Lovely cute cafe. The food was amazing and the service we received was outstanding. Well done to Pete and Helen for looking after us. Definitely will be back.

Lovely atmosphere. It's very nicely decorated and clean. The parking is over the road and plentiful. Seating wise 5 doubles and one quad. They serve hot/cold food. A few lunch items and breakfast. Cake and coffee.

We arrived shortly after 13.00pm and waited a while a young man came to take our orders. We ordered 3 coffees and 3 panini, these took almost 45 minutes to arrive and at no time were we told there would be a long wait. When the food was delivered we mentioned that we had waited a long time and that the panini were not very warm, there was an offer to re-heat them but we were at the time running late on a very tight schedule. When asked if we required anything further one of our party said she would like mayonnaise and ketchup that was brought out after a wait of about 10 minutes. We did remark amongst ourselves that the food would be eaten after the extras arrived. Once we had finished our hurried meal we went to pay and the young man said he would not charge us, although we were happy to pay, and that we were banned from going again as he thought we had been rude, what this was about we aren't sure and were extremely perplexed by this comment as we had been regular customers of the Cottage since it opened and had recommended the cafe to many friends as, until today 11th December, we had received nothing but courteous and friendly service and at no time were rude. Also when i visited the toilet there as no paper so I mentioned it to the young man when he took our order and he said he would deal with it. Some considerable time later one of my friends went to use the toilet and there was still no paper, I mentioned this when we went to pay and he immediately replaced the missing paper. At no time was the cafe as busy as ithad been on our previous visits. No apology was offered for this nor for the long wait. All in all such a disappointment. Been served by a sullen young man who obviously wan't comfortable serving us was not a good experience, we felt as though we were not welcome. Whatever has happened to plain old fashioned service. Wonderful surroundings, engaging hosts, superb food, perfect coffee and all delivered with a smile! A very welcome addition to Elstow village and a great place for walkers or cyclists to drop in to for a quick break.

A great discovery. We had no idea that this cafe was here unil very recently, but delighted we found it. Very tasty Mediterranean inspired food, very pleasant host and a warm atmosphere. Deserves to do very well.

This is so worth a visit if you're in the area, such a welcoming team and the coffee was really nice, there was also a great selection of treats on the counter that are very hard to resist, I'm very glad I found this coffee spot and will definitely be visiting again!

went for some takeaway drinks for me and my mum, happy to know they do alternative milks!! will definitely come again and sit in, looks lovely :)

Found this place whilst on a today and popped in for a quick cup of tea and hot chocolate which were both great. Lovely interior and vibe, service was so welcoming. We’ll be back for breakfast soon!

such a nice place for a coffee, very nice staff, very tasty coffee, and I grabbed a bit of cake to take away which was really nice too, very cosy and comfortable inside, its a must visit.

Been many times since opened with various friends and groups. Had panini, soup , delicious cake , toast with feta and poached egg to name just a few things tasted. All excellent. Delightful friendly place . Excellent tea and coffee. Great addition to the village. Nothing too much trouble.

A truly hidden gem. Great staff, prices and food. From bread platters to salads, this place also has a Lovely rear garden, Elstow needed this, good luck!
