Occasionally visit this branch. Usually for a take away latte or iced latte. There’s a few tables outside, what a beautiful view! (See photo) I had a medium iced latte, absolutely lovely. Reasonably priced, £3.30 I think. About £3.70 for a large. My friend had a Caribbean Smoothie. Made to order with frozen fruit. About £4, I think. Lots of seating inside, comfortable looking chairs. Quiet, calm atmosphere. I’d recommend, especially on a sunny day! I’ve since returned, we upstairs this time. Amazing views especially if you’re lucky enough to get a window seat! I had a medium vanilla latte, £3.90. My friend had a gingerbread latte and a cheese scone (pictured)

Awful dry cake that wasn’t edible and iced coffee that was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. I would definitely NOT recommend. Staff couldn’t even be bothered to put lids on the drinks, instead just dumped them on the tray for me to do.

Worst “Iced Coffee” Ive ever had outside. Not stirred, pieces of coffee and chocolate just floating around the ice and the thing itself tastes horrible. Staff wasnt very friendly either. No wonder why we are the only people here on a nice sunny day.

Good coffee and cake, lovely location

Setting is nice, different to standard coffee shops, coffee was good also. We had to clear a table for ourselves. We ordered bacon and sausage rolls and it was awful. Streaky bacon was a solid cold crispy lump and the sausages were as thin as the streaky bacon. Toasted dry roll. Go for coffee but avoid any food.

I come here most mornings that I'm in the area - always fantastic service, a nice student discount and sometimes I enjoy their breakfast deal which is really good value! The quality and quantity of the bacon is absolutely fantastic, and the white hot chocolate can be nice too :)

Is a quiet place for serving with a nice view from first floor. The only thing what I don't enjoyed to much was the coffee what was nearly a tea than coffee

Coffee Link Neptune Key, The place to be. Lovely staff, full of fun and festive cheer 🎄🎅. I called in for a hot drink and light lunch.. There is a great range of light snacks, cakes and toasties from which to choose..I was invited to take a seat and the staff brought my toastie and flat white to my table. I was impressed. Would recommend and definitely use this little gem again.

Ideal for a quick - no fuss snack or just coffee, very quiet when we were there, nice views outside.

My friend and I had been staying in Suffolk for a week’s holiday and decided to stop off in Ipswich on our way home. We parked at the Marina right by Coffeelink. We’d never head of it before but as we were gasping for coffee and cake, we went in. The staff - Kamilla, Ilana, and Alex - were on our order immediately and our coffee and cake were served in double quick time. We’d been stopping for coffee all over Suffolk during the week, and it had been slow service at times, but we were very impressed with the speed of the service and the standard of the coffee. We came back for a panini before we went home. That was just as good.

They always seem to struggle to get my order right 🤔🤔

Pleasant staff good service nice coffee

Two espresso coffees, snd millionaires shortbread. Service was fairly good, location good, coffee was wau better than many.

With such good reviews we headed to try this café out. Alarm bells should have rang when no one knew what a Cortado was...(or even a Piccolo just in case they knew it by a different name). But having displayed on their menu board a Risretto coffee (which is a short pulled expresso). I was impressed. But oh no... just take a look at my expresso image...which I ended up ordering to be on the safe side, thinking that you can't go wrong with a simple expresso. But apparently you can. Sadly tasted so watery, and so bitter and burnt... I couldn't even finish it...I was too embarrassed to ask the very nice lad to make me another... Please use freshly ground coffee... that's what makes a good crema...expresso with no crema is not a drinkable coffee. Expresso should never taste bitter or burnt. Even so ...staff was friendly... Three 🌟 for great staff, but alas certainly not barista trained.

We had coffee, tea, cake and scones - the food and drink was lovely and the service excellent. Great views of the marina. Thanks and we will be back!

Had a peppermint tea over looking the boats and buildings. It's change a lot since I was young. Good coffee, latte, cappucino. Cakes and snacks too. Cold drinks available.

The millionaires shortbread is the best I've ever had! Butter used in the shortbread and cadbury chocolate on top,generous caramel middle!!! Hot chocolate and peppermint tea were great too service just lovely, all nice and clean Not what I had expected on the inside nice and cosy chilled our cafe

I popped in for sme take away croissants the other day to eat on my boat. Sadly by the time I was eating one we had left Woodbridge. My croissant and the other I had bought was almost inedible. It was heavy tough and stale . Most disappointing as I had paid £3.40 for something that went overboard.

