A Bougie Bottomless! I’ve been doing a little tour of all the bottomless brunches in Lincoln and I can safely say Cosy Club’s has been one of my favourites! The food was phenomenal, the drinks immaculate, and the service superb! Harriet our waitress was absolutely fantastic! She got the memo of what we were aiming for with our bottomless brunch and I cannot fault her service 10/10!! Totally recommend

This is a fantastic building. Even though it is very large, it has a really cosy feel. The vibe was very chilled with a good buzz about the place. A good choice of beers too

Fabulous venue with food and service to match

We went for a bottomless brunch, and they made sure got 100% got our moneys worth! The drinks kept coming! The service was very friendly and professional as always! The food quality was excellent for the price we paid! They were accommodating to any meal changes.

We tried the cosy club last night and we had a fantastic time! Our server was Simon and he was brilliant, so attentive and chatty! I unfortunately had a tooth issue and because of this Simon added bread to my starter as a recommendation but didn’t charge as I wasnt sure I’d be able to eat it and in the end could only eat the soft middle bits. Just a lovely gesture and we will definitely be back because of that. The food was delicious, all 4 of us had something different for starter and main and every dish was very tasty, well cooked and big portion! Great atmosphere as well ☺️

Wonderful atmosphere, good food and outstanding service. Particular thanks to Simon for a friendly welcome which included finding us a table at short notice and to Rhys both for his attentive service and for ensuring we could eat and go before the young grandchildren ran out of steam. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Could benefit from having more bar staff - had to wait about 20 minutes to get served a couple of beers as bar staff were consumed making cocktails. -- Charlotte, it was Saturday night, every table was full, you had two barstaff - you were massively understaffed, perhaps take a little accountability?

Took 20 minutes for 2 coffees despite there being almost more staff than tables… then one of them was cold. If the staff spent more time working than socialising it would be nice as it’s a lovely venue. Shame.

The place is very nice don’t get me wrong! The service is very slow!!!! We’d had the asian chicken salad the chicken was dry and there was hardly any salad ! Sweet potato fries on the side, which were very much overcooked! Overall mediocre!

The Cosy Club in Lincoln is a fantastic spot for studying or catching up with friends. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, offering a refreshing change from the usual coffee shops and restaurants. The prices are reasonable for the quality and experience, making it a great value. Whether you're looking for a productive study session or a relaxed hangout, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommend!

Place is looking a bit tired now, waiting nearly an hour for a table and then another 45 mins for a sandwich. Menu is isnt the best, very odd choices and drinks and some food items are over priced. Nearly £6 for a small dish of roast potatoes. Prob wouldn't be back. Staff were friendly and hard working though

Really nice atmosphere nice big room lovely decor, food was nice and lots of taste, unfortunately it was warm not hot, they were busy, so we shall forgive them this time 😀 we will go back, they found us a seat even though we hadn’t booked so we were lucky to get a seat. I would certainly recommend here, I suggest you book in advance.

We were having a great day out in Lincoln, and decided to go here.. We were quickly given a table and drinks were also quick to arrive. Our waiter Rupert was outstanding and a really nice gentleman, he explained the specials and we all went for the Christmas pie, it was excellent and set us up for a great evening too. Visit here and you won't be disappointed, a beautiful building inside too. Very happy we chose to go here, thanks Rupert!!

Called in on December 27th 2024 for lunch. There were 4 adults and 2 dogs. As always we were attended to very well, the dogs were happily attended to also, with their own service for water. The food was excellent as usual, the staff were very good. We are regulars there for the great atmosphere created by the staff, whether for food or a few drinks. Would always reccomend, and our guests on the day were first timers who loved it and will definitely be back. Fabulous place. Steve Pitt 😎

My grandmother and myself had a great meal in the cozy club a couple of weeks ago. We were served by a young lad who took his time to explain his detailed history of the building whenever I asked him. My nana recently lost her husband, my papa, and came over from Ireland to spend some time with us, she has some serious allergies and is always nervous about dining out. I have never seen her feel more comfortable in a restaurant before, they ensured her they would do everything to make her experience a positive one. It was the small things such as the allergy flags on her food and allergy stickers on her wine that made her feel special instead of a hinderance. So thank you for making a grieving grandmother and grandson feel so welcome and warm at this time of year.

