The TimeOut offer was incredible! £30s worth of wine for £15 and a free £20 voucher for the grill downstairs. There was a great selection of white/reds on offer in three different sizes. I would recommend having the taster portions to find a glass you would like more of. Furthermore, allow at least an hour to get through your wines. The grill downstairs was pretty formal but we had a friendly server who was more than happy to explain the different cuts of steak to us. Only slight negative was the crab mac and cheese which had an unusual taste.

The wines they offer are insanely good!!! Definitely a place to see and go to! As a bonus the restaurant is downstairs so if you are peckish after your wine you can get some yummy bites.

Been here a couple times now on the Timeout voucher and gotta say it's definitely worth the trip. As others have said it can be a bit impersonal but I kinda like it that way - left to do our own thing specially once you know how to use the pouring machines (not rocket science much like vagabond etc). The offer is great value for money and the manager on duty last night was very talkative and knowledgeable about the wines of which we sampled most. After we went down for a steak at the restaurant and it was cooked beautifully. A hidden gem that offers a more private session than some of the busier fussier wine bars.

This was super disappointing, especially as it could be good with minimal effort. The problem (as several other people have pointed out) is the service. It simply doesn't exist. They send you to a room upstairs with a pre-loaded card and that is it. No clue how to pay (we had to ask someone someone else up there). No interest in clearing glasses, at no point were any glasses cleared. The wine was quite nice, but again the labels on the machine didn't match the bottles - and it was expensive. So simply put, don't go. There are much better places that do similar things (with both service and atmosphere)

Initially went for wine tasting as thought it would be fun. Would give that a miss, try other venues for more selection. However went for meal after which totally saved the night. Fantastic steaks. Cooked to perfection. Great service from Mesmer our waiter. Restaurant lady also lovely but did not get her name. This place gives Groucho a run for its money when it comes to steak. Will definitely go back. Top marks to he chef

Purchased a timeout voucher for a wine tasting, first for us in the UK. The preloaded cards were given to us once we entered and we were told to help ourselves using the machines. Wines were nice but it was a DIY experience without guidance or help available if needed.

We had the time out wine tasting vouchers and thought it would be fun to try. They had 40 wines in a machine that dispensed the quantity you choose ( tasting mouthful, from £2, small or large glass, more expensive). Bar snacks were available. We were told to go up to the mezzanine, put our card in the machine and choose wines to try. +: Fun selection, some wines we'd never tried before. All the wines we tried bar one were good quality. They were advertising an anti-slavery pop up restaurant event, good cause. The single waiter worked quite hard and was friendly, tried to respond to requests e.g. for snacks, clean glasses, water. -: at 6.30pm the mezzanine area had a dozen dirty glasses lying about. The only information about the wine was the country and grape, no tasting notes. Seating was very squashed. Had to ask people to move to access the wines, so not free to browse the selection. Felt like you were at the slot machines. The mezzanine was unmanned, no atmosphere, no customer service. Customers were making the most of it but over half were as uncomfortable as we were. Prices were expensive. Bar snacks were tasty and expensive. Staff were struggling. When we left there were still lots of dirty glasses lying about, and no clean ones for customers. It felt a bit like your were in a warehouse but with nice decor. On paying, the staff at the till complained that there were too many customers. My opinion is that there are not enough staff. I will certainly help their problem of too many customers by not coming back. There are many nicer and more fun ways to do wine tasting in London. It did not honour the wine or the customer sadly. I would suggest that M Wine Store give staff customer service training, and get adequate staff in to give that customer service, have tasting notes for the wines, suggestions for which snacks to go with which wines, a resident member of staff for the mezzanine area to help improve the experience.

Needed to order 83+ bottles of wine for Christmas. Exceptional range of wines available, ordering process was so seamless that I placed my order at noon and ALL bottles were delivered same day. Simply amazing customer experience compared to top mayfair stores that I have used previously. Strongly recommend ordering with M Wine store!!!

My husband treated me for my 40th b'day. We had an absolute amazing wine tasting experience. Loved the wines and the food, we had argentinian meat, cooked to perfection, so tender, beautiful taste, the best chips I have ever had, seriously, and the staff was very friendly, particularly Ernesto, who treated us extremely well. We had so much fun!! Large selection of wines, we fell in love with one and bought two bottles. Beautiful shop and cosy restaurant too. Planning to go back with friends who enjoy fine eating and drinking as much as we do. Highly recommended. Maria

I dined there last Friday. The food and service were both excellent. The staff were really accommodating and the food was really well prepared and presented. A really good introduction for me into the world of fine dining!

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.
