Flamingo in Bournemouth

Visited for the first time with friends after having many lovely meals in the Winton location however I was disappointed with both the service and the quality of food One of our party had to return their main course as it was inedible and summed up the lack of pride by the chef working, The chicken schnitzel was visibly over cooked and although we offered a replacement our friend declined . The service was slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy hence a disappointing evening and poor score

Been few times over the years . Nice cafe / restaurant. Food is good Drinks are very good. Staff is always friendly and happy to help .

Vinimos a almorzar mientras caminamos por la zona. Nos encontramos con una camarera amigable. El lugar estaba casi lleno, así que obviamente un destino local popular. Comimos guacamole y patatas fritas de tortilla mientras esperábamos por nuestra red. Los dos pedimos los tacos, estaban muy sabrosos y frescos. A un precio razonable. Un buen lugar para comer si camina por el paseo marítimo, ya que la ubicación está justo al lado de eso.

Muy bonito bar, ideal para bebidas y comida. Nuestro servidor Tasha era encantador y me ofreció una bebida de mi elección para mi cumpleaños, que fue un toque encantador. La comida no es la más barata, pero vale la pena por el ambiente.

Llevó a mi hijo aquí hoy, excelente servicio por Tash & Judit ♥️ tan hermosa cálida bienvenida. La comida era deliciosa y sabrosa! Lo recomendaría encarecidamente. ☺️

Bonita ubicación , buena comida y en un encantador interior aireado muy bien decorado. El personal era agradable la comida era muy agradable y llegó rápido. Hubiera sido un 5 * si hubieran tomado mi dinero en efectivo que ofrecí ya que no aceptan pago en efectivo. Lástima ya que no uso lugares sin efectivo y no volveré. Recomendado de otro modo.

Qué noche fabulosa. Como era Nochevieja estaba ocupado. Sin embargo, todo el personal era acogedor, amable y tan profesional. El filete era excelente. Muchas gracias por una gran noche. Hasta pronto.

A pocos pasos de la colina desde el muelle de Boscombe es esta impresionante joya de un restaurante. Había intentado caminar en un año o así, pero estaban llenos, así que hice la sabia elección de reservar una mesa esta vez. El personal era amable y atento, aunque visiblemente ocupado. Las sillas son cómodas. ¡Lo cual me encanta! Pero es difícil colgar abrigos así que los tiramos todos en un asiento. ¿Tal vez más perchas serían útiles? El lugar se ve muy listo para Instagram, pero cómodo y cálido. Los baños estaban limpios y David Attenborough hablaba de flamencos aparentemente. Buen toque. El menú es variado e interesante. Probamos los tacos de pescado, tater tots, papas fritas halloumi, feta batida, hamburguesa de pollo y papas fritas, papas fritas y salsa y ensalada de remolacha y pera. Sí, pedimos en exceso, pero estaba todo sabroso, bien presentado y abundante. No podíamos comer toda la ensalada, así que la encajonaron para que la lleváramos a casa. Los tacos (se obtienen 2 por pedido) eran impresionantes, pero no pude terminarlos, así que tal vez sea bueno para compartir. En resumen, es un destino para nosotros ahora.

Really like the new menu, the steak frites was cooked perfectly and reflected very good value for money . The ambience could still do with a little work but the food here's really improved.

We had a lovely family lunch with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. The food and service were both excellent. We had the tacos and they were so fresh and tasty. A really lovely relaxed atmosphere and ambience perfect for a family lunch. We will be back

November 25th Warm welcome around 4pm.. A varied, but not over complicated menu. Service was timely & friendly & the 2 wagu burgers hit the spot, as did the ' medicinal ' Old Fashioned '..😊👍. A few words on the bright & airy ambience, with good views across the sea towards Swanage...all in all definitely worth another visit.. thankyou..& good luck to the server on her 1st shift..😊

Comida promedio por el precio. Cócteles mejor que babosa y lechuga. Un entorno bastante agradable. Posiblemente volvería si estuviera pasando, pero no saldría de mi camino.

El personal era muy amable y servicial, el ambiente era relajado con un buen ambiente y la comida era deliciosa! En general una noche encantadora.

Mi madre y yo tuvimos un almuerzo encantador en el Flamingo que fue nuestra primera visita. Reservamos una mesa y me alegro de haberlo hecho ya que estaba lleno, con una cola. Nos sentamos dentro, que era inmaculado, muy elegante y tenía un gran bullicio. Tasha nos sirvió que era encantador - amable y atento. Gran comida y ambiente, así que sin duda volveremos!

Excelente desayuno las judías elegantes son increíbles. El personal es absolutamente brillante nada demasiado problema. Está en una ubicación ideal, así que después de haber comido cinco minutos a pie y estar en la playa. Incluso cuando usas el inodoro puedes escuchar todo sobre Flamencos.

A wonderful restaurant, with fantastic staff and lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were served by Georgia, who was delightful and very accommodating.

