The Electric Bar and Restaurant in Lincoln

Came for cocktails with my partner on Friday evening, we sat on the balcony and it was beautiful scenery. The bar staff members were all so lovely and made super tasty cocktails. Will most definitely be returning for our future visits to Lincoln ☺️

Fantastic view. Inside or outdoor seating great on a hot day. A little background music would have been nice and perhaps service at the table considering the price.

Beautiful view of the marina from 2 small terraces if you can get a seat. Slow service due to cocktails being made. Only wanted a pint of Guinness. Cost £6.05 for a can to be paired into a pint glass... If you're OK with that then fair play.

El gerente le gritó a la gente en el bar que “siéntese y su pedido será tomado, no puedo tenerlos a todos de pie en el bar” esperó durante veinte minutos a que alguien tomara un pedido de bebidas (después de preguntar de nuevo) la camarera ofreció Merlot a alguien que pedía un vino blanco y limonada. Las bebidas llegaron 40 minutos después sin la limonada después de preguntar de nuevo dónde estaban. No estaba particularmente ocupado (entre las 6 - 7 pm Sábado 29 de junio). No volverá.

Bar person didn't seem to know what they were doing and was very slow. Which was very surprising considering all the good reviews, maybe they were just inexperienced which means they should of had someone with them.

Muy decepcionado. Estábamos sentados en 2 mesitas al lado de la salida. Era tan ruidoso que no podías hablar sin gritar. No se sentía como una golosina especial más como un pensamiento posterior. Mi té de la tarde con pressecco estaba muy por debajo de lo que esperábamos, ya que hemos estado en muchos lugares alrededor de Lincoln que eran muy superiores en calidad y atmósfera. No volveríamos ni recomendaríamos

We had afternoon tea on Saturday 15 th June. 2024. The food was okay but it was far from special. We were on 2 small tables near the exit. It was very noisy with no table cloth or any nice crockery. It felt like we were in a transport cafe and was just shoved in a corner as an afterthought. , I have been to lots of places in Lincoln for an afternoon tea and this was by far the worst. I would not recommend this to anyone and was so disappointed especially as it was at the Hilton. My daughter and I left to go elsewhere for another drink after our glass of Prosecco with the meal. . Will not be returning

Good selection of cocktails, but ask for something not on the published menu and the staff don't know what you want. Poor selection of beers, no Guinness on this occasion, with clearly no attempt to rectify the issue, there's a Tesco next door, they could buy from there ( and suitably mark up the price!) to keep the customers happy, obviously in the Hilton world, customer satisfaction isn't everything! Not overly impressed by this "world leading brand" Another negative point. The music playing over the PA system was much too loud. It's supposed to be a cocktail bar, where people can carry out civilised conversation, not shout and struggle to hear responses!! 😠😠. Bar staff struggling to hear orders from customers and on more than one occasion prepared the wrong drink which was wasted before the correction made.

Lovely staff, great views, amazing cocktails. It's a shame they changed us £4 for the privilege of table service but they wasn't informed to us at any time making our two cocktails £14 each which is a bit much, if we had known we would have gone to the bar seeing as we were going to anyway but a lovely lady came over before we managed and so we ordered with her for the convenience of it.

Tuve un maravilloso té de la tarde con mis amigos para mi cumpleaños, la comida era fresca y deliciosa, el servicio no podría haber sido mejor de Courtney, Molly y Josh, que gran lugar y no puedo esperar a volver para disfrutar más!!

We went Saturday 27th April, for a cocktail master class, 13 of us..It was for a 60th birthday.. Food was good , Ben and Molly was good..But the master class wasn't what they said it would be.. They asked us to pick our cocktail ,for making, but they didn't do that, which was very disappointing for a lot of people, some people don't like a lot of cream in cocktail, so they pick other cocktail.. I did speak to joss about this before the night, and he said they could work around it.But he didn't, I did say something to him on the night about this, and never made anything of it. We were told we be upstairs and when we got there we down stairs.. I feel if cannot do what we asked and what you offered you shouldn't do this.. wouldn't do it again, and a lot of the people who was there wouldn't..very disappointed. And wouldn't recommend

We went for afternoon tea which was very nice, had a lovely view of the Bayford from where we was seated, it was very quite which we didn't mind, the lady that served us was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us(wish I knew her name) she went above and beyond.... Overall a pleasant experience and would highly recommend to others.

Delicious afternoon tea in lovely surroundings overlooking the Brayford marina. Excellent value for money, especially if using Groupon voucher.

My friend and I called in for an afternoon coffee today. £7.90 for two Luke warm coffees with a lot of froth. We moved from one uncomfortable, stained sofa with a good view to a more comfortable, cleaner one. There is zero atmosphere and it was too cold to take our coats off. Very disappointing.

We recently had a bottomless brunch and it was absolutely fabulous, I have nothing negative to say. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the Prosecco was an excellent brand and again plentiful! We also had as much coffee, teas and orange as we wanted. The service was impeccable. If you want a classy bottomless brunch then this is the place to go.

Very helpful when I had to amend our reservation for drinks. Cocktails were delicious and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again next time I’m in Lincoln!

Had a fantastic time with friends celebrating and decided to go into the Electric, the whole team was amazing, especially Tiffany who served us all night and gave us the best experience. Drinks were served extremely quickly and to the highest quality, will definitely be attending again for any and all occasions.

This was given as a gift for me and my partner, but we will definitely be returning! The afternoon tea was delicious, especially the scones! The view was incredible and staff very pleasant! The only suggestion I would make was to add some crisps to the afternoon tea, but that is literally very minor detail!

This hidden gem is situated perfectly for beautiful views of the Marina! Not only is the view and the atmosphere unmatched in the city (and I have visited a fair few locations on my trips to Lincoln) but the service given by staff is exemplary! We were greeted upon exiting the lift by the smiling bar supervisor Tiffany, seated and presented with menus with options that catered to all of our tastes :). As soon as we were ready to order, Joe was polite and professional whilst taking our order and was able to provide some amazing recommendations - the Electricolada and clockwork orange are something else!! Tiffany brought our drinks over and engaged in conversation and gave us some fun facts about Lincoln that we didn’t know and recommended some beautiful eateries overlooking the uphill quarter and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff on duty! It was nice to see smiling faces all around! Will definitely be visiting again and bringing friends!

Came here for my mother’s bridal meet up and was very impressed. Great service from staff , especially the bar manager , who made sure we had everything we wanted. Mediocre bar with matching service. Zero sense of urgency from the staff who seem to think waiting a minimum of 15 minutes to be served and get your drinks poured is a privilege. At one point I felt like walking behind the bar and making the rum old fashioned myself. The painfully slow process by the bar person was almost unbearable. I make these at home and it literally takes me seconds, plus I use a smoker too. The final product was below par and I winced my way through to the last drop. Don't get me wrong, the bar has great decor and is in a lovely spot for views etc, however, the place simply has an overwhelming air of pretentiousness which simply grated on me.

Always like going in here/ up here for a few cocktails when out in Lincoln. A nice, relaxed, semi-sophisticated cocktail lounge on the 5th floor of the Hilton overlooking the Brayford Pool. Small but adequate with nice seating areas, low lights and outside balcony which is usually busy on summer nights. Cocktails range from £6 up to £12. Good selection of spirits, a few lagers and a range of wines. Small bar, so when busy you may need to wait a while. Staff are always friendly and attentive. There are other cocktail lounges in Lincoln, although non of them have a view quite like this one to watch the sun set and the water and clouds light up. Had a fair few good memories of this place.
