Good morning I print this place it's amazing little pub the bar staff are very polite and very nice which is not the issue the door staff well what can I say about that I think some of them not all one particularly the way he believes people because they're downfall and because of their issues and problems I don't think that's fair I think that someone to bully someone just because they fell on bad times is wrong so I am right in this review in two ways one way like I mentioned above the place is amazing Little Pop lovely in daytime calming in daytime nighttime differently I am now been borrowed from every single pub because I had a disagreement with one of the doorstep which probably was my fault at the time because I was having a drink but now because of that I now get bully and flanded from over bars and I am not allowed in any other place at all just because of one night we all have a drink and we all make mistakes it's normal but I walk past pub now and I get abuse on doorstep just because that one night which I will apologize when I have in writing and to face I do not think it's bad because I used to be homeless to be bullied like this in this way that is not fair so the review I'm posting as you see is good and bad thank you

We booked the table for a birthday, the staff were great they ensured we had the table we requested as it was a special occasion and we wanted to stay on to watch the England rugby match. Mason was amazing, he made our experience with his banter and how well he looked after us! He really was great! We were treated like royalty 👑 Would deffo recommend and wouldn’t think twice about booking again! Elliot who also looked after us was great! All in all an amazing day🍻 can’t go wrong - well worth it!

Mason was the best host so attentive and helpful explaining all the options available and in a cheerful and approachable manner.

We came for the bottomless bevvies and wings and was served by mason He was extremely helpful and is very good at his job This boy deserves a promotion!! No request was too small Will happily come here again just because of the service given by him!! He is a credit to you guys and hope you know how good of a staff member you have!!!

Visited on a Saturday evening with friends, was displaying the MIXR app, when I asked to use the points I had earnt, got told I could not use these due to “dynamic pricing” how ever I’m led to believe this is false after being in touch with the MIXR customer service

Met up with some friends, took 15mins to be served at the bar due to slow staff and not enough of them. Ordered a Guinness which the staff half poured then went on to serve 5 other people before finishing it off then had the audacity to charge £6.10 for it. Won't use this bar again

There isn’t many Walkabouts left so had to come in for a drink, great atmosphere the Guinness was nice great for people watching!

Went as a last minute night out, wanted to dance so went here, rather than drinking we just danced. When we decided to get our first drink I went to the bar, the barmaid got the order wrong, I told her she denied it! Then the bouncer came and kicked us out for “being too drunk” we weren’t the bar maid did it because she got the order wrong and didn’t like being told she had! Absolute shambles, then the bouncer wouldn’t let us in to find the 2 girls from the rest of our party, good job none of us were on our own in the middle of Lincoln with nowhere to walk!

Came here for the Euros Final England v Italy.The staff were amazing and really attentive, they came over regularly to keep us fuelled with drinks and food. The atmosphere was perfect for watching the football, but also felt really safe and was managed really well so there wasn’t really any d***heads kicking off, which for an England Euros final was good going IMO! The food was really tasty and really good value. Think we spent about £40pp altogether which considering we ate and was there for about 5 hours, I was well impressed. The only downside to the evening was the result! But would 100% recommend the venue for anyone looking for great food and drink, decent atmosphere and the best sports viewing

Lovely venue. The food was great and a reasonable price. The place is looking tired in parts but you can tell it’s well looked after and pride is taken with in it. The staff were friendly and couldn’t help enough, which was great. We will certainly go again.

Poor service had to order through the app that takes ages, sticky wobbly table. Staff don’t care. Would not go back if it was the last pub in Lincoln.

If you want to download an app to order and it take ages to set up just to order a warm beer go a head. If you like a sticky wobbly table and a warm beer this place is for you. At least we got our money back for the warm beer. The staff weren’t that helpful either.

Arrived at Walkabout today the football was on so loud we couldn’t hear the gentleman telling us the instructions for Covid and ordering. Thankfully this was soon turned to music. I paid for chicken wings rather than pay the deposit as only 99p more. The lady then came to the table and requested more money for them. The whole day was a 50th birthday treat for my friend and I was just embarrassed this happened as they spoke to her and she paid the extra. I could have just paid the deposit of £10 and had it refunded but I gave them money buying them and then they took more...just greedy. The table was sticky too. Glad we only had an hour booked in there. Some staff not wearing masks!!