We always get a lovely welcome at Flamingo and even when they are busy they will do their best to fit you in. This was the first time I had been for breakfast and I couldn’t fault it. Attentive service, food and drinks arrived quickly and both the eggs Benedict and the veggie breakfast were delicious.

We visited for brunch (twice!) and dinner , when on a family break to Boscombe - we civets last year also and I think it was even better this year.Staff are super for friendly and there are options for vegan and veggies - just love it and look forward to next year!

We were staying in a holiday rental nearby, so dropped in for breakfast. Great staff, very helpful and excellent food. Based on that experience, we subsequently went back for dinner. As before, the staff were good, but the food and service was disappointing. In particular the fish tacos were poor. Overcooked battered fish was dry and had little taste. There was not enough spiced mayo, and little sign of pineapple in the salsa. We had to ask twice for our sides, that turned up well after the mains. 3 stars overall seems harsh, and 4 stars seems generous, but that is the mark I am giving.

Stunning place, it's smells divine (I looked for the air freshners, to get the same for home, no where to be seen). If anyone knows what the gragrance is please share. Anyways, beautiful, clean restaurant. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We took 30.minites to order, solely because the selection was immense. One man who will eat anything, child and vegetarian. They had an excellent selection for us all, prices vary,. So something for any budget. Highly recommended.

Was recommended this restaurant, however it turned out to be very mediocre. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Restaurant was very busy and they called us when they had a free table. Food was a huge disappointment. Calamari was over Fried making it tough and tasteless. Chicken burgers followed again over fried making them tough and dry. Chips definitely overcooked although did see some come out later that looked golden and fresh. We personally thought the fryer temperature was up to high that night. We didn’t complain as we expect to pay for what we had however we do vote with our feet and won’t be visiting again.

Lovely setting and staff. Eggs Benedict to be avoided, I’ve had it many times before in various places. But the sauce here was just like salad cream. Having said Al that I would eat here again because my 3 friends who had other breakfast options enjoyed theirs, Just wouldn’t have eggs Benedict

Visited today for my daughter’s birthday brunch. Lovely food, staff all very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Could not believe how busy it was even on a Monday lunchtime. Would defo advise pre booking. Dog friendly too. Will be visiting again soon.

Fantastic restaurant! The food is amazing, the staff are lovely and the decor is beautiful. Dog friendly too which is brilliant. If you order via QR code you can get points which can go towards discounts on your next bill. This was very useful because my mum and I ate here everyday of our holiday the food was so good! highly recommend the fish tacos and veggie breakfast.

Lovely place, not far from the beach. Excellent selection of different foods on the menu. Can do table service or via the app on site which worked well. Good atmosphere and a good lunch. Would recommend

Stayed near Bournemouth, but didn't want to venture into town for dinner. Found Flamingo with good reviews and wasn't disappointed. Food and drinks were high quality and good value. It was a very cold evening, and the covered area we sat had a draft where I was, however a nice blanket kept the legs warm and all was good. Staff were very friendly, service just the right speed. Would recommend.

Came across this little restaurant by chance whilst looking for an early evening meal. Very welcoming, delicious food and tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend .

Visited midweek for an early dinner with friends. As it was 4ish when we arrived, it was quite quiet (was starting to fill as we left). The decor is very pretty & we sat in the front conservatory style area which was lovely & warm. Staff were very friendly & didn’t mind how slow we were being with our order. Food was good. I had a Caesar Salad that was fabulous with plenty of chicken,dressing & crunchy croutons. Really nice all day dining venue that I’m sure I’ll visit again, especially as it’s dog friendly.

First visit and definitely won’t be the last. Had the most delicious vegan breakfast. One of the best I’ve ever had . The potato rostis were amazing, scrambled tofu with little bits of facon , spicy avocado on sour dough and the rest 🤤

Lovely atmosphere, food and service for any occasion. Generous freshly-cooked breakfast, perfect for a cold morning after a bracing walk by the sea.

The service was good, the food was good too but we were seated in the covered area at the front and the owners were too tight to put the heating on. The meal was spoilt as we had to wear our coats, we left as soon as we could as we were freezing. Honestly if they can’t afford to heat this area they should close it until they can.

Absolutely mortified. Visited Saturday 7th October 10am, we ordered 2 full English breakfasts. After ploughing through about 1/3rd of my breakfast, I realise my sausage is extremely pink, I started to worry as I had eaten a decent amount of this, so moved it to one side and proceeded to ask for another one as my partners looked all cooked. The new sausage never came and I grew impatient so left, 4 hours later I was sick over 8 times and extremely poorly. Watery eggs too. I’m disappointed in the service and quality for the price. After getting in touch explaining my illness, the team would not address my concerns and told me I had a stomach bug. Extremely rude staff and terrible customer service. Avoid avoid avoid! They will not take any accountability at all

Was with family, the experience at flamingo was beautiful. My kids loved the pancakes while wife had fish tacos lovely product. Athomosphere was stunning while service with a smile. Must mention the manager Alex who looked after us. Very positive and helpful. People who look after you like that make you want come back. Excellent experience
