They’ve changed the chilli no carne recipe and it’s absolutely disgusting now. It tastes so artificial and cheap. Apparently they’ve done this with the chicken too. Such a shame as this used to be my favourite place! Also, the new contactless system takes away any of the human connection that made this place nice to visit and order from

Great burritos and sides, served by Kati, who was very helpful and kind with understanding the range of options available, and exploring vegan options. Also great selection of beers. Thanks Kati and team we will definitely be back

The food here is phenomenal. The fiery explosion of sauce made my day as I sunk my teeth into what could only be described as ‘nirvana’. Would recommend to absolutely everyone.

It was my first time to order Mexican food. Because I saw the design style and music experience here, I unconsciously followed the queue and ordered the naked taco M size. I purchased it for an additional 2.95 pounds (drink/nachos). The process was very refreshing. I asked them one by one what ingredients to add and the content of the sauce, whether it was spicy, etc... It was a very interesting process, it was really a food culture experience, I was happy! Delicious! recommend! ! !

The staff here were genetically closer to sloths than people. If they went any slower they would have been going backwards. Each scoop of the ladel took approximately 3-5 business days. After taking the best part of 20 minutes to get it from one end of the assembly line to the other, the server had the gall to open mouth cough on the burrito. YUCK.

We didn’t revive the food, I accidentally sent my food to my home address and we are at a friends house, but I didn’t realise until the order was stated ‘delivered’ online, my dad didn’t hear any knock at the door, and still hasn’t received the food, even though it says it has been delivered, he has looked around the house and in the bins and can’t see it anywhere. Eldon Square: Haven’t been before so needed some guidance as to how/what to order. Had come straight from an exam so was a bit flustered. Beth was brilliant, had a chat to me and basically talked me through each ingredient. She also informed me about student discount that I didn't know was available, which saved me a good chunk of money. Will be going after every exam now :)

Very rude! If you close at 8pm, you close at 8! Not at 7pm. They started their deep cleaning at 7pm and there was a queue of people waiting for to order with only 1 person taking orders whilst 3 of them were cleaning. Below par and not good enough. Avoid.

Had the tres tacos and my friend had the baked burrito. Excellent food, loads of choices in meat, and the atmosphere is decent. Easily accessible and fast service are an added bonus. I will definitely be returning for more tasty Mexican munchables.

Food was good and more than that the service was really friendly. Had the naked burrito bowl with hot salsa. Be warned it’s hot! If you want a cheap eat in Newcastle city centre, you can’t go wrong.

Burritos are big enough to be an entire meal by themselves. Tacos are small in my opinion, definitely not as valuable as they are priced, there's a place in Sunderland that makes it better (in some aspects, not all). The 5-8PM deal is great value and their loyalty scheme is rather insane value if you get it. Churros are good enough to have a cheat day for, shame about those allergic to nuts though.

Great experience from start to finish We were given tasters to help us choose our perfect burrito. All the staff were polite and helpful but Jack was particularly helpful and friendly despite being a mackem. He is a credit to the business and will definitely encourage you to return. Food was delicious and you get a lot.

Come here regularly for a quick bite to eat. Food is always lush and fills a hole. Today I was served by Zara. Pleasant and efficient. Will be back for many more!

Just had the worst meal out I think I have ever had. Three of us had different burritos, beef, chicken and vegi. Mine was the beef for an extra pound or so. I am really not sure which bit of the cow this was from but it was a mix of fat, mush and overcooked 'meat'. The others were of similar low quality, overcooked bland 'stuff'. How can veggies be done so wrong? We are all genuinely saying we are expecting to resee this meal sometime later today.

Had a lovely experience in tortilla today to make use of the offer, food was lovely and the server on the till, Zara, was very friendly and convinced us to get some churros which did not disappoint. Will be back 🙌

Good tasting fast food. Can't complain about the taste of Tortillas burritos which cost about £7.20 for a medium. There are plenty of fillings to choose from. The one real issue I have with this place is not being able to hear the people that serve you. The music is always so loud you cannot hear what they are saying, especially when you have 3ft of counter space and glass between you.

This is an absolute disgrace. I initially got told the food would arrive between 12.30 pm and 12.50 pm but I ended up receiving it at 1.30 pm. I had a scheduled lunch break where it would have been perfect but now I cannot even have the food until I have finished working. Also, the food wasn't hot...warm would be generous. really not happy with this.

No value for money, and served sloppy, 1 hard slither of chichen in the combo meal, (ALL ADDED EXTRAS) don't mind paying extra for quality and value. Delivery person said he waited for 30 mins for order and was told some missing???? oh the chicken 🤔 and the side order of corn was shocking 😐 🙄 😑 Looked forward to receiving good honest food but not the case. Very disappointing and sad.

Not allergy educated. I asked if either rice option had citrus in them as I’m highly allergic and the guy serving me didn’t understand. I had to ask several times, and didn’t get a straight answer. Instead he just described the taste of the rices, despite me asking the question in multiple different ways. Another employee was able to tell me in the end. While I appreciate that English may not have been his first language, if he heard the word allergy repeatedly and wasn’t understanding the question, it was his responsibility to ask a different member of staff to step in to ensure the safety of customers with food allergies.

No issues at all with delivery or the driver. The food was absolutely rotten. Had a few bites of the burrito and a couple of tortillas and it went in the bin. The cheese dip was horrible too!!! It all had a weird taste and the burrito was just mush. I get food from the Braehead tortilla in Glasgow a lot and it tastes nothing like this rubbish!!

Chicken wasn't grilled like it usually is. Watery and sloppy. They said they don't do it like that anymore. Why? Very salty and wet. Usually good but this time it's a no go for me . Probs won't be back

A very good trip to Tortilla all round! Adam was very attentive, polite and welcoming and helped us enjoy the occasion. The food was superb and there were plenty of options of what you could have. Will definitely come again!

I ordered a Buriton and got a box of filling.

Multiple items missing ( 5 in total ) , incorrectly filled burritos with wrong meat - really poor as partner has allergies if ate would of been serious. Items delivered stone cold., totally ruined. Tortilla used to be my favourite place but quality and standards have slipped massive. avoid

Hi I normally donot leave bad reviews but there a couple of thing wrong with my order first thing it was estimated to deliver at 13:05 but it was delivered at around 13:38 and I thought it was fine but once I got the food I have not got the bag of chips along with the meal and there was no sweet corn or pickled red onions
