Itâs changed its use from music and fun to playing games you have to pay to do! Definitely not going anymore yet it used to be fabulous and popular!

100% Recommend.!!! Great value . Traditional food at an affordable price . Outstanding hidden gem ! 5 stars ***** Great food at an an affordable price. A hidden gem and a must pop in and give it a try âŠ. You wonât be disappointed. All the food was fresh, hot and homemade. It was an old fashioned delight, a traditional place, taking you back in time. Adding to that, the cleanliness was high, all of the staff were fabulous and .friendly. From the initial phone call, to the arrival it was perfect, as the ladies were all kind and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent, with all the team being efficient. No wonder repeat customers were returning. A busy little place, but all the tables were cleared and cleaned straight away, keeping the restaurant tidy and allowing customers in the queue to have seat, as soon as.one became available. Sunday roast fantastic!!! Booking advisable at busy periods, offering a huge free, easy car park for any vehicle size. Overall Amazing and we will be back for sure. Thank you ladies for making it special.

Been coming here for years never had an issue - ordered some kids breakfasts as they love them, at 1pm to be told they were going to stop doing them as too many people were ordering. Yet you could still order something on toast.. Interesting when the menu header is ALL DAY BREAKFASTS - something for the new ownership to improve on

Had a great night with the tallington jetski club listening to an excellent live band (Vex) with brilliant friendly staff. If your close by on a Friday night you won't do wrong by dropping by. Thanks for a great night đ

Normally a place; highly thought of The Station (Platform 3) let itself down when my family visited for a long awaited family meal. Staff appeared lethargic and paid little attention and we should have gone somewhere else. Our order came out late in an empty restaurant. Some forty minutes later after giving in the order and we'd honestly thought of walking out because we'd gone past it! Lame excuses greeted us, as did the food which was as cold as the stare we'd given the waitress when she forgot to bring out the tea we'd ordered with our food...."Yes, Yes oh I hadn't forgotten I was getting round to you." was the pitiful excuse. A shambles really if there was one bright spot my sons enjoyed their food. Service, I am sure you'll have guessed terrible

Called in for a drink and teacake. Very tasty! The cafe was very clean and tidy, prompt service with a smile. Will be even better once the restoration in the market is complete.

Was told this place was good. But i had a different experience. Not only was a very simple order got wrong more than once the eggs were overcooked not runny. It was not busy at the time. Hopefully they was just having a off day. A little over priced as not good

I grew up in Northampton and often come back to visit my sister who lives in the Mounts area. With her house being so near to the town centre we usually wander that way for coffee and end up in one of the major chain cafes out of habit but as today was beautifully sunny we trotted out in a different direction and happened upon this brilliant little cafe. Everything was very reasonably priced (the cakes were so yummy we almost went back for seconds at the price! đ·) the coffee was excellent and the lady who served us was lovely too. We sat out at the kerbisde table and watched the world go by. We're already planning our next trip to try out the afternoon tea...

I have often wanted to sit outside this cafe overlooking the beach/sea but it always seems busy without any spare tables. Today we sat at a spare table and just had a milky coffee each at around 11.00 a.m.. Firstly, the staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee which was very fairly priced was delicious compared to more expensive and pretentious âcafe latteâ at other places. ( Thiscafe does offer lattes anyway!). The cafe was immaculately clean and tables were sanitised as soon as people left their tables. It helped that it was a perfect day for weather. 22 degrees with a hint of breeze. We will certainly go again especially as there were many attractive food items on offer at fair prices.

This place does a awesome breakfast and the staff are amazing. The food is delicious and reasonable. The only downside to the cafe is its not big enough, we've been a few times and there's been no space. But that's because it's so good, everyone wants to go there đ

Had two breakfasts and two teas and cost over ÂŁ20 and I am sorry to say eggs were not cooked properly and the sausages tasted cheap and poor quality and the toast was cheap bread and the tea was poor. Felt vastly over charged and left more than half of our food and tea. Won't be back I'm afraid

Ordered salad, expected it to be fresh and crisp. I did not expect to be severed something with copious amounts of salt in. Completely inedible!

Good music and good value drinks. Have not been for a very long time and it has changed since I last went (no longer serves food and more open plan than it was). Won't leave it as long until I next go,

This is what pubs used to be. Good beer, well kept, and a landlady who has stamped her personality on the pub, and who knows that many people like a drink and maybe a meal in a proper bar with no kids in it. If you think a bar is a suitable environment for your children, this is not the pub for you. If you like a proper country pub with a landlady who gives you a genuine personal welcome rather than a chain pub with a manager and staff trained to greet you following a script, this is the place for you.