Great little looking place from the outside, but then upstairs you enter a massive space which looks awesome, the food was great although my first choice wasn’t available, the festive pie was really nice If in Lincoln in future it will be a must

Without doubt the worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. The building is really impressive. But that’s where the positives end. We arrived at 10.30 and the restaurant was around half full. There were about 10 members of staff working at the time. We were told it would take some time to be seated and were asked to order a coffee at the bar and wait to be seated. After 25 minutes we still hadn’t received our coffees (there were at least 3 groups who had been waiting longer than us). I asked to be seated at this point, hoping to order food as quickly as possible. After another 15 minutes of being seated we still hadn’t received drinks or had an opportunity to order food. There were plenty of team members around, but the management of the restaurant was terrible. I saw drinks waiting to be delivered to tables for 15 minutes. Several people returned coffee as it was served cold. I can’t comment on the quality of food or drinks as they never arrived. After 45 minutes waiting we gave up. Unfortunately it took another 10 minutes for the manager to find a card machine that could issue a refund for the coffees we’d ordered. Please save yourself the time and avoid this place.

We were excited to visit this place after hearing good things, but our experience was a major letdown due to the terrible service. Despite the restaurant being half-empty, we waited 20 minutes just to be seated. Even then, the service was unwelcoming, as we were greeted by an older man who was grumpy, unapologetic, and clearly uninterested in providing any sort of decent experience. Once seated, we waited another 20 minutes for our coffees, which never arrived. During that time, no one checked in with us or seemed to care about our table. We were completely ignored. After realizing we hadn’t even had the chance to order food, we decided enough was enough and left. To make matters worse, requesting a refund for the coffees we never received added another layer of frustration. What should have been a simple process turned into a drawn-out ordeal that took another 10 minutes of incompetence to resolve. We came in looking forward to a great meal and a pleasant experience, but instead, we left feeling disappointed and frustrated by the lack of care and professionalism.

I visited Cozy Club for lunch this afternoon, having always enjoyed great experiences there in the past. Unfortunately, today was disappointing. My partner and I, both in our early twenties, went in for lunch. It wasn’t particularly busy for this time of year. We were greeted and told to grab a drink at the bar before being seated. However, by the time we returned with our drinks, four other groups had been seated ahead of us. Once we were finally seated, we placed our order and patiently waited for our food. We noticed that all the tables around us were being offered complimentary water, but we were never provided with or even offered any. When our food arrived, my chicken burger and fries were slightly burnt. While this wasn’t ideal, I didn’t mention it as I’m not fussy and prefer to avoid making a scene. As we began eating, no one came over to check if our food was okay, even though we noticed other tables receiving this courtesy. Once we finished our meal, the waiter cleared our plates but didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or bring the bill. We were left sitting for half an hour without anyone coming over to assist us, while other tables were promptly offered the bill. After waiting so long, we decided to stand in the “wait to be seated” area to make it clear we wanted to pay and leave. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was okay overall, despite mine being slightly overdone. However, the service we experienced was truly disappointing. I couldn’t help but feel that it was due to our age, which is unfortunate.

Lovely place, lovely staff, very friendly, we were taking an older member of the family out as a treat, all very hungry, food took an age to arrive and when it did it was luke warm at best, the beans on the big breakfast were dry, the chips with the club sandwiches were almost cold, even though the lad who served it said "I'm sorry you had to wait so long, but I wanted to make sure you got hot fries, we don't do serve cold ones here", how ironic! We did report our disappointment to the waitress when she asked if we were happy with the food, and she said she would let someone know, she did offer to change the meals, but we were too hungry by then to even consider this. This aside, our luke warm food was very tasty. May visit again in the future when next in the area, but lots of other establishments to try in Lincoln, so may be a while.

Waited for 20 minutes for drinks and 90 minutes (total) for food. Was starving by the time it came out so I didn't send it back (I know, my bad), but it was awful. £20 for a pie with cold gravy, microwave mash, and a single chewy carrot and parsnip. One single pig in blanket. Trying to figure out how to post a picture because it really does say it all, my brother burst out laughing when he saw the dish

Visited Lincoln for a night and ate at the beautiful Cosy Club in Lincoln. The building used to be the Corn Exchange building and the decor was amazing. We were served by Josh who was such an attentive, caring and professional young man who obviously took pride in his service. My husband had the Smash burger which was excellent and I had the Mexican chicken which was so tasty and delicious. We loved the ambience of the restaurant which was made especially enjoyable because of Josh’s service and will definitely visit here again.

