Crust is a one of a kind dining experience in Lincoln — and maybe even in England — that I recommend to anyone who appreciates a home cooked meal enjoyed in a quirky atmosphere.

I loved this place but it seems it has now closed as I've gone by more than once, on different days and times, and is always closed.

Dog friendly hotel, but not dog friendly bar. Oh, unless you're a 8 week old puppy because it doesn't go on the floor - okay, but if you're touching the floor then I don't want you to make me a cocktail!

Cute little cafe with gorgeous cookie dough bricks. Very friendly service, I will definitely be back.

Its been a long time since i came here, obviously the building is prestigious but that was as far as the pros went. Staff were ok, felt a bit rushed and then when i left most of my food they never came to clear the table, as clearly didnt want to know why id left the food. I ordered a cheese and pickle sarnie. The bread was dry just like chemical bread, didnt seem fresh or homemade. Pickle was from a jar (as i asked if there was sultanas, thinking it would be home made and was told its branstons) coleslaw was bland and at a guess- not homemade! Sarnie was too pickle heavy and had to scrape out as overwhelming. Just very disappointing and over priced for such basic food. Will not be back. Would not recommend

A truly horrible experience for a work Christmas meal. Our workplace booked for a Christmas meal on the 16th December. There were 12 of us and we were looking forward to a meal and catch up at 7pm, so missing late night revellers. Walked in to the premises just before seven to be met with a wall of sound. Pumping base "music" at a level which rendered even spirited conversion problematic. We ended up being placed at a table below some speakers. You could feel your internal organs bouncing in sympathy and glasses moved on the table. I recorded 91 decibels. We asked for the music to be turned down. No. We asked to be moved to another table. No. While waiting for our meal the music was even turned up twice more. Not wanting to bleed from my nostrils I ended up making my excuses and left before the food came. I've never known the place be turned into a nightclub before when eating in there. I will never go there again. I get changing into a club environment later in the evening g but that early when taking large food bookings is a joke. No wonder the hospitality industry is allegedly dieing. This place deserves to put us out of our misery.

We had a really enjoyable lunch date. I am GF & it was lovely to see so many options on the menu. We were greeted & seated straight away, despite the cafe being in full lunchtime swing. It was obvious that the team were working well together. Really enjoyed the food, drinks & service. Had a friendly chat with the gent on front of house. We will visit the new cafe in Newark soon. A good spot to stop and have a coffee and cake if you're in Lincoln. The Drill is an events venue hosting comedians, bands and even a Christmas pantomime. The Limelight is a handy cafe spot open to the public. A nice range of food and cakes with plenty of choice to cater for all. Breakfast to dinner, you'll find just the thing. Our baguettes were delicious, very enjoyable indeed. Recommended.

Such a pleasure to find somewhere serving great food - fresh flavours and exciting menu - at very reasonable prices. Of course an excellent beer menu too and so the tasting paddle boards are a must! Very friendly staff ensured we had an excellent evening. Thank you
