Celebré mi baby shower con té por la tarde en Papillon Coffee House, y no podría haber sido más perfecto. El ambiente era cálido, acogedor y bellamente decorado, un lugar encantador para una ocasión especial. Lisa y el personal era fantástico: genuinamente amable, atento sin ser intrusivo, y tan servicial en todo. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos desde el momento en que llegamos y fuimos más allá para hacer que el día se sienta especial. El té de la tarde en sí era fresco, delicioso y muy bien presentado. Realmente se podía decir que la comida era casera con cuidado - desde los sabrosos sándwiches de dedos a los bollos y golosinas dulces, todo estaba listo. Recomiendo encarecidamente Papillon para cualquiera que busque un lugar encantador con un gran servicio y comida de calidad. Sin duda volveremos!

Lovely coffee and food..Staff are great. They take great care to ensure my dietary requirements vegan and gluten-free are met.

Dropped in with a bunch of cyclists. The manager was very accommodating with our bikes to park around the back of the cafe (the front was a narrow pavement). Limited selection of cakes but the coffee & atmosphere more than made up. Warm & welcoming.

Always a quality local, friendly great selection of beers with lots of different events on.

Food was fine and the cakes are tasty but the service really lets the place down- unfriendly and unwelcoming- the owner does not like babies and definitely not prams! She complained about me using my pram and told me not to change my baby on the bathroom as it’s not baby friendly but offered no other space to change them. Made me feel uncomfortable and sadly won’t be going back or recommending others. Maybe you would have a different experience without a child.

Amplio menú de café sándwiches, panini, desayunos y chaqueta de patatas, además de una selección de pasteles. 4 amable personal encantado de ayudarnos a elegir. Chaqueta de patata apilada con queso y judías con ensalada por 5 libras esterlinas : 95 . Panini de jamón y queso £ 4 : 50 . Caliente y sabroso. Deliciosa tarta de zanahoria compartida y pan corto de chocolate con té y café para terminar. Coste 18 libras: 95 - gran relación calidad-precio. Lo que fue bueno ver fue que alguien apareció solo para usar el baño y dijeron que bien no hay problema. Bien vale la pena visitar si en Bedford

We had high hopes for a nice Mother’s Day breakfast, but unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. We waited 30 minutes just to place our order, then were told there would be a 45-minute wait for food. In reality, we ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. To make matters worse, some of the items we ordered—pancakes and sausages—were unavailable. When the first breakfast finally arrived, it was cold and underwhelming, and by the time the other three dishes came out, it had already been eaten. The most disappointing part was the avocado on toast with bacon, which felt like a complete rip-off at £8.50. The avocado was spread so thinly it might as well have been butter, and the “bacon” was barely a sprinkle—definitely not even a full rasher. Overall, the slow service, missing items, and poor value for money left us extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning for food or recommending it to others.

One of the best cafes and restaurants I've been to in the area.

The Kings Arms is a fantastic pub - lots of character, great Guinness (with a Shamrock on top!), reasonable prices, good food, regular live music and a friendly feel. I recently hosted an event there and found the venue and catering absolutely perfect. The outdoor area and parking at the rear , given the pub’s location in the middle of town, were a real bonus also. Sean, the Landlord, was extremely helpful throughout and the service we received, and his care and attention to ensure everything went smoothly at a difficult time (it was a Wake), were second to none. He is very experienced at what he does and once I explained what I wanted I felt I could then forget about it and focus on the other things I had to do with 100% confidence that I wouldn’t be let down. I couldn’t recommend the Kings Arms enough, first and foremost as a pub, but also as a venue for your catered events and gatherings. Many thanks again Sean and all the Team.

Great selection and choices on the menu at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere. Large car park. Level access.

Great quality food at excellent prices. We were doing a walk in Carlton and made a last minute booking. So pleased we did. Received a warm welcome and excellent service too. We will be back for more.

Un cachorro real que visitamos un par de veces a la semana. Allí la noche de pescado y patatas fritas es genial a un precio razonable y muy sabroso. Mientras que los pubs de los pueblos cercanos se han deshecho de las mesas de skittles, el de aquí es uno de los puntos culminantes del pub. Pude jugar la mayor parte del tiempo con juegos de eliminatorias la mayoría de los viernes y domingos. Las bebidas son un buen precio y el propietario y la casera son encantadores al igual que el resto del personal del bar. Un encantador pub donde te hicieron bienvenido y saben tu nombre.

Me encanta este lugar es increíble. El personal siempre es genial. Muy útil. El mejor ron de especias que he probado. Vale la pena visitarlo!
