Las Iguanas Chelmsford in Chelmsford

One of my favourite places to go for a quick lunch. A wide menu choice. Friendly team. Loyalty rewards.

We visited this restaurant for the first time with a reservation for five people. Although the experience had its ups and downs, the staff's exceptional service made all the difference. Upon arrival, we kindly asked for some extra time to decide as we were unfamiliar with the menu. The starters took a while to arrive, which was surprising since the place wasn’t very busy. When they finally brought the appetizers, we noticed the nachos were lukewarm rather than hot, which was a bit disappointing. The main dishes also took quite some time to be served. One of our party members, who cannot eat spicy food, ordered an enchilada but unfortunately couldn’t eat it as it was too spicy for them, even if it might be mild for others. However, this is where the experience turned around

Did the Xmas bottomless brunch on Saturday afternoon, it was the best brunch I've had in ages the food was yummy as always but the service was top notch, continuous drinks flowing and such a lovely young lady serving us, customer service has plummeted in the UK but las igs staff Chelmsford haven't followed the masses and continue to go above an beyond.

Alex was amazing and looked after us for our bottomless brunch!

Alex (and all of his colleagues) are so lovely and so attentive, bottomless brunch is excellent and so much drink choice, definitely recommend and will be back!

Words can’t comprehend how truly exuberant Scott was. If you don’t like a runny yolk with your egg, Scott is the man. If you want alcoholic beverages down your gullet, Scott is the man. I will be coming back here soon x

If you go for bottomless brunch … sit in Paul’s section! He’s brilliant and you will not wait for top ups ! Excellent service food was very good .. highly recommend

Everything was amazing, apart from the the restaurant was a little cold, however that will not stop me going back in the future just wear something warmer lol.

Il ristorante è sito all'interno di un edificio piu grande dove sono presenti anche altri ristoranti nel centro di Chelmsford. Il locale è carino e molto colorato. Buona scelta di cibo e di cocktail anche se personalmente mi aspettavo qualcosa di piu. Prezzo nella media.

Our first visit to a Las Iguanas and we weren’t disappointed. Our server really knew the menu made good suggestions and service was excellent. We loved watching the robot trundle around as well. It had a great atmosphere. We would definitely go again and 2 for q cocktails was a bonus.

Amelia was perfect in serving us for brunch, 10/10 service we felt like VIPs and Sean was also 100% in our service!! I would wholeheartedly recommend Las Iguanas Chelmsford!!

We went for our anniversary meal here today and could not fault the service or food. Sean was our server and was amazing!! He was very polite, and nothing was too much trouble. Checked up on us throughout our dining experience and even gave us complimentary shots as we were celebrating our anniversary. Food was lovely and very affordable for how big the portions were!! Definitely will come back :)

Lovely attentive staff here, always well looked after. Toilets need a good dusting but otherwise ok. Food is delicious if a little overpriced on the starters. Mains are delicious but need more curries they used to have a Goan curry that was amazing but my husband does like the Habenero Chicken wings Starter. Less ice needed in the drinks please 🙏🏻 🙂

Allesandra was one of, if not THE best waitress we have ever had. She has been incredibly attentive, and kind.

Been here twice and it’s been superb both times. Food is amazing. The atmosphere is brilliant as the music they play fits the restaurant perfectly and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommended.

Manager was brilliant, really helpful and supportive. We had five lively kids bouncing around and she catered so well for us. Food was tasty and there's a great choice.

Had a lunch there with family today, great food. Boy who served us was very friendly and brought my son’s hat to us when we already outside of the building. Great food and service, highly recommend!

Six of us came for a bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were well looked after by Nikola & Orla, making sure we had drinks in front of us before we had finished our previous ones and the food was really tasty too! Thank you and we will be back!

Was excited to come here as last time I went it was really good, however the menu change seems to have made the food really disappointing. Me and both of my friends were really underwhelmed with the food and how bland it was, probably could make more flavourful tacos at home. Cocktails were good.

Tasty food. We all had the various curries. The hot one was not hot though. The churros sundae was lovely too

So this place is amazing,. We got let down by shwings last minute,. Had a booking for 22 people and after talking to iguanas they did not hesitate to help us out. Staff great food amazing cocktails are epic.. Will always return and will always recommend 👌 😉

We had a fabulous evening last night our food was lovely it was well presented and plenty of it. We enjoyed a few of the many beautiful cocktails. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to come back again.

Simply fresh and delicious, Taco sharer, chicken burrito, churros grandé So ,so good. 2 for 1 cocktails good value, blue lagoon and pink pina coladas well presented, in the correct hurricane glasses, but the star of the show quite surprisingly was the 3 tier cortado condensada... brought back some memories that did. Gracias!

Management member Sean could not fault. Excellent people skills and very hospitable . Unsupportive deputy manager who did not visually support his team member and gave very bad body language. No manners used towards his fellow colleague. Fortunately experience was still good thanks to Sean so do not let this affect your decision on attending. 10/05/2024
