The Chandelier Mexican and Latin grill in Doncaster

We thought we’d order from somewhere new, we used uber eats and it was past the delivery time. So I called the restaurant, the member of staff I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful and straight away checked with the kitchen if my order had left. They confirmed it had and would be with me soon. Within 5 minuets of the call my order was indeed delivered. All in all my order was due between 8:25-8:45 and it came round 9pm. But all was forgiven when the food came because oh my goodness, it was unreal we had the Caesar salad, fajita, burrito, chips & nachos. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. I’m so glad we tried it as I will be ordering again!

We were't sure if it was a restaurant, take-away or men's club... Felt like they'd forgotten it was a restaurant and had to accommodate us as an afterthought. It wasn't so much the service (the young lad tried hard enough) just the general set up of the place. Not presented well, lots of lads hanging about, full of smoke from the open kitchen, no ambience, football on in the kitchen, limited drink choice and as for the food... it was ok but the whole experience did leave you wondering if you might be running to the toilet in a few hours (we didn't btw).

Ate here on a one off, passing by on a night out. We had really good service from the young lad that was serving. Ordered a nacho sharer starter, followed my fajita and a chimichanga. All really nice and tasty food. We would definately visit again.

Do not order a takeaway from here, it took over two hours and when we complained were told we don’t need people like you and if you give a bad review we don’t care because we have good reviews on just eat, appalled at this

Ordered here for collection, when I returned home I found this is what I’d paid £35 for. The chips weren’t even cooked but were some how soggy. I ordered a steak well done and had this so unhappy as I returned home and I had seen this I tried to call straight away to return the food and get a refund it’s been 2 days and the phones still on user busy.. coincidence? I don’t think so. Don’t waste you’re money.

We ordered starters and mains. All were good sized portions and absolutely delicious! Staff are so friendly and accommodating and service was wonderful. The restaurant is very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to all and we'll be back.

Deliciuis food, large portions and very helpfull staff. Went out for a birthday meal, and evrybody in the group agreed that the restaurant was a great choice.

I often order takeaway food from here but ventured in to the restaurant for a meal for the first time on Saturday night and was not disappointed. The setting was lovely and the food was gorgeous as always. The portions are large and extremely tasty and the service was excellent! I will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing food was so delicious, the food came nice and hot staff were so polite and well organised. Food came on time very happy with our meal we also got a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day before we left such a sweet gesture will definitely be back again!

Me and the wife went for the 1st time on a Wednesday night. Very nice place clean and welcoming... and lovely food we will definitely be going back although this time in a taxi to make the most of the bar. Massive portions and unbelievably cheap. Cheers

Upon arriving fell in love with the decor! Ordered chicken nachos for starters, enchilada and steak for main, so impressed with the food, fresh and delicious, amazing ambiance and the owner along with staff were so welcoming. Will deffo be visiting again!

I booked a table at The Chandelier on a friends night out. There were 20 of us, so no mean feat. The staff were friendly all through arranging and on the night the food was delicious and service was excellent. Excellent quality for very reasonable price. Will definitely be going back.

My husband and I visited this restaurant and were very disappointed. The food is clearly bought frozen and heated through, my chicken fingers were tough and contained very little chicken. My beef fajitas were rubbery and near on ineadible. My husband had a similar experience with his food too.

Love the food here it’s cooked to a high standard. It’s good value for money. I don’t normally write on here but this deserves a ten out of ten. You get lots of food . Staff are friendly and the place is very clean. Better than cactus jacks, definitely the best Mexican in town.

Recently had a lovely meal here with my wife,celebrating our anniversary. It's a lovely little place the staff were friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean. The menu is quite varied and we went with the Mexican. Beautifully cooked with generous portions. My wife couldn't believe the Chefs were cooking in such a small kitchen to such a decent quality , and she is a Chef herself. I had the sizzling lemon fish fajitas and they were great. Service was smooth and quick , loved it and we will go back .Thank you.

Recently went there for tea after a recommendation and wasn't disappointed.

Really good food with a range of choices suitable for all. Had gone out with some colleagues and this place really did cater for all of us.

Hidden away down the road from another well advertised Mexican. The prices were unbelievably good value. £6.95 for enchiladas with rice, nachos and 3 dips. The food was some of the best Mexican I have had. Only 2 tables occupied (but a healthy takeout service on the go) so the atmosphere and service was great. Looking forward to visiting Doncaster again next month purely so I can eat here again.

The food was amazing and the service was top notch - the staff were very polite and had a laugh with us. We were so glad to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant as we were all impressed with the food and atmosphere. It's rare to find fabulous Mexican cuisine in the UK and this place certainly won’t disappoint. It’s now our new favourite. Try the fajitas and Mongolian stir-fry- wow!

The Mexican food here is amazing! Lots of flavour and chicken cooked perfectly. Staff very friendly and place had a nice atmosphere. The food is very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and re-visit next time I am in the area!

Having visited twice this week. Firstly for girls night and then with friends who travelled from Milton Keynes I can only say wow. The food is sublime. Very different and varied menu. Staff are attentive and actually care that you enjoy their food. Cannot recommend too highly. Thank you

Ordered from here for the first time given all the good reviews, they said delivery would be an hour which is fine but altogether it arrived 45minutes late. They sent a message saying they were delayed by 20mins this was after the time it initially should of been delivered we waited the 20mins and still not here! My husband called them just for them to say the delivery driver has only just left!

A name of French origin, offering predominantly Mexican food should have been enough to lower my expectations.

Found this place by accident, had a great meal with the family. Great service, great food and a really nice place.

Had a great meal , the quality of the lamb chops I had was fantastic . My partner had the chicken fajitas which was equally good and fresh . Lovely clean surroundings and a very friendly and attentive host . Will definitely be going back and highly recommend

Excellent meal here tonight. Food all freshly cooked and plenty of it. Fajitas were lovely. Service was superb and we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money and will be back. Highly reccomend a visit.
