Fui con mis amigos para el té festivo de la tarde, pero no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Lo visité hace dos años, y desde entonces, se han renovado y el servicio y el ambiente es terrible e impersonal en comparación con esa visita anterior. Por lo tanto, llegamos para nuestra reserva, pero nos pusieron en una cola de personas esperando para sentarse. Tomó diez minutos superar esto. Mientras tanto, la gente estaba a un lado esperando el bar. Estaba demasiado ocupado. Aumentaron el número de mesas abarrotando al menos el doble de personas en la sala y en un bar. Faltaba decoración festiva, y se sentía demasiado ocupado con la mala acústica. No nos ofrecieron llevarnos nuestros abrigos, y luego nos sentamos con un montón de personal de servicio yendo y viniendo detrás de nosotros. Sentí que el servicio no era personal, y sentí que esta nueva forma no está cumpliendo con los estándares originales. Veo que muchos otros comensales parecían felices, pero esto no era aceptable. Reservamos para una tarde de cata de vinos. Llegamos tarde en una tarde lluviosa. Eso no humedeció nuestros espíritus. Nos recibió calurosamente un joven parisino que conocía sus vinos. Probamos los ocho vinos de degustación, nos divertimos mucho. Nuestro joven parisino fue muy amable con nosotros, marcando nuestras tarjetas si lo adivinábamos correctamente o no. Descubrimos que nuestro encantador parisino se llamaba Kevin. Que gran anfitrión. Hizo nuestra tarde / noche, a pesar de subir y bajar las escaleras cuidando a todos sus clientes. Pedimos queso y galletas para ayudar a que el vino baje. Kevin nos trajo un hermoso pan de papa con mantequilla que era tan ligero. Este lugar es divino. Pasamos una tarde brillante y no queríamos irnos a cenar a otro lugar. Estamos ansiosos por volver ya que la comida era realmente deliciosa. ¡El vino tampoco estuvo mal! Gran pan, mantequilla, queso y galletas saladas. La decoración es encantadora, limpia y fresca. Los baños son agradables y están impecables. El personal es excelente El restaurante se ve increíble. Volveremos pronto para probar las delicias. Este lugar es bueno, relajado y no demasiado caro teniendo en cuenta la calidad de todo.

Absolutamente encantador! Tengo el mejor latte de vainilla que he tomado en meses aquí, y el sandwich con pesto y mozzarella fue increíble! El servicio fue excelente; las dos damas que sirvieron a mis amigos y a mí eran tan agradables. Sin duda recomendaría!

We did the afternoon tea with Cinderella. The service, food, atmosphere and certainly Cinderella, could not be faulted. The children's afternoon tea is the best we've ever been too. They really understood what the children would and could manage. The adult afternoon tea was huge! Thankfully they gave us goodie bags to take home. We don't live local, but the trip is certainly worth it! Look forward to visiting again.

Having recently been acquired by North, who usually start from scratch, I assume Alley Cats is currently still in transition. They have North Bar beers, but a thin selection of spirits, and the decor is as before. When we visited last night, the barman was so drunk, he was staggering about all over the place, glass in hand, unable to properly pour a pint, and talking the sort of ridiculous drivel that only makes sense to the severely inebriated. It's a very small bar, and he turned into something of a 'turn', though not very enjoyable to watch, as he tripped about the place, even losing his phone at one point. It's card only, so I need to check how much the idiot charged me! One pint was definitely enough, but hopefully North can do something with the place.

I have been coming here for 5 years and can honestly say it is the best place to grab a coffee and something light to eat in Worcester. It is incredibly family-friendly and the menu has something for everyone from children's beans on toast to substantial toasties perfect for Lunch. There is also an impressive choice of drinks on offer. The homemade cakes and bakes always look delicious, it would be rude not to have one (even at 9 am after breakfast). The service is always fantastic and friendly and it feels like you're going to a friend's house to enjoy some good food and relax. The play area is great for smaller children with a nice selection of books and games to keep them busy. It's very reasonably priced and I believe one of the best value independent places in Worcester.

Cafetería muy pequeña pero muy acogedora justo de portabello rd. Personal muy agradable y una gran opción para el desayuno / brunch. Tuve la papilla y los huevos revueltos y fue encantador. Realmente lo recomendaría!

Have been using this cafe for years but it has suddenly changed in the last few months. All the staff we knew have gone. When you arrive you wait ages for your order to be taken and often have to go to the counter to tell them you have been waiting a long time. People come in after you and are served before you. The scones are poor. The breakfasts and scrambled eggs were fantastic but they are now terrible. The scramble egg comes in a cold dish and the toast on a cold plate. You have to butter your own toast. By the time you eat it everthing is cold. The scrambled egg was alweays lovely and creamy now it is rubbery and overcooked in the microwave. Will not be returning. The regulars cannot understand what has happened. Where is Sarah? Has it changed ownership? Very poor do not bother going.

Myself and 2 of my friends decided to take a trip to the black gate in Oswestry after reading the great reviews for niche patisserie who are based there. What a fabulous old building with so much character. It was busy as expected that time of day but we were welcomed by a lovely lady called sam who showed us to our table.We put our order in and we're served a gorgeous capuchino coffee,a really scrumptious hot chocolate and orange and for me I chose a cherry and rhubarb tea.Then we threw diets etc completely out the window and treated ourselves to an apricot Danish a niche strawberry jam and white chocolate croissant and a new one on the scene the lady sam said to try ,a rhubarb and custard cruffin. Well we just had to try each other's (like you do!) absolute heaven!! This is somewhere we are definitely coming back to.Weve got to try all those gorgeous pastries and croissants and we haven't even started on the lunch menu!!And wait for it they do afternoon teas.Proper ones with all the trimmings wow .We also found out the Baker who makes all these goodies does classes on bread making and pastry . Oooh should we? All in all we had a fabulous time served by attentive smiling staff who couldn't do enough for us.We even went mad and bought a selection of dressings 2 strawberry jams, cookies and niches special fudge yummy 😋 on our way out.

Not welcoming when you came into the cafe, very cluttered & felt like walking into someone’s house. Lady was busy on the phone to serve me for a while. Wasn’t knowledgeable on gluten free ice cream options and wasn’t completely sure they all were GF. £4 for one small scoop of ice cream is extortionate and there were all ice crystals in the ice cream like the ice cream had been sat in the freezer for months so it got thrown in the bin after a few bites. I will not be returning or recommending.

En una tarde de enero amargamente fría mi hermano gemelo y yo decidimos pasar por Metrocola Bar, hemos estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un bar atractivo en varias plantas, decoración y mobiliario de estilo industrial, bar de servicio de aspecto fresco y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este bar, es un gran bar para relajarse. Pedimos un ipa cada uno, estas cervezas se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones siendo heladas frías y espumosas y simplemente nos relajamos, relajamos, calentamos y empapamos el gran ambiente en este bar ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestros ipa's. Mi ipa era realmente bueno, una ipa dorada, de lúpulo, toques de caramelo, un delicioso aroma y regusto con un acabado suave, una ipa clásica , no es de extrañar que este bar sea tan popular entre las cervezas servidas en estas buenas condiciones por el personal que genuinamente se alegra de verte en su bar. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Metrocola Bar nos lo pasamos muy bien. Metrocola Bar es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Leece Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a domingo, abierto desde mediodía hasta muy tarde. Un gran bar, uno que recomiendo visitar si estás en la zona.
