Very old building. Inside quaint. Some old features inside.

One of my favourite small coffee businesses in Lincoln! Staff are super friendly and helpful, the coffee is presented beautifully and tastes amazing (love the little sugar cubes) and the atmosphere is great, with 3 different floors all with their uniquely decorated rooms. My favourite being the art wall where you can add your own mark in the shop. Board games are available and it's a cute spot to study or relax by the window watching people pass by.

I loved this place but it seems it has now closed as I've gone by more than once, on different days and times, and is always closed.

Pretty okay, very slow service and great view. But with a view being the only + there, I will maybe skip them.

Disappointed. The place was freezing due to the aircon blasting out, when we asked if we could have the aircon down we was told “sorry but the rest of the shop gets hot” so basically no! But we will redirect it. The cake was dry and served with pointless overly small folk that was useless, coffee was disappointing. Sorry that out experience wasn’t great but it is what it is. Their reply to this HONEST review is surely a reflection of the character, customer service and maturity offered at such an unfortunate coffee/cake shop, in a field of really quality ones. Poor quality, poor service, poor coffee and poor cakes.

I was looking forward to our lunch at Stokes with my friend as have always enjoyed our visit usually just having a cup of tea and cake etc downstairs. Today we came for brunch on the second floor. We ordered bacon and egg and egg on toast. Unfortunately they had to change my meal as I had ordered brown toast but was given white. When I received my meal my friend had finished hers. Bit disappointed with the meals as they were both cold. We will still come back for tea and cakes on the ground floor, as always enjoyed our visits. Bit of a shame though.

Totalmente amigable. El nuestro tenía salchichas con abrazos. Deliciosa comida, sopa casera era increíble. Personal cálido y amable. Muy recomendable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Caffeine Overload with a Side of Charm Tried a caramel iced latte today with my daughter, and let’s just say… it was less “caramel delight” and more “rocket fuel with ice.” 🛸☕️ We were both ready for a sweet, chill vibe—what we got was an espresso punch in the face. If caffeine could shout, this one was screaming “WAKE UP!” at full volume. Couldn’t taste the caramel through all the intensity, though I’m sure it tried its best to peek through like a shy kid at a party. Poor caramel never stood a chance. On the bright side, the staff were super friendly—like the kind of friendly that makes you feel bad for almost crying into your overcaffeinated cup. So shoutout to them for keeping the mood light while our taste buds went through it. Would I get it again? Maybe with a shot of caramel for every shot of espresso. 😅

Super expensive for 3 small pieces of salmon

Couldn't believe we were visiting the campus and decided we wanted a nice cold drink before travelling back, was basically at told we weren't student and unfortunately it's a student/staff bar only what a shame as this would be a great thing for open days and offer days decided in the end to weatherspoons on the other side of the Brayford Pool

A good spot to stop and have a coffee and cake if you're in Lincoln. The Drill is an events venue hosting comedians, bands and even a Christmas pantomime. The Limelight is a handy cafe spot open to the public. A nice range of food and cakes with plenty of choice to cater for all. Breakfast to dinner, you'll find just the thing. Our baguettes were delicious, very enjoyable indeed. Recommended.

Such a pleasure to find somewhere serving great food - fresh flavours and exciting menu - at very reasonable prices. Of course an excellent beer menu too and so the tasting paddle boards are a must! Very friendly staff ensured we had an excellent evening. Thank you

Gran brunch sin fondo, servicio fabuloso y comida fabulosa con amigos. Las jarras de bebida lo hicieron mucho más accesible. Megan T era un gran servidor.