Many years ago I was chasing Swiss Water filtered decaffe coffee. The owner sent me some. Today I went to the source and bought some more, plus some Ethiopian ground coffee. Lovely ptoducts, helpful staff.

They serve a mean cup of hot chocolate, which is great for a pick-me up on a cold day.

Walked in for coffees and food carrying our tiny little pup but not allowed upstairs although that is not a food preparation area sat downstairs. Two cappuccinos, terrible coffee all milk with no coffee taste, then came the two high priced brie and bacon Panini's almost broke out teeth toasted nearly all the way through like concrete. Never again

We enjoyed our coffee and food, and the staff were just lovely people. Like the previous reviewer my companions and I did find the Waterfront a bit too grey and all concrete without any plants and I am sure this will be addressed to improve the waterfront to make it a place for people to keep revisiting often.

I'm always surprised that this isn't much busier. The coffee is great and their is a nice balcony platform upstair where there are lovely views of the river. The staff are not always on top of things but always fairly quick service. The one thing I would say is that the food choice of sandwiches etc. is never very exciting but would highly recommend for a coffee and a pastry/scone etc.

I have used this place few times and if you want a milky coffee maybe are at the right place , as good location but if you like espresso like me , is too bitter not a good quality coffee at all , like burned , I know my espressos and usually I drink them without sugar but this one even after 3 sugars is so bitter , espresso cup is filled right to the top and has no appeal but looks like coloured water

Lovely little café. Good selection of food available. Limited seating but has an incredible view. All reasonably priced. Would recommend!!!!!

Good coffee great cakes good service, right on the waterfront and ideal to watch the world go by. Only issue would be I think they only have one wc, and the upper part of the cafe is not disable accesible

This is absolutely the BEST coffee in Ipswich. Local roastery and great choice of a variety to suit everybody. Lovely upstairs area with great views over the Marina. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Nice service, good coffee and yummy cake before our trip down the river. Toilet available too. Outside seating if you want but pretty hot on day of my visit.

I always visit Coffeelink on my trips to Ipswich! The coffee is really good and actually roasted in Suffolk. The staff is always very kind, helpful and happy for a chat. The food is also very good and tasty (scones and bacon rolls are probably the best)! The site is a little lovely café with stunning views to the Quayside and actually is very tidy and clean. I totally recommend you to pay them a visit of you are in the area!

I popped in for a quick coffee and cheese scone whilst visiting the waterfront redevelopment. The coffee was very nice and reasonably priced but the cheese scone was not so good (didn't try anything else). Service was friendly and prompt

Lovely little cafe which serves a variety of lunch time food. Reasonably priced and nice and small which was quiet so I could concentrate on work. Would visit again if coming to Ipswich.

Came with a friend for lunch. Has both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views over the waterfront. Had a great range on the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very relaxed environment. Would recommend!!!

I was served by a guy in his 20's and he almost made me miss my train because he was too busy chatting with other people to prepare my order. Gave me half of the money back and I left without having lunch because my order wasn't ready. Disgusting.

We stopped to have coffee here on a recent visit to Ipswich and the waterfront. We found seats upstairs and were pleasantly surprised! It has a library, newspapers and a lovely view to watch the boats. The coffee was very good and we were glad we chose the cafe.The staff were pleasant and efficient and we would go there again.

Good tasting coffee, a little pricey. Nice staff and good service. There is a nice atmosphere within the coffee shop but the area outside it kind of ruined the experience because it was grubby and full of litter (I know this isn't a reflection on the coffee shop's performance, however it still impacted on my visit.)

I really like this place, good choice of options available for both food and hot drinks. Only downside is lack of seating downstairs - not highly accessible for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

You get a sense of peace and harmony, a place to relax and enjoy the view upstairs of Neptune quay. The service is good and I think there coffee tastes better then ones you get from starbucks/ neros etc.

Went here today. The view is excellent, overlooking the river, and the baristas are very friendly and helpful.

