Just a lovely, quirky courtyard location with a secluded garden vibe. Individual tables and chairs with garden sheds and little cabins all surrounded by trees, shrubs and bushes. We only popped in for tea and toast, but it was beautifully prepared and presented with china cups and a lovely old teapot.

What used to be a garden centre and now a lovely outdoor cafe. Plenty of little sheds or a larger area, under cover with the option of a blanket to take a chill off. I had an oatmilk latte with a bagel, both really good. Staff friendly and it's dog friendly too. It is well worth a visit and I will be back!

Tucked away, many of the locals don’t even know it is here. Amazing place with all sorts of nooks and crannies. Plants, pergolas, bric-a-brac and sheds decorate the place. Prices are extremely reasonable for lovely coffee and cakes. A real hidden gem

This little place is a MUST! Sitting in the "Duck" shed, we had the most delicious seeded bagel with whipped, herby cream cheese and cheese and ham toasties with tomato chutney. Followed by huge slices of hummingbird cake. Really tasty. Will definitely be back

We stopped here yesterday for a coffee and a cream tea . Oh wow... the scones had a beautiful crust and were a light texture, all topped with a jam and fresh, tasty clotted cream. You get a large mug of coffee too. The service as very quick and delivered with a smile. There is plenty of outdoor seating available in the sun or under cover. We will certainly be back next time we visit Grantham!

On recommendation I met my niece at the Garden Yard - we parked in the Asda car park and took the pedestrian entrance out of the Asda car park, across the road to the Garden Yard (there was an easy to spot board by the entrance to spot). We wandered through, along through the garden, passing various different covered over outside areas and sheds. It's very sweet and appealing on the eye, there are electric heaters that you can put on, plenty of blankets to cover over your knees. You order your food through a window and this is brought out to you - all the seating is outside, so wrap up warmly if it's cold outside! We chose the home made bread which was served in the big soup cup with sourdough bread - the soup and bread were very tasty. We also had a hot drink and my flat white was excellent. One to recommend!

A wonderful experience. The food is amazing . Fabulous toasties, made with top quality bread and fantastic chutney. The homemade cakes are a must and there is always lots of choice. What makes this place magical is the setting, lots of lovely nooks and crannies to sit in. After filling up on all the delicacies a mooch around all the garden paraphernalia makes a perfect afternoon.

Before my visit I had heard plenty about the garden yard before. How even in winter you can be seated outside and hustle inside a little shed with the heaters having a nice hot beverage. But for my visit with a family of four and the grand parents we booked a cabin table in the middle of June with the sun beating down. My first thought that it might have been too warm to spot in a shed but actually it was nice to be sheltered. Much like the other many hide aways that the cafe offers. You don’t even have to sit in a shed if you don’t want to. There seemed to be a fair amount of smaller tables in the open, surrounded by brick a brac and outdoor plants. We ordered 5 of the cheese and ham toasties, 4 coffees (which is locally sourced from the amazing 200 degrees in Nottingham) and a full round of cakes. It was all delicious and came in good time. The toasties are served on thick seeded granary bread and come with a side of very nice onion relish. We had a selection of cakes. Ranging from the scones to a very mourish chocolate and almond cake. The whole experience was so different to any other cafe around. And we will be visiting again soon. And maybe even try the same visit in sub zero temperatures.

Our second visit today for a cuppa and a cake - how lovely to be recognised from our last visit. Such a great informal and different place with outdoor seating, covered areas and rustic summer houses with sofas. Great service - fast and friendly - limited menu but lovely cakes - had a rustic toastie last time. Would be perfect with a wine licence ? We will be back with our dog next time !

Visited yesterday for the first time and pleasantly surprised. We had coffee and a cheese and ham toastie. Both tasted excellent, service was good and reasonably quick. Seating comfortable and whilst outside we were sheltered from the wind and cold with a heater above our table which made us very comfortable there are even woolly blankets available should you feel cold. The cakes looked scrumptious but I resisted.

Just had tea and a cake with my lovely work colleague friends. What a gorgeous little tea shop this is. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff armed with a hot sample of winter tea. They also had delicious vegan cupcakes and all of the treats were beautifully presented. To add to the experience, all of the teas, coffees, infusers etc. are available to buy. The shop itself smells of delicious things and the ambience is mellow and inviting. I was so impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of the staff are super friendly - thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon in a perfect tea-lovers heaven!

Attended after church ⛪️ service ( funeral), Both the gentleman and the lady in attendance were very helpful and kind given the circumstances. They couldn't do enough for all. The pub itself was lovely, definitely I would highly recommend to anyone 😀
