Lovely pub and great for meeting friends. Spacious. Just one problem is parking. I will definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere and very friendly place to meet and have a drink, very helpful staff as well.

Always great for food and drinks. Had a very full bacon and egg in a large soft bap for lunch. It was also served with a very tasty fresh salad and dressing

I've been a regular here for years. Great food and Sunday lunches, good selection of drinks, and friendly staff. It has strong reputation for good live music at the weekends.

Great pub! Very friendly staff especially eva, very attentive and makes sure you are well looked after at all times. Sean is an amazing landlord who also looks after you very well and overall the pub is beautiful, very well maintained, everyone is friendly and they are also dog friendly and ensure your dog is very well looked after. Their food is delicious, especially their sunday roasts! 10/10, would recommend if you want a top tier experience and great food

We popped in on a Sunday lunchtime and had a lovely meal. Food was freshly cooked, staff friendly and helpful.

I WENT FOR A SMALL BEER AND I WAS SHOCKED. Local musicians came with instruments. The sound of the instruments... And the singing. I recommend...

Popped in a few times Nikos and Ashley are always welcoming and friendly. Was recommended the wine and dine menu which we saw at their sister pub the Flying Horse. Was absolutely lovely.

Had a great experience when I visited The Kings Arms with my family, great selection on the menu to cater to my families needs dietary needs which is nice. The food was great and served with a smile by our lovely waitress Scarlett. We have visited the Kings Arms before and there is always a brilliant atmosphere and the whole experience today was lovely. My family and I visited the Kings Arms in February 2024. We are a party of 4 - 3 adults and a 14 month old baby. Our waitress was so welcoming and I especially liked how she valued my baby as a customer. She brought him crayons and paper and he also received a free platter of fruit and veg to snack on. We all ordered meals (including the baby) and the starters, mains and desserts were amazing. Flavour and quality with every dish. I felt that it was responsibly priced. We visit restaurants and pay in excess of £125 however a 3 course meal for us was under £100. Gutted I didn’t get the name of our waitress but all of the staff we came across were friendly. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Highly recommend a visit

Tuesday nights are quiet but the pub is welcoming and the staff friendly. Drinks reasonably priced.

Didn’t even this know this place was here. Was met by Nikos the Manager and the waitress Ashley was awesome. Can recommend the steak and Malbec Pie was lovely. Best cocktail Pina Colada.

Had our 1st Sunday roast here yesterday (definitely won't be our last)!! Fresh, tasty and hot 😋 plenty meat and large bowl of seasonal veg. Little extras like horseradish and mint sauce provided automatically without having to ask, ho a long way. Service friendly and welcoming. Thanks

Wonderful place to go and have a meal and a drink, the manager and all the team are very welcoming. The pub garden is very well looked after and a great place to sit and relax. Good place to go for a weekend and listen to some great bands. Will be returning soon .

We called in here on a Friday evening before dinner as it was very close to the hotel in which we were staying. We had two glasses of Pinot Grigio for £9. It was a pleasant traditional pub with good staff.

Popped a group off us for a drink service was very good. Sat in garden good atmosphere but then somebody turned the music up a couldn't hold conversation that was only down side

Popped in for a Sunday roast. Not only was the good beautifully presented, it tasted devine. Well seasoned roasties and al dente veg, succulent pork and beef with perfect Yorkshire pudding. Great value for money, warm friendly atmosphere, highly recommended.

Extremely expensive. We ordered 2 beers and 2 Sunday roasts we were charged 40 pounds. The food is not quality worth the money and the soda water from the tap is charged as a normal drink. I don't think I will ever visit this place again.

My local, best landlord in Bedford. Friendly, simply my favourite pub in my beloved town. Can do all occasions, I’ve had work do’s, birthdays, sports, all events including Saint Patrick’s day all great times. Bands most Saturdays and a fab cook (Sean landlord is the chef superb). Recommend for anyone!!!

we went in and had to wait 10 minutes for our table even though we had booked. i ordered baked mushrooms for my starter and there was still mud on almost all of them, i had a lemonade and it wasn’t fizzy and had zero lemons flavour because it was plain water that tasted like chlorine. me and my dad got a dirty burger and he had no mayo in it and barely any bacon compared to me. the chips on the side of my burger were uncooked and soggy. then i asked for a trio cheesecake and they said they only had caramel and had run out of the other flavours that were supposed to be in it, although 15 minutes later i saw someone get given a trio cheesecake with all the flavours, my brownie had ice cream on the side and i was given it completely already melted and covered all over the brownie. the plates that were on the table when we arrived were dirty, covered in food and ketchup. We also had to wait 20 minutes for the waiters to ask us what we wanted for dessert to the point where we had to go to the bar and ask. A one star is kind.

Traditional town pub, with decent real ales. Few other pubs in this immediate area south of the river Great Ouse, though it's just a few minutes walk from the town centre, so easy to reach across the bridge. Closed Mondays.

Shawn runs a great pub, brilliant music and food is fresh. We have enjoyed afew good events there just recently. Bar staff very friendly too.

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for about 4 hours + and had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with the guvnor. Its a friendly well managed pub with great Guinness and a good selection of other beers, largers and spirits. Its the oldest pub in Bedford and would recommend a visit.

We were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast lunch in Bedford and we found a great place here! We regularly have a drink here but didn't even know they served food. The landlord cooks it all from scratch and it was a very generous meal for a good price. With some trad puds if you still have room! Thanks Sean and co!

I was very disappointed in the service on Mothers Day. Our table of 8 was booked at 7pm and our order wasn’t taken till 8pm. The service was very slow overall and the fish and chips tasted watery. We did not leave until 22.30 and...

I'm not a pub going person. I went to a covid delayed wake for a work friend who past in the early stages of the covid pandemic in 2020. Being an old traditional pub it's quite small as you'd expect so we managed to pretty much take over the place. Car park at the rear is tight especially for larger cars or vans. No complaints, but nothing to right home about. It's an old style British pub, exactly what you expect.

Great proper pub. Really friendly atmosphere and staff, and one of the best pints of Guinness I've had.