There's one person who ruined the experience and should be removed from working at the establishment because they're giving it a bad reputation + you can tell he loves kick offs which is far beyond good. It's terrible.It all started before even getting in, the bouncers made the ASSUMPTION that just because we were a group of 5 young lads, we wanted to get drunk and cause trouble so immediately we got 'greeted' with "You're not coming in here lads we're full and it's bookings only""Ok mate so I booked a table for 5 for 8pm"... How foolish and awkward it was watching them then go inside to check and come out to confirm it. Even on the door they gave up lip while waiting, questioning us etc like mate, come on now I just want a pint and a parmi... not a conversation with you over pointless jargon.As we were leaving at 10pm due to COVID Rules, we got given take away cups for our pitchers, so as we approached the door, this little man bouncer approached all of us with the wrong attitude. Instead of asking politely "Have you boys got lids for those drinks? Because the Police would confiscate them off you if you leave here" When he knew FULL WELL we needed Lids but we didn't have any... He decided to try act tough and big like a hard man."If you boys think you're leaving here with them you can think again"What you gonna do man? Take them off us yourself? They're TAKEAWAY cups, the idea is to TAKE.... AWAY.Next thing the other bouncer approaches, taller one, black hair and politely reminds his colleague that we need Lids and went and grabbed us lids. That's how you should approach us. NOT the way the bouncer with little man syndrome did, coming across all aggressive. What if we decided to give him the same attitude back? There most likely would've been a fight when there was absolutely no need.Doesn't look good for Walkabout when the bouncers have to correct each other in front of customers.So it all makes sense now why Walkabout Lincoln is known for kick offs and fights. It's because you employ egotistical men who have something to prove as bouncers. Who thrive on aggression.GET RID OF HIM ASAP!Overall however, we would recommend walkabout IF they got rid of the aggressive, egotistical bouncer that was working on Friday 9th October 2020. It would be a better experience without him.We booked a booth for 6 on Friday 9th October with COVID rules in place. Our time there was great, drinks were good, 2 Pitchers for £12?! Bloody go on son! - Food was lovely, I converted two of my mates to the Hunters Parmis. Delish!Wouldve been a 5 star experience if the bouncer had a different attitude or wasnt there. If I see him on the door again I won't return.

We visited Lincoln for the day while on holiday nearby and stumbled across the walkabout. We were so glad we did. From the minute we walked in (family of 4,7 year old and a baby) we were made to feel so welcome by a bald guy we didn't get his name but he was just brilliant could not do enough for us and made the children feel so welcome. The food was lovely and really good value. But the staff made it, especially in these difficult times. We would definitely come back. So wish we had got the man's name who was so friendly

Had lunch in here on Saturday. The wraps were delicious and a beer included in the price, very good value. Staff were great and pub adhered to social distancing etc and followed all guidelines. Will definitely return if in Lincoln again

Quite disappointed with our first encounter with the waitress who was quite rude and standoffish. Ordered drinks via the app and received the wrong drinks. Informed the waitress and she wasn’t helpful at all. Disregarded what I had said then walked off. Informed another staff member Chris who was ever so helpful. He listened to our problem and said he would try and sort it out. Shortly after Chris returned with our requested drinks. Chris was ever so helpful and even though a busy evening, he took the time to make sure that our evening had not been ruined. The weather wasn’t so great either and he even supplied us with umbrellas from lost property. I couldn’t praise Chris enough. He has been so polite, helpful and has a mannerism of a saint. Chris turned our negative beginning into a happy positive one. Thank you Chris.

After having a waitress with an attitude and not helping us deal with a wrong order, Chris kindly helped us with dealing with the situation and was more than happy to help us deal with this. He was more than happy to help. He even helped us deal with our wobbly table! Great guy and great service he even offered us an umbrella from lost property to use in the rain! What a lovely guy.. he definitely turned our bad experience around!
