The best restaurants serving Mexican food in England

November 25th Warm welcome around 4pm.. A varied, but not over complicated menu. Service was timely & friendly & the 2 wagu burgers hit the spot, as did the ' medicinal ' Old Fashioned '..😊👍. A few words on the bright & airy ambience, with good views across the sea towards Swanage...all in all definitely worth another visit.. thankyou..& good luck to the server on her 1st shift..😊

I had the pleasure of going to Plan Burrito on the way home from an event. Shereen and Eve were very welcoming and incredibly patient when I explained I had not eaten there before and was unsure what to order. They explained all the options and made an amazing burrito for me. The portion sizes were very generous and the taste was amazing. The soft play area looked great and would definitely keep little ones entertained if they can win with their parents. Thank you so much Shereen and Eve, my burrito tasted amazing!!

We ate here this week, it was a great little find. Great menu, great cocktails, accommodating and polite staff. Food was great however homemade guacamole and salsa would have made the food better. Hope to visit again soon

First time visiting Fuegos after friend’s recommendation, glad to have listened to them. Service from the minute we walked through the door was great, food amazing and great value for money. Staff polite and professional will definitely return in the near future to sample their other dishes

Came here for our fourth visit last night before Joe Jackson at the Guildhall. As per normal the waiter for super friendly, the food was amazing and the restaurant spotless. We shall return next time we are in Portsmouth.

Fantastic little take away! We stopped here as my husband was desperate for lobster. The food was delicious, we had 1/2 lobster, Parmesan fries, loaded fries, calamari and mac & cheese croquettes and couldn’t fault a single thing! We sat on the harbour front in our camper (as it was raining!) and thoroughly enjoyed!

Amazing food, great service. Highly recommend. Sweetcorn is so tasty and so is the pork belly bites. Great tasy cocktails

We thought we’d order from somewhere new, we used uber eats and it was past the delivery time. So I called the restaurant, the member of staff I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful and straight away checked with the kitchen if my order had left. They confirmed it had and would be with me soon. Within 5 minuets of the call my order was indeed delivered. All in all my order was due between 8:25-8:45 and it came round 9pm. But all was forgiven when the food came because oh my goodness, it was unreal we had the Caesar salad, fajita, burrito, chips & nachos. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. I’m so glad we tried it as I will be ordering again!

The takeaway/restaurant have not updated their name or menu. There were ants all over the table and the food did not taste up to standard. The service is disgusting, they did not apologise at all we had to walk out

Maddie was amazing! Food was outstanding! She had scallops as an appetizer and. Had French onion soup. She had excellent lamb shank and I had beef bourgeoisie. Both were great. Desert was excellent. Our next stop is Dublin, and Maddie gave us some great stops to investigate. Great experience!

I’m very disappointed by the customer service I got, ive been looking so forward to coming to hola guacamole as it represents my home country and wanted to make a family day out of it, I was spoken to with a lot of disrespect by a lady with tattoos on her arm, she continuously stopped preparing my food to speak to friends and also using very foul language in front of my kids and vaping inside the kitchen which I don’t think is very professional or hygienic she is very careless about her job and isnt putting a good look on the company , I really hope nobody has to face the same treatment that I got.

Hice una reserva de almuerzo para mí y tres amigos jueves 31 calle octubre 2024 en Leytonstone. Esta fue nuestra primera visita. La comida era sabrosa y el servicio estaba bien, aunque los bancos de los asientos eran un poco duros (cojines? ) y la habitación estaba un poco fría (bajar el aire acondicionado un poco? ) ... hasta ahora, así que está bien ... Al recibir la factura, mis amigos pagaron sin efectivo y les pregunté si podía pagar con efectivo. Me dijeron sin rodeos 'Es 20 - 24'. Todos pensábamos que era una referencia a Bill, pero la cifra era incorrecta, así que un poco desconcertado dije: '¿Oh ok? ' Entonces me dijeron que 'Estamos en 2024 y ya nadie usa efectivo'. Respondí que me parece que el efectivo todavía se utiliza, pero que me aseguraría de mencionar este intercambio en mi revisión. Estoy dispuesto a hacer pagos sin efectivo y regularmente lo hago. Sin embargo, nos sorprendió la grosería y la franqueza descortés de este miembro del personal, que en efecto arruinó toda nuestra experiencia de almuerzo. También consideramos que la naturaleza del comentario puede haber sido afectada por nuestro rango de edad percibido. Tristemente no volveremos a Homies en Burros.

FIRST TIME TO WAKEFIELD Amazing, we were taken downstairs to the exclusive Ico bar in restaurant. Jake the barman was fantastic, informative, conscientious and friendly not sure what else he vould do to be perfect. Thanks Jake for you time and effort. Thanks to Tom for the blend of rhubarb cocktail invention (as per Jake's mention) well done all!

We have visited a couple of times and the food is delicious! Incredibly good value, cooked fresh and a good choice. Much better to have lunch here for under a fiver than in McDonald’s or Subway!

Looking forward to a lovely roast dinner, not had one for a while, plates arrived, looked amazing, my beef was melt in the mouth, yorkie and stuffing, good, veg, ok, roast potatoes so disappointing, hard on the outside, clogged inside, such a shame, hubby had pork and crackling was soft. No apologies, but will feed back to the kitchen. First time for a roast from us, 🙂‍↔️
