Really clean venue. Wasn't drinking that day, so it was great they sold decent coffee.

Sound quality was absolutely awful for the badlands gig! Couldn't hear any vocals clearly unless no instruments were being played (ie talking between songs) as soon as the bands started up, it was just garbled. Stood watching the drummer of one of the bands doing their thing very well, but it seemed like only half the drum kit was mic'd up. I could see them hitting stuff but no sound accompanied it. Considering the headline act was a covers band, every single took me a good while to work out what it was as the sound quality was so bad Also, made sure I took cash out in advance, as I know small venues prefer cash to card charges, only to see a sign at the bar saying cash only if correct change. Really don't think I will be rushing back for another music event after discussing it with friends and hearing their experience was the same as mine for other gigs!

Could do with more bar staff at gigs. But space works well.

Bright, airy but above all a good sound in the concert hall.

Lovely venue, easy to get to, and offering a range of entertainment to cover most people's tastes

Great venue, great views of the stage, great sound. My only negative would be that if you are going to a seated performance, be aware that the seating in the lowered section, (AA -HH) consists of linked plastic chairs which, while not uncomfortable, are quite small and don't give a lot of room. I understand this is because the lower section is cleared for standing at some gigs. Upper section seats are bigger.

Good venue. Large bar area. Hall has good acoustics. We'll organised.

Went to a gig here. The door staff, bar staff and security were polite and helpful. As a guy that generally doesn't like crowds, I was made to feel welcome and not hemed in even before I saw the crowd. Nice slow drip into the event eased my discomfort.

Amazing bands However... The sound balance is utterly shocking, I have seen a few acts here and the sound is so tilted towards treble its painful and causes genuine discomfort

Great venue, intimate performances

Great gem right in the centre of Lincoln. Fantastic value for money. I have accessability needs and they have always been very helpful. We will definitely be attending again.

Went to see tribute bands for spandau ballet and Duran Duran great night and only £22 what a bargain ,great venue lovely bar need to spread the word how good it is here

No ice creams available in interval. Missing a trick there.

A great venue for our work party with a lot of history behind it. The communication was excellent when organising our visit. The bar-staff, dj and door staff were friendly, helpful and incredibly attentive. I'd definitely recommend considering this venue for work get togethers and larger parties.

Went to a pantomime whilst on holiday with family near by had a nice time. All staff helpful and polite. All areas were clean including the toilets. Easy to walk to from local car park.

Booked last minute this afternoon for the panto. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfortable seating and great performance.

Colourful and professional panto. Good singing and skillful actors - great tongue twisters. Amusing but not overly funny. Seats rather hard for a long session. Take a cushion. Photography not permitted so no photos.

Appaling acoustics, 2nd thing we've been to here, the first one I though the sound problems due to being an amateur dramatics performance and didn't have the full sound system ect, and the seats gave me the worst bad back. However the second one was a gig by a band we've seen before, incredibly talented and amazing performers, but tonight was horrendous, all the sound blended into one mass noise, couldn't hear the singer, I wear earplugs at gigs that are on the louder side and honestly feel bad for anyone who didn't have any in as its the only thing that made it bareable. Turned a well known popular talented band that performed in many great venues to an up and coming, mediocre band that is still learning the ropes and climbing the venue ranks

Great concert venue , went to see the Skids , cracking night. Disabled visitors , the venue itself is no problem at all , but if you read the website it says about disabled parking , ignore that , as after a certain time it is parking for all and for a evening gig you have no chance . There is a what I think a expensive ( nearly a fiver ) evening car park next door, which is a cow to try and sort payment out in the dark , at least 6 of us that parked spent bloody ages trying to sort payment, nothing to do with the venue itself, but be warned and allow time to sort it . The venue itself was dead easy, 10/10 . Parking 1/10

Nice venue, not too large so you can get closer to the acts. Pleased it's reopened after lockdowns.

Spot on venue.Will definitely be going there again.Bar is a bit pricey but hey ho.

Nice ambience, well organised venue which was busy but not packed in like sardines, friendly and helpful staff and a well stocked bar.

A great venue we visited for a comedy gig on a day away from Sheffield and we'd definitely come again. A lovely outside terrace, great drinks that you won't find in other places and tasty nachos. The hall for the gig was a good size with crystal clear sound and seats were comfortable and you actually had some leg room. We'll keep our eyes open for future gigs here.

Going to be run by lincoln college for students performances, no idea if it is going too have a student discount

I like going to panto here. The only problem this year was having to wear mask as it was very hot in there

Visited here for a pantomime showing of Aladdin. Very good covid measures in place and was a great experience. For a small venue it had very good atmosphere. Only lost a star due to the excessive heat in the venue, no big deal though. Would recommend.

Had a fantastic time at the Drill Hall. Amazing show and very well run. Staff were helpful and friendly. The seating could do with a bit of tlc but that's my only criticism, the fact the Drill Hall is still open and looking fantastic is amazing! 👏👏 Definitely worth a visit! The Aladdin panto was fabulous for all age groups.

Great to see the Drill Hall open again. The changes look great as well. Took the grandchildren to the pantomime yesterday and we all had a great time. The tiering system meant that we all had a great view. Will be booking for Phantom in July. Only minor issue is that the seats are not that comfortable.

Great to be at Lincoln Drill Hall after its really good refurbishment to see this years Christmas Panto, Aladdin. What a brilliant production, very funny and thoroughly entertaining. Well done all 👏 😀

Visited for panto as I have for the last few years. Panto was fantastic as ever.. but the venue is no longer a special place to visit. No stock on the bar (couldn’t even get a cup of tea as no milk or teabags!). Staff all brand new and no management as no one in these roles yet. Emailed the college to complain and got ignored. Clearly happy to have the ticket money and don’t care whether people enjoy their experience.

Always has an interesting variety of shows. Staff are friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced. Seating in the venue is comfortable. I generally see comedy gigs here, as the Drill Hall is much nicer than the Engine Shed, the other main comedy venue in Lincoln.

There is such a variety of all round entertainment offered at The Drill Hall. Lunchtime concerts, drama, comedians, music. The entertainment does not disappoint and the Staff are warm and welcoming.

Great venue, very accessible, for all, audience and performers alike.

Local live bands on in cafe area each Saturday dinner time.

The Drill hall is a fab place for an evening out, loads of different acts for different taste's. Great facilities, run as a charitable trust, friendly staff and the bar price's are pretty good too.... Whilst we were there I found another couple of shows a fancy this month so I must remember to key an eye on the website!!

Last minute decision to see La Voix. A brilliant show, Lots of innuendo no swearing and great singing.

The seats don't have enough leg room for the taller individual making it uncomfortable for a couple of hours performance.

It is a fab community venue that is a charity really and depends on support, fundraising, donations and funding. Invaluable and lovely. Saw Braebach this time...Great folk band.

When I saw the Peter Pan panto and the Cinderella panto I laughed plus I don't like the booing

Saw Cinderella with family, lots of fun & laughs throughout. Only concern was seats didn't feel quite securely mounted. Going back in Feb for La Voix.

There aren't a lot of art centres in Lincoln so the drill hall is very precious for performers and the arts sector, The Drill hall is lovely, the staff are very friendly and its great place to be.