This review is not about our waitress Mollie she was absolutely fabulous and was put in a really bad position, this review is about the management and kitchen of the cosy club. Mollie warned us at the start that there was a backlog in kitchen that’s fine we know we are in for a wait but the three flat cokes then the three replacements which were no better were the start, when you have waited over 45 mins for food and have given a business the opportunity to serve you given they were having issues you expect things to be perfect this was not the case the coronation chicken burger was tough and the size of a chicken wing and the sweet potato chips were cold the festive burger were as festive as the grinch himself they looked awful we had the drinks and the chicken burger knocked of the bill and both the chicken burger and fries were replaced but that does not change the huge disappointment in our whole time here. I don’t think we will ever return such a shame it’s a fantastic venue but we felt so let down, Mollie I hope your day got better your service was great.

Had a lovely cauliflower massaman followed by an indulgent dessert. Great decor and not too echoey for what is a large hall venue.

A beautifully decorated place, rich in history and stories. With a discreet facade, once you open the door and climb the steps, you will be amazed by the huge and very well decorated room. As large as the place is, as warm and cozy is the atmosphere. It is certain that the smile and the availability of the waitresses have something to do with it. To recommend

A Cosy Experience with Perfect Service and Delicious Food 🍽️✨ Cosy Club was by far the best restaurant we visited during our trip to Lincoln, earning the maximum number of stars from us. While strolling through the town center, we were drawn in by the beautiful building with its high ceilings, and it didn’t take long before we decided this would be our Saturday dining spot. Later, I researched vegan-friendly restaurants in Lincoln, and Cosy Club was listed as the top choice—no surprise there! The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with happy guests all around. But what really made our experience stand out was the staff. Our waiter made a minor mistake by seating us at the wrong table, but quickly corrected it and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered us free drinks. Later, my girlfriend’s dish arrived with the wrong type of pasta. The waiter was incredibly apologetic and, once again, went above and beyond by offering her meal for free. My daughter jokingly said, "If they keep this up, they’ll lose all their money and have to close down!" However, I strongly believe the opposite. I believe that as long as Cosy Club continues to deliver such excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere, their customers will keep returning. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked to have the Christmas menu. Both the food and the service were excellent. The welcome felt genuine we had a delightful afternoon.

Had a great brunch yesterday. Attentive, friendly staff. Good food. When I looked at the bill, I was expecting to see a hefty service charge as seems to be as standard these days. To my pleasant surprise there was no service charge attached, or even mentioned during payment. A good visit and will be sure to visit again soon.

Tuve un problema con mi comida (mi hamburguesa vegana llegó a la mesa sin queso o encurtidos, así que tuve pánico sobre si era incluso la hamburguesa adecuada) pero nuestro camarero, Josh, fue increíblemente atento y comprensivo, y lo hizo mirar enseguida (era la hamburguesa - solo sin las guarniciones). Se disculpó, se aseguró de que me sintiera bien con todo y se aseguró de que mi comida estuviera ordenada. Los errores ocurren, pero siempre voy a dejar una buena crítica cuando se trata bien. Have eaten here couple of times, staff are friendly food is good though a little pricey, very nice however a little too quiet last time on a Sunday evening. Other visits have been Fridays or Saturdays where eit does seem lively.

Food was a little sparse and cold tomatoe ketchup was s cheap one. Pot that beans came in was all chipped so not good experience at all breakfast £11.95 !!! Went tonight my God so so cold think my next visit is in the summer.

The service was absolutely amazing. We had an appointment about 35 minutes after arriving and they did their best to get our food ro us as quickly as possible. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was great and overall the place is very welcoming.

Popped in here for some brunch with a friend. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was busy and so the service was a little slow. But the food was delicious and the coffee was wonderful. We had shakshuka, berry pancakes and Cali brunch.

Absolutely dreadful place! Slow service!! Flat coke. Food nice, but by the time we got it we had to rush it down as we had an appointment to go to! We had arrived in plenty of time! The bald headed waiter could do with learning how to smile.

Went here for a friend's engagement breakfast, lovely place and excellent friendly staff. It can get quite busy and was mobbed when we arrived, thankfully we had booked. It's a bit pricey for the amount of food you can get but the food was tasty. Overall a lovely place to eat and visit if you're in the area.

