Just had tea and a cake with my lovely work colleague friends. What a gorgeous little tea shop this is. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff armed with a hot sample of winter tea. They also had delicious vegan cupcakes and all of the treats were beautifully presented. To add to the experience, all of the teas, coffees, infusers etc. are available to buy. The shop itself smells of delicious things and the ambience is mellow and inviting. I was so impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of the staff are super friendly - thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon in a perfect tea-lovers heaven!

Wow i visited the beginning of August and since then i’ve been 3 times! The generous portions, tasty food and good value for money are outstanding. The side salad and coleslaw that come with the sandwiches are delicious (I would buy the coleslaw to take home). I love it! I just worry that when the winter season approaches there won’t be enough space inside to sit down even more so with its increasing popularity. Just look at these huge sandwiches with a generous filling!

Just a lovely, quirky courtyard location with a secluded garden vibe. Individual tables and chairs with garden sheds and little cabins all surrounded by trees, shrubs and bushes. We only popped in for tea and toast, but it was beautifully prepared and presented with china cups and a lovely old teapot.

X L ent! First class coffee and cake - unfortunately we did not have chance to have a full meal - but will next time. Well prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff who deserve all the praise considering the the aims of the organisation. Long may they continue and be supported by the public, especially considering the competitive prices.

This is a wonderful spot to have lunch while shopping in beautiful Stamford. The food was first class and the service was attentive, friendly with a a good dose of fun.

Walking around the ground floor of Sinclair's, the traditional, family-run, independent retail shop in the heart of Stamford, Lincolnshire, my ears caught the sound of gentle music coming from the staircase leading up to the first floor. Venturing upwards I found myself being greeted by the smiling Lisa (the owner), and soon after, enjoying a delicious quiche salad. This tea room, cafe, small restaurant, call it what you may, is a delight and for me, a special find. If you're spending time in Stamford, drag yourself away from the Georgian splendour and head for Sinclair's on St Mary's Street. Climb the stairs and you too could find yourself enveloped in the delightful welcome, the relaxing ambience, and the tasty and appetising food that is The Drawing Room. Nicely done, Lisa and team.

My first visit (but can't wait to return) after recommendation from friends. I had spoken to the owner about the possibility of a dairy free afternoon tea and received such a positive response, I booked two weeks ago. We had a lovely selection of savoury and sweet items with cold drinks as it was a hot day. We were offered tea/ coffee or more cold drinks during the 'tea'. Pleasant serving staff added to a most enjoyable afternoon.

We always stop off at this lovely tearoom en route to our holidays in Norfolk. The service is friendly and the food very good and reasonably priced. The cakes are amazing! We highly recommend this characterful tearoom in a scenic village.

Fantastic breakfast, excellent quality ingredients especially the sausage which is a deal breaker for me. Tidy presentation served hot, tea in a teapot and free top ups! Also very helpful and polite staff. Thank you, I’ll definitely be back for more.

Attended after church ⛪️ service ( funeral), Both the gentleman and the lady in attendance were very helpful and kind given the circumstances. They couldn't do enough for all. The pub itself was lovely, definitely I would highly recommend to anyone 😀

It's ok here, not as good as Bourne RUFC, which is just a few miles away

Unfortunately just didn't feel this place lived up to expectations based on other reviews following a visit for Sunday Roast. Warm welcome in the bar, but felt the waitresses in the restaurant were cold and unapproachable. Food was ok, but nothing special with 1 measly portion of veg to share for 6 persons. A disappointment!
