The best restaurants serving Mexican food in England

Fantastic breakfast menu... there was lots I could've chosen. I opted for the sausage bap: really good quality sausages with roasted onions and emmental on brioche bun. I'm fussy about sausages, they need to be of good quality but breakfast sausages shouldn't be too meaty and highly flavoured - these were spot on! All the flavours blended perfectly. Delicious. My friend had a generous serving of sourdough toast with avocado, poached egg and crispy bacon. The setting is rustic, which may not be to everyone's taste. Personally, I'm more concerned about good food and service. Will definitely return.

Came for a meal with family, Staff are very accommodating to dietry requirements and fussy kids! Friendly, laid back atmosphere, food tasted incredible. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Deliciosa, muy fresca comida de degustación; muy sabrosa Fuimos para un almuerzo vegetariano (chorizo vegetariano fue genial). Tengo ganas de volver una noche para probar las opciones de pollo con cerdo o lima. ¡Y un cóctel o dos! Dulce y pequeño restaurante que no estaría fuera de lugar en Soho. Cold burger, dried bread, buffalo chicken poppers were a cut up chicken burger with some sauce squirted over. Also some wilted lettuce in the bottom. Of the container it came in. 😞 disappointed.

Had such a fabulous time at Taqueria……We tried a bit of everything on the menu and loved it all. There wasn’t one thing that we didn’t enjoy and it was nice that it was all authentic and felt like a true Mexican experience. We particularly loved the chickpea and chorizo tostada and the sweetcorn dish, but all were delicious! It’s very hot upstairs, so that made us eat less I think, so more fans would be good . That said, I think it was the hottest day of the year!! The staff are really lovely and friendly, and happy to talk through the menu. The drinks are awesome…. We had frozen margaritas, they were delicious and tequila shots hit the spot ….. the best way to end a Mexican meal!! Highly recommend this restaurant, it’s a great find and stands out amongst others in Glossop. Really looking forward to going back. It’s hands down the best place I’ve eaten for a long while and 100% the best Mexican food I’ve had.

Mexicali had a large varied menu, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is very tasty and piping hot when served which is great. Drinks and food are both very fairly priced, and this restaurant is well worth a visit. Recommended.

I went to try these tacos afyer seeing a glowing review on Tik Tok. To be honest I thought it was ok at best. I ordered the Cajun chicken tacos with Garilc and Parmesan fries. On sight when I opened the box I was underwelmed. There was very little chicken in the taco and costing £5.75 for one taco I would expect it to be full. The chicken is shredded into tiny pieces and I could just about see the guacamole at the bottom. The Garlic Parmesan fries were very small and limp in places and although I could taste Parmesan I also expected to see some Parmesan on the fries. All in all it all tasted ok but definitely not worth the price.

Before this restaurant moved to Liscard Road, Wallasey, a group of us visited for our Xmas meal. Atmosphere, food and service all great! Their premises have been taken over by a Nepalese restaurant now, and they have moved to Liscard Road, Wallasey.

We went here because of the serious lack of other vegan eateries in Perranporth, and so glad we did. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to check ingredients for one of our party who has food allergies. The hummus and flatbreads were amazing as was the salad bowl. Excellent choice of cakes also and the smoothies were fantastic. Would highly recommend

Appalling. Took order for delivery still not arrived after 2 hrs. Don't answer their phone. When driver finally arrive 1 hrs after getting a text to say he is on his way it takes him 1 hrs to drive 3 miles. All we got was " we are chocka busy" here's a free can of pop. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

This is a strange place. Weird decor, weird menu, just weird full stop. Food is OK but nothing special. It's a bit a bit of a novelty, but it wears off quick.

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD. Completely authentic delicious Mexican food. It is clear that the team have so much love & passion for the food they provide. 10/10. ps he’s mental🤣
