The best restaurants serving Mexican food in Newcastle upon Tyne North East

Banging. Visited during restaurant week when deals were on, however price of tacos is very affordable and worth it for the portion size. OBVIOUSLY a wide range of options for veggies! Between the two of us we ordered 6 tacos, our favourite being the Pastor and Banana. Corn ribs and nachos obviously a must. Will return!

Comida texmex absolutamente fabulosa. Teníamos los burritos completamente cargados y los churros de queso y chorizo con salsa para comenzar, buenas raciones y buen sabor. Está situado en el restaurante Sohe y parece ser un ajetreo secundario para ellos, solo lo encontraron por casualidad en las redes sociales, ya que no está muy bien anunciado. 10/10 lo recomendaría, aunque si no te gusta el cilantro, ¡quizás lo mencionaría cuando pidas!

Outstanding food, everything was cooked to perfection and all of the ingredients tasted so fresh. Presentation was beautiful. Staff were very attentive and friendly. You couldn’t fault the price either, extremely reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

Really tasty food and helpful staff. Not many seats so be sure to book a table in advance. A little expensive but overall really good!

Food was fabulous. Good service. Brilliant, friendly waitresses. Will definitely go again. Sat in the garden which was nicely set out.

The food was delicious I love it worth to try it

Disappointed as this was a firm fave of ours but burritos were freezing cold (understand as burritos aren't supposed to be piping hot, but shouldn't be that cold either) and staff were not helpful and seemed quite miserable. Price seemed to have shot up (as all business have) but it seems the quality, and portion sizes has gone down. Me and my friend got the exact same burrito with the same add ons, however mine was more expensive than hers. Both staff members charging different prices. My other friend had to keep asking what was included in the price and what wasn't, as she was unhelpful and gave no indication. Really disappointed and wont be back.

Food is generally good, although they do sometimes mix orders resulting in literally a 'mixed bag' of food. Where this place let's it down is service, there seems to be nobody who is in charge and the staff seem poorly trained. They don't even know their own menu and ordering is often a chore - the iPad till set up should be fairly straightforward to use but even this confuses their front of house staff. Top marks for the Katsu Curry, and the wraps are good.

order took over an hour to arrive and they forgot the jalapenos and hot salsa :( the rest was nice though but a bit cold

First time ordering, we got the large meal deal for two, said it would take 1 hour max, 2 and a bit hours later it turned up, £33.00 for 2 burritos and 1 bag of small fries. Ended up putting the burritos in the bin as we did not enjoy them at all, meat was too chewy and the beef tasted like aniseed. Would not be rushing back anytime soon.

Waited over 40 minutes for my meal. Orders over 1500 were going and my order was 1450. When I asked for a partial refund, they agreed because I had waited 40 mins for a quesadilla and then they changed their minds and said if I took the food they would not refund me…. I asked for a PARTIAL refund initially and they couldn’t even give me that- despite fulfilling over 55 orders since mine. Absolutely disgusting service, I feel sorry for the poor workers that have to deal with the flack when the Taco Bell system is the thing that is flawed. I feel that I should have been guaranteed a refund, considering the circumstance of waiting over 40 mins for FAST FOOD.
