ipswich Nice friendly staff on when visited Friday 15th November 2024 Today, I revisited this 4 roomed wooden floored gem and was again a credit to come into. There were 4 real ales on, and this pub tonight was packed there. There were people even in the outdoor drinking areas The pub was a magnet for real ale drinkers tonight. Please keep the real ales and the standard of the pub ip to its current situation all involved