Coffeelink serves great coffee, with a wide selection of snacks, especially sandwiches and cakes. I chose the espresso, with a hot panini, and both were delicious.

Took the bus ride for a scenic view from Felixstowe. This was the first coffee shop that we found on arriving at the Marina. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. We took the coffee and toast upstairs for great views of the Marina. The coffee was pretty good but the toast was a trifle underdone and rather soft. However,overall it was a pleasant relaxing experience.

Had a lovely iced coffee , sat upstairs on the comfy seats (would advise get rid of the hard seating). Lovely ambiance nice staff

We took time out on our visit to Ipswich waterfront for a coffee here. We went to the upstairs area where there are large windows overlooking the river and such comfortable bucket chairs.

Coffee link is in a nice location on Ipswich marina, with a few tables outside. Coffee is OK, service fast. Toilets are available for customers.

The food and coffee are equal to many other coffee shops in the area , price wise it is good value . The difference is that they have a library of books to enjoy with your coffee and a view to die for whether day or night. The staff are helpful and you may need coffee brought up to you on the first floor as the steps are not easy to negotiate while carrying a tray of coffees. Worth a visit just to get away from the usual coffee shop experience.

Coffee link served a nice coffee and was within walking distance of the university. The large picture windows provided a nice view of the marina.

I have been coming to this coffee shop for a number of years now and it's still as nice as the first time. A nice stroll along the waterfront then in here for a coffee and cake, a nice view over the yachts, favourite coffee shop in Ipswich.

It's easy to see why this place has such a large crowd or regulars, from Sunday walkers to the book club.

I needed to have a business meeting recently and decided on CoffeeLink having never visited it before. The entrance is very dark and quite narrow but once I'd entered I realised there was light and airy seating overlooking the marina to the left, up some stairs. This was a lovely area and my client was extremely impressed by the view. I was extremely pleased, as I'm not a coffee drinker to find they served Rooibos tea - my only small complaint was I'd have loved it to be served in a teapot rather than a bag in a cup. With free Wifi and newspapers do try it and don't be put off by the dark entrance!

I really like Coffeelink. Pleasant staff, good coffee, nice treats/cakes and so forth. Have had coffee and cake here many times and never lets me down. However, I will say it’s a little expensive although the location is terrific.

Sunday morning and out for a walk around Ipswich, as I was walking along the waterfront the aroma coming from this establishment drew me in, I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who was very patient whilst I decided what to have. Deciding what coffee to have was easy but the choice of cakes and buns was taking its time. With order taken I found a table and relaxed, very nice Coffee House in a nice part of Ipswich. I will be visiting again, next time you are passing pop in and try.

This may be Suffolk roasted but badly so. After a long train journey I ordered a decaf coffee and was unable to drink it. It was virtually tasteless, weak, not properly tampered, etc. I exchanged for a cup of tea so didn't get my money's worth.

Clean little coffee shop, with beautiful pieces of art work on the walls and a great view out the window over the harbour plus wonderfully polite and cheerful service what more could you want from a coffee shop! I have frequented this place regularly for many months and am always greeted by a friendly face and am never disappointed by the food, drinks or price. Only one toilet, but it is downstairs so accessible.

Interesting coffee shop which includes a "library" of books. The coffee is good but the paninis could be better ( cheaper than most coffee shops though ). The main seating area is upstairs and the steps make it difficult to carry the tray without spilling the coffee .However the view once upstairs is second to none in Ipswich as it overlooks the marina. Courteous staff and comfortable seats plus the quiet location make it a good place to recover after shopping in the town.

Shuts when it feels like it, despite sign saying open until 20.00. The staff give a host of reasons all rubbish so given up going as can't be bothered parking to find they want an early night

I have been to Coffeelink a couple of times now and have enjoyed my visits.

Coffeelink is on the beautiful Ipswich Waterfront with views of the mariner. There are comfy sofas and tables and chairs. The cafe has a lovely relaxed vibe.

It's right next to my boat and the coffee is superb. The ladies who serve us are always attentive and friendly and I recommend it to anyone in need of a tea or coffee when visiting the marina area.

Roasted locally in Ipswich. Nice friendly staff who always great you with a smile. Willing to go that extra mile to ensure you have the best experience possible with a lovely waterfront location. Couldn't get through the day without them!