I cannot fault the place or people! It was completely understandable that we had to wait slightly after our booking because it was a very busy Saturday night, however our waiter, Jake, was absolutely lovely, brought us Prosecco on the house because I was celebrating a once in a blue moon night off, and gave us amazing service. The rest of the staff were lovely too, our food was incredible and the rest is history! :) Leaving tonight very full and very happy

We were very impressed with the cozy club. A very general compliment is "friendly staff" but in this case, it's very true. Everyone seemed happy to be there and were very chatty and polite.

First time here in a long while and was not disappointed, it felt posher than before! We had 4 small plates between 2 of us plus some flat bread which was a good meal. Love the cocktails here too, cherry bakewell is my favourite. Service staff were very attentive, well mannered and helpful. I love the decor, it's such a cool hip vibe. The food was delicious, loved the truffles, very tasty.

Food portions small and expensive, wine at £10 a glass.....shocking . Won't return. Plus point .. lovely young lad served us

I booked a table for my dad’s 50th birthday and it couldn’t have been better anywhere else. A really big thank you to the staff for being so accommodating and friendly. You made his big day really special and memorable.

I booked in a table for 7 friends and myself, as it was my friend's birthday and we wanted to plan a nice meal for her. Upon arrival, we said that we had a booking under my name. However, despite having booked twice as the first time my booking didn't register, I still didn't have a booking. Fortunately, after a short back and forth, the manager sent my friends and I to the bar for a round of drinks on the house. The bar staff was wonderful and professional, and the drinks were perfect. After only 15 minutes, our table had been sorted, despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly. Our waiter, Josh, came over soon after and introduced himself. He was amazingly friendly, personable, professional and efficient whilst still taking the time to interact and have a laugh with us. We couldn't have asked for a better waiter, so huge props to him for the entire duration of the experience. Around the time we ordered our food, we were also brought 2 bottles of prosecco, which was a wonderful surprise. The food took around 20/25 minutes to arrive, but for 8 orders it was very prompt. The food was outstanding. We had a range of food, from burgers and sandwiches to pasta and pancakes. Absolutely no complaints from anyone, clean plates all round. For the most important part, the bill; it all came to much less than I was expecting, considering we each had a main. There's an optional 10% service charge on top for parties of 8 or more, which we were all more than happy to pay due to the excellent service we'd received. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a mid-level dining experience. Great atmosphere, service and outstanding food.

The garlic bread and ravioli were good, but I wasn't impressed with the portion sizes. All in all, a vibrant atmosphere, but I don't think it was worth £25.05.

Beautiful restaurant with separate vegan and gluten free menu (although could do with a few more options). Unfortunately the vegan burger was sold out, so went for the massaman curry.

Food and drink is good and lovely environment but we were eating in the bar area and the tables were not numbered so there was some confusion with the guys delivering the orders to the correct customers.

Our server (JacobH) was an absolute delight. He was incredibly professional but also personable, and just genuinely came across as such a lovely person in every interaction throughout the night. It was very warm that evening and we didn’t envy him working in that kind of heat, but he never once lost his cool. He absolutely deserves recognition for the quality of his work, we were all thoroughly impressed with him.

Love the old building, the atmosphere is wonderful with all the history and signage. Staff very good and most efficient. Well worth a visit.

Very empty and a lack of atmosphere on a Friday evening

Had a lovely first visit for brunch with friends, really nice cocktails and food, was looked after by Rupert and a blonde lady i'd forgotten the name of... Only bit of feedback I had was my garden brunch dish had 1 single veggie sausage which looked a bit lonesome, a pair would've been better!

Amazing food, staff are always extremely friendly even when they're working through the heat. The miso caramel custard tart is so good. Very interesting interior decor and atmosphere, it's usually busy.

I was impressed at quickly being seated as we were a table of 8 with no booking! Food was amazing, the decor is quirky, our host Josh was attentive and engaging, also shout out to Simon with his dapper outfit :) the only downside is it did get a bit warm, I was told that air con should be coming soon so look forward to coming back then!

10/10. Sweetcorn fritters were sensational, I added halloumi. Partner had the Butchers breakfast. Service was brilliant, warm and friendly lady, perfect person to have serve a great breakfast. Decor and building are unique and interesting.
