My partner came along to Glory Days at the Drill. The video attached to this review is the view he got from the disabled area in the venue. I realise when booking an accessibility chair you aren’t guaranteed an unobstructed view and it tells you this on the website, I still feel it’s a disappointing area as people just crowd in front of you. I will say the staff here were very accommodating and friendly to my fiancé hence three stars.

What an amazing time we had last night watching King King! I just want to say a huge thanks to the staff at The Drill for their fabulous support! My son is deafblind and the team went out of their way to make sure he could access the event and that we were supported throughout. We will certainly be back :)

Our first visit to The Drill, all the staff are polite friendly and helpful. The building is a stunning piece of architecture and it's immaculate everywhere! However the only reason and it's the most important one of why we won't return, are the acoustics. With respect we've been to thousands of gigs all over Europe but at The Drill the acoustics are very poor and you know instantly, the actions of the musicians also tell you that too. Thin, empty and trebly, at times serious feedback and echoes. But I'll leave it up to you to decide.

Great venue, my first time at! Badlands wasn't overcrowded, what I personally like. The sound team works hard to make everything work. Non alcoholic drinks at the bar. Not ridiculously overpriced. Didn't try food, fast food wasn't my choice. Will definitely back.

It's a great little venue with an outdoor and indoor drinks/seating space - roomy and much needed on a warm summer night. The one negative was a lack of air-con in the main stage making it stifling and uncomfortable on the night we attended. I didn't get to watch the whole show as I needed air and a cool down every 3 songs.

Good arts & music venue, but on a relatively cool evening, it was far too hot. One person fainted before the music started. Good facilities & bar. Better when event is seated than standing (at only 5' 7" seeing the act is always a challenge!).

My first time at The Drill last night, Londoner now living up here. Been following Alabama 3 for too many decades now. Last night was as good a venue as I’ve been in. Band on form, great sound system and acoustics, intimate like having them in your front room, loos clean as a whistle, bar was great, staff were brilliant, low key security, easy entry. Just perfect. 👌 Sleaford mods next. The Drill is perfect. Well done 👍🏻 Totally recommend this venue. Some great music scheduled.

My friend and I went to see a local Youth Drama company put on Les Miserables. They were amazing. All between 11 and 19 years old and the casting was superb. So much talent and they were just so good. The Drill Hall is a lovely venue and our seats - B13 and B14 were perfect. The rows in front - aa, bb, cc etc were all hard plastic chairs. Whereas rows a, b, c etc were raised comfortable seats and better views, we felt.

What a fantastic venue, we absolutely loved it and were so pleasantly surprised. We love live music and fo to quite a few events and often, venues can be a bit scruffy. Not this one!!! So clean and well maintained, the toilets were modern and spotless, great bar, food selection on offer, very friendly staff, we had an amazing night. Only slight criticism is that they had nothing in terms of snacks or anything to eat there. We had a long car journey and no time to go for a meal so were starving. I had to go out and get something from the shops which meant I missed quite a bit of the show but I needed something. Otherwise it was absolutely brilliant 😁

Sound quality was absolutely awful for the badlands gig! Couldn't hear any vocals clearly unless no instruments were being played (ie talking between songs) as soon as the bands started up, it was just garbled. Stood watching the drummer of one of the bands doing their thing very well, but it seemed like only half the drum kit was mic'd up. I could see them hitting stuff but no sound accompanied it. Considering the headline act was a covers band, every single took me a good while to work out what it was as the sound quality was so bad Also, made sure I took cash out in advance, as I know small venues prefer cash to card charges, only to see a sign at the bar saying cash only if correct change. Really don't think I will be rushing back for another music event after discussing it with friends and hearing their experience was the same as mine for other gigs!

Great venue, great views of the stage, great sound. My only negative would be that if you are going to a seated performance, be aware that the seating in the lowered section, (AA -HH) consists of linked plastic chairs which, while not uncomfortable, are quite small and don't give a lot of room. I understand this is because the lower section is cleared for standing at some gigs. Upper section seats are bigger.

Appaling acoustics, 2nd thing we've been to here, the first one I though the sound problems due to being an amateur dramatics performance and didn't have the full sound system ect, and the seats gave me the worst bad back. However the second one was a gig by a band we've seen before, incredibly talented and amazing performers, but tonight was horrendous, all the sound blended into one mass noise, couldn't hear the singer, I wear earplugs at gigs that are on the louder side and honestly feel bad for anyone who didn't have any in as its the only thing that made it bareable. Turned a well known popular talented band that performed in many great venues to an up and coming, mediocre band that is still learning the ropes and climbing the venue ranks

Great concert venue , went to see the Skids , cracking night. Disabled visitors , the venue itself is no problem at all , but if you read the website it says about disabled parking , ignore that , as after a certain time it is parking for all and for a evening gig you have no chance . There is a what I think a expensive ( nearly a fiver ) evening car park next door, which is a cow to try and sort payment out in the dark , at least 6 of us that parked spent bloody ages trying to sort payment, nothing to do with the venue itself, but be warned and allow time to sort it . The venue itself was dead easy, 10/10 . Parking 1/10

Delicious food in a lovely setting. What really sets it apart though is the excellent service which is amongst the best we have received. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable young lady who served us was a credit to the Café. Breakfasts were freshly prepared and tea was leaf tea with plentiful supply of hot water. Nice Victoria cake to follow - it would have been rude not to - so can highly recommend the cakes too. All of that against the backdrop of a historic setting. Definitely our goto when in Lincoln.
