Hot numbers at Mill Road has always been my favourite cafe for brunch for the food, atmosphere and location. However, with the menu changes they have every few months , the food in the past year or so has been somewhat disappointing. There is no avocado option at all anymore, and they often run out of ingredients, which leads to eggs on toast or something that I don’t like being the only option. Today I tried the scrambled eggs on toast with streaky bacon, eggs and bread were tasty and well made, but there was too much salt and the bacon was too dry and salty. I would suggest to the owners bringing back some of the amazing dishes you used to have , like bibimbap, burrito bowl, jerk chicken with avocado and corn on bread. And make sure these are available while your kitchen is still open.. Consider also adding nicer options for a treat like scone with cream & jam, banana bread, blondie, almond croissant, pain au chocolat..

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere but food let them down. Waldorf salad had a strange taste. Most unpleasant. Mussels were good but Celeriac mash cold, sent back and returned still cold an ice cold,plate. they said it was purée and should be cold. Menu called it mash.

Ordered Margereta. One of the worst pizzas Ive ever had. Supermarket pizzas are way better than this. Undercooked bland frozen mass with tomato paste and an attempt at cheese.

They need cleaning staff.... It's a nice, cosy, convenient and has a good selection of food and drinks (not tried the food yet). The bar staff are very helpful and friendly. But, it appears there is no cleaning staff. I almost threw up when entering the men toilets because of the smell of urea, it was worse than a multi-storey carpark or a London phone booth by a large factor. The cubicle seat was absolute dowsed in yellow droplets. Utterly disgusting.

I'm here at least once a week! They are the only place to have my favourite beer on tap! I love it 😍

It is disappointing to see that the sockets all have been cut from electricity which is purposely made by this coffee shop to avoid people staying longer! Charging laptop and phones are essential in any coffee shop so it is very unprofessional Disappointed Very bad review and it is deserved

Lovely Costa, it was clean, the staff were quick and efficient. I took advantage of the free wifi and the plug sockets. A good visit.

Excellent beers and atmosphere!

Love this place. Always clean with a well stocked bar. Great if you like sports as tvs are dotted throughout the pub.
