Caffe Nero in Lincoln

The coffee is good but the service is not very friendly. I was made to feel like a bit of an inconvenience when asking about the app and how to use it. For this reason, I’d prefer to use the independent coffee shops who offer better service.

Very popular and good location. Good choice of drinks and choices of cakes and snacks. Just wish that some of the customers would remember that not everyone wants to hear their side of a telephone call.

I prefer the coffee here to either Starbucks or Costa. They also have a far better range of vegan food than either although Costa has now teamed up with Bosh bur i prefer the Nero food. Friendly staff nice atmosphere. The best out of the big 3.

OK, great staff, brought my order to the table. But a bit grubby and worn. Expensive for what it is.

Always friendly staff, prefer the ambience and furniture at this Nero compared to the one further up town.

Stopped here with my daughter for coffee. Daughter had Iced Americano, which she enjoyed however my Cappuccino was very bitter despite putting 2 sugars in it.

Splendid coffee. Download the app and collect the points. Located in the precinct area of Lincoln High Street. I usually have an Americano with a drop of milk. Perhaps also a panini which the staff will heat up for you and bring it to the table. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Often quite busy. Toilet facilities are limited.

Caffè Nero is one of my favourite coffee shops now thanks to my best friend who told me about them and how good their coffee actually tastes! I love them more than 200 degrees cafe! Which says a lot as I used to love that cafe. There's something about going there for a coffee which is top quality. I always try to get one before I go to work in town. A little pick me up before work is just what I need. Can't rate them anymore then that really! 😊😊

I've been here a few times, the staff are friendly and the coffee is nice. I think it's a bit run down and tatty inside but it's clean and the toilets are clean.

Great coffee and the staff are consistently (over several years) friendly and welcoming. Sometimes there’s a queue but the staff handle it well. I’ve never had a milky latte my personal nightmare.

Lovely coffee shop, Caffè Nero is well priced and makes decent coffee if you are into coffee. Nice atmosphere, plenty of space to sit after a busy day shopping. Nice and chill inside so relaxed. We both had cake, I had raspberry almond tart, my partner had a salted caramel slice, both were a bit dry. Overall a pleasant place, toilets quite dirty though.

I went to caffe nero Lincoln Wednesday and Thursday of this week, ordered a flat white on both occasions. Both times I was asked if I wanted to try their 'Ecuadorian' blend, and on neither occasion was I advised it would cost me an extra 30p. Guys I appreciate you need to upsell, but you need to tell people the price if you want to do so - putting this out there for anyone else who gets upselled without being told of the cost, which is disingenuous of them

Coffee and chai were pretty weak, not really up to the standard I would expect in a café. Sausage roll and cookie were better. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly enough.

Dont normally use Nero to be honest as I find their coffee a bit to strong and prices a little high for a smaller cup of coffee. Smaller cup compared to say Costa and Starbucks. I didn't eat so cant really comment on their food but it looked good.

We stopped at Caffè Nero for an iced coffee. In the queue for some time. Lots of seating inside and outside. I would have preferred the ice crushed to be able to eat it. Once the liquid was drank I was left with a cut of ice. The straw quality was really poor. Did not last the time it took to drink the iced coffee.

Absolutely loved my visit today as there was some free street entertainment thrown in. I was sat outside on the main High Street side as a large team of tactical firearms officers carried out a hard arrest of half a dozen men sitting at an outside table by the CEX store. So I drank a good coffee, ate a tasty almond croissant and witnessed a very professional arrest at gunpoint being carried out. Marvellous

Really bad. This is a large oatmilk cappuccino. The empty space you see is what's left after foam settled. I've had this 3 times now. No more nero

The coffee is good however it's yet another mainstream coffee retailer who can't be bothered to order in even a single gluten-free cake option.

Coffee was hot and excellent and my sandwich freshly made. I had difficulty in finding a seat because of the many students using the establishment as a meeting place and study area.

Typical Nero food and drink. We only went in because we were desperate to sit down. You need to be desperate to use the toilet, it's the worst I've seen for a very long time.

What you pay is what you get. The coffee is good but expensive. The places usually have nice music but most of the best tables are taken up with people with computers who buy a cup of coffee and use the place as their office. I would rate it 5/10

man who served me was very rude. i was in the middle of asking for something after he asked me what i wanted and he turned around and started doing something else. also the new pistachio iced latte doesn’t even taste like pistachio. food was nice though!

Ok sandwich and cup of tea a little overpriced and a lot of the tables had not been cleared even though it wasn't busy .

Closing time is stated to be 6:30 pm, it is only 17:15 yet they have decided to hurl and pile àll the chairs inside when the place is still busy along with rubbish bags on the floor...appalling and dangerous

I like this chain of coffee stores anyway so it's often my go-to place where not going to a local coffee shop

Decent coffee, and a range of lunch items available. Staff were friendly, and the tables were all cleaned pretty quick. Fairly nice interior but a few too many tables makes it a bit cramped.

Excellent service with drinks etc but we were a little cramped. Not much room for pushchairs especially double ones. No lift to get up to the next level where there was room.

We love Caffè Nero! We go weekly and use our vitality rewards voucher. It has a nice atmosphere and there is always seating. The coconut latte is a favourite!

Amazingly the sofa by the window in the prime location for people watching was available when we called in for an afternoon Joe. The coffee was as good as always and the plant based salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake went down a treat.

I popped in while shopping in town so I could check my list and see how much more I needed to do. I like to spread my custom round different cafes but enjoyed this one I have been 3 times in a row. The atmosphere is nice and altho they have regular familiar customers it's not one of those places where you feel out of place as a new customer. Coffee is lovely, cakes are fab. I will be back soon

Went on the day of Lincoln market. It was the only place that had a table free. Probably no different to shy other Caffe Nero. Food was ok, little expensive for what you get. Coffee is quite rich and bitter compared to say Costa. The one major downside to this specific Nero is that there is one singular ladies toilet. For the whole shop!

Me and my friends popped in for a well needed sit down and hot drink after walking around the beautiful Christmas Market. When one woman with an appalling attitude approach us and in a disgusting tone said "if yous aren't going to buy a drink yous can leave" we all had just only found a table and was in middle of taking our jackets off. To then also proceed to growl "Tell your friend they can't use the toilet it's closed!" However this was not any one from our party of 4. Safe to say we quickly put our jackets back on and took out custom else where! We will never return to Cafe Nero in Lincoln.

I liked it, atmosphere was nice and coffee was good. Solid place 👌
